"Surrender and accept your punishment. This is the last warning. You have already been marked by the emperor," the man who was commanding the large army shouted. He stood in front of the army.
All the people of the black zone shifted further and further away from there; otherwise, they would be crushed by the army. But they felt very sad since their houses and shops would undoubtedly be destroyed.
"Last warning? I thought the last one was the last. Don’t waste my time and charge." Jayden didn’t want to spend too much time in this depressing environment, so he planned to complete his task as soon as possible.
"Hmph, you are going to regret it. Arrow load!! Pull!!" The commander glared at Jayden with disdain, then gave the final command as if sealing Jayden’s fate. This move would kill him in a very miserable way.
The several hundred archers at the front all loaded arrows into their bows and awaited the command.

He lazily moved the black knife across the area in front of him, tearing the space apart easily as the arrows were sucked into it. Not a single one was left behind.
Thousands of gasps sounded at the same time. They stared at him in disbelief. None of them could compare to that kind of strength. Instantly, they were filled with dread. Even if they were over a hundred thousand, wouldn’t all of them end up dying in front of such an opponent?
Many who were behind in the army turned around and began to flee in all directions. They no longer even wanted to stay there. That monster was too terrifying.
"It seems this much isn’t enough to call out your emperor. He needs an even bigger sacrifice." Jayden shrugged his shoulders. He once again raised his right hand, pointing the knife’s tip toward the army below him.
"Go!!" Just as Jayden spoke, the knife disappeared from his hand. It flew at such a speed that it almost destroyed the space just by flying forward. Not even a fraction of a second had passed when the knife was back in his hand.

Again, blood dripped from the tip of the knife. Screams filled the space as the guards froze. Many looked down at their bodies and heaved sighs of relief that they were fine. Then they looked around to see who was attacked or if the attack even worked.
Around the outer layer of the army, several thousand of the guards were instantly cut into tiny pieces as blood spurted out, and even the fleeing ones died as they turned into a bloody mist. Each piece of their body was smaller than a millimetre.
A few seconds passed and it seemed as if time had been paused, then loud and fearful cries rang out all over the place. Almost all the guards were scared shitless as more than ten thousand of them died in an instant.
They really didn’t want to fight that demon anymore; almost all of them turned around and began to flee.
Jayden glanced into the distance. The emperor Decay still didn’t dare to come out even though so many of his people had died—he was way too cautious.
"All of you had enjoyed the suffering of others. Now it is time to pay for it all." Jayden muttered, as he looked down at the scattering crowd.
"All of you should know what true despair is." As he spoke, Jayden extended both his hands toward the crowd with all ten of his fingers stretched.
In the next instant, a red fluid condensed in front of each finger from destructive energy. Each one was just a small drop. After three seconds had passed, the ten drops descended toward the ground in complete silence among the dreadful howls of those creatures.
As the ten drops came in contact with the ground, all the corpses around were pulled towards them and were deformed around each drop of that red fluid. 𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢
Under the terrified gazes of all the guards, the red drops soon began to take the form of large, disgusting, and dangerous-looking beasts—large claws and sharp teeth with towering heights.
Over ten such monsters appeared within moments. The sight alone filled them with endless dread even before those monsters had started to move. Then horrifying roars resounded all over the place. The ten monsters finally came to life as they wildly charged into the army, crushing those creatures under their heavy bodies and turning them into minced meat.
They swung their claws and tore those creatures into pieces and even ate them alive, grinding them within their countless teeth. The whole scene was comparable to hell as constant wails and screams continued to ring out.
The people of the dark zone were spared, but seeing this sight even they pitied those guards. This was quite cruel. With each moment, those monsters slaughtered hundreds upon hundreds of them. Within a single minute, the number had been reduced to a few thousand.
"Alright, stop." When less than a hundred guards remained, Jayden finally gave the order for them to stop, and the monsters disappeared into thin air.
Jayden had decided to spare these few dozens of guards, since they weren’t evil like the others. Among over a hundred thousand evil creatures, only less than a hundred were still good.
"Aren’t you going to come out now? Do you want me to come there?" Jayden spoke, looking toward a luxurious house in the golden area. Decay was seated in his house and observed everything like a god.
Although he was vigilant toward Jayden, he was not yet afraid. He sat there with confidence and even looked at Jayden with some disdain. He didn’t expect this strange creature who appeared out of nowhere to actually see him.
Finally, he felt that it was time to come out. The emperor Decay’s body disappeared from the house, and in a dignified manner he appeared in front of Jayden.
His entire body was covered by a thick black smoke, so it was difficult to see the shriveled body hidden under all that.
"Who are you and what is your purpose for coming to this place?" Decay asked, looking him up and down.
"I am Jayden, and I am here for the Fruit of Despair and also the energy source of this universe." Jayden answered simply, surprising his opponent since he didn’t expect to receive the answer so easily.
"Haha, for all that you would first have to kill me. But are you capable?" Decay was still cautious of Jayden, so he didn’t want to give any time to his opponent and launched a deadly attack.
Black fog rushed out of his body, and his hands became a blur as he seemed to be forming some hand seals. Jayden already knew what kind of transformation he was going to have. Decay’s body began to expand and enlarge, reaching high into the sky.
