"Kekeke, hello First General, it seems you mistook our little Third General for my pet, but it is easier to make such a mistake considering his current state, that is." The Second General held back his laugh while speaking.

"Ah, it seems that is indeed the case; forgive me, Third General. You took quite long to complete your task, and now you are returning in such a state.

You better have succeeded in your task, or the Emperor won't be too happy with you." the First General spoke with a solemn look and narrowed eyes, a dangerous gleam appearing on his face.

"Uh, I— I have to talk to the Emperor first regarding this matter; can you come along, First General?" Zendax bowed and spoke respectfully, even though he feared the statue-like man.

"Follow me. If you are lucky, you might get to talk with the Emperor; if not, then you would have to wait for a few more years." The First General gestured for Zendax to follow and began to float away, heading straight towards the highest mountain, where a magnificent palace was built.

The mountain was shaped like a hand rising from the ground, with the palm facing upward and the five fingers spread around it; at the center of the palm, the large palace where the Emperor resides was present.

"Ha, you are quite lucky— able to cover such a large distance in that pathetic form; how fun would it have been if you were caught in the middle by some kid and then ended up as his toy." The Second General laughed, then flew away.

"Laugh all you want, I will definitely reach my peak and surpass it, then I will be the one laughing.

The voice was emotionless; there wasn't any anger or any other emotion, but Zendax's soul almost left his body just by hearing that voice.
