Caelus chuckled softly. The disparity between him and this monster was simply immense.
He stared at the goblin with a completely deadpan expression.
In the following instant, golden-black lightning crackled subtly across his body. He stretched his hand out, gathering the condensed lightning around his fingertips, and simply flicked it forward.
Bzzt! Crack! Boom!
The lethal lightning crashed into the Elite Green Goblin, instantly dropping it to the ground with a heavy thud.
"This will not do. I strictly need monsters with higher Combat Scores," Caelus mumbled.
At this point, he faced no challenge in the Origin Ascension Domain. He was not just being cocky. If a normal Level 7 monster had a Combat Score of 14, then a Level 8 would have 16, a Level 9 would have 18, and a Level 10 would peak at 20.
Was this domain not a bit too easy?
"But people like Sylvia also exist." Caelus reminded himself thoughtfully as he continued walking forward.
Several red eyes suddenly shone from the darkness. The wall torches slowly lit up, revealing an entire swarming horde of feral goblins.
The Tempest Dagger in his hand buzzed violently with lightning as he shot forward.
Bzzt! Boom!
The swarming goblins completely froze in their tracks before falling lifelessly to the stone floor one by one.

"There must be some way to find stronger enemies, right?" Caelus pondered.
Aside from surface-level intel, the Player’s Association strictly banned sharing deep secrets related to the Domain. The best public information only covered basic monsters and town building.
"Alright. It is time to go deeper." Caelus shook those stray thoughts away. Right now, finding a stronger opponent was not his actual priority. The weaker they were, the vastly easier it was to grind.
With that thought firmly in mind, Caelus stared at the narrow path ahead.

Without a single shred of hesitation, he blurred forward.

"I am very close to Level 7 now," Caelus nodded with a satisfied smile as he finally stopped in front of a massive gate.
On the way, he had managed to grind out a few extractions, bumping his Combat Score from 41.75 to 42.30.
Just then, Ren, Lara, and their elite party arrived from a side corridor.
"It is you," Lara sneered with a freezing cold look on her face.
"Yeah, it is me. What’s up?" Caelus asked with a cheerful smile.
"Lara, stop wasting your words on him," Ren stepped forward and commanded. "If I am not wrong, there should be a fortress boss on the other side of this door. We must secure the kill before him."
He then glared directly at Caelus. "And we will be streaming this live on OriginTube. Player 555, if you dare to backstab us, we will have you mass-reported by all the viewers watching our broadcast."
"Stream it?" Caelus raised an eyebrow. "Do you actually possess the Streaming Skill? Are you seriously rich enough to spend a fortune on an Epic Streaming Skill just to broadcast cool action scenes inside the Domain?"
The Domain possessed a native streaming system. Chloe was one of the many rising streamers in the Solaris Kingdom who used a specialized skill to automatically capture cinematic combat angles. There were even rare rumors of a streaming talent that could literally convert live viewers into raw Combat Score. The Origin Domain was truly amazing in its own unique way.
"Feel free to enter first," Caelus offered with a highly polite smile. "I promise not to attack you. I do not want to get mass-reported and banned from the Domain, after all."
"It is good that you finally understand your proper place, Player 555," Ren said with an arrogant smile. "We already know you just had a lucky encounter in this Domain. How else could you possibly be this powerful?"
With that bold claim, Ren gestured for Lara and the others to follow him. Together, they forcefully pushed open the gigantic iron gate.
As soon as the heavy doors parted, two devilish hisses echoed from deep within.
Whoosh!
A terrifying pressure washed violently over the group. Feeling this intense aura, Caelus slowly looked inside with a wide, excited smile forming on his face. His eyes turned dragon-like as he analyzed the two massive monsters waiting in the dark.

Ren and his elite party stared frozen at two humongous, red-and-black striped snakes. Their massive hoods were spread wide, revealing all seven of their glowing eyes. Their venomous jaws unhinged as they locked onto Ren.
By now, Ren had officially initiated his live broadcast, and twenty curious viewers had already joined the channel. Some were resting after hunts, while others were simply idling safely in the beginner towns of their respective servers.
[Chat: A Lord-Level beast?! What the hell? Is this actually the new server?]
[Chat: I am pretty sure this is the new server. How is this even possible?]
[Chat: Who exactly are these arrogant people again? Can they even beat them?]
[Chat: Probably, right?]
A few minutes later...
[Chat: Hahahahaha this is literally so funny. I am going to post this on social media.]
Ren and Lara were collapsed on the floor with several nasty bite marks across their bodies. They were shaking from head to toe as they stared at the two terrifying figures looming in front of them.
Then, they completely collapsed to the floor.
"Well. That did not go well," Caelus said as he slowly walked in with a big smile on his face. "So much for their first stream. RIP."
The two giant snakes instantly laid their eyes on Caelus and hissed with dangerous intent.
However, Caelus just smiled kindly at them as golden lightning began to rapidly crackle around his body.
The next moment, his black eyes turned crimson, with golden, clock-like structures forming within his irises.
It was as if time had physically slowed down. The world flashed black for him. The only things visible were his golden lightning and two glaring weak spots on the snakes, who were now completely stunned in place.
He took a single step forward.
Bzzt! Swish!
The sharp sound of lightning crackling softly rang out. The two massive snakes fell lifelessly to the ground before they could even blink.
"A difference of ten Combat Score. Not even a Lord-type monster can survive that," Caelus said, turning around with a satisfied smile.
"Well, if you were that World Boss, then things would be different." Caelus chuckled as he kept his dagger away.
