Enchanting His Heart: His Little Fox-Chapter 26: Stop Trying to Take Advantage of Me
She looked out the window, not quite sure what she was thinking. Although Tang Si seemed relaxed, there was a certain air of despondency surrounding him. ๐๐ฃ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐จ๐ฏ๐๐.๐๐จ๐
Maybe it was the strong smell of smoke on him that made her feel like Tang Si was smoking away his sorrowsโ
The atmosphere in the car was too somber. She usually preferred lively settings; she was afraid of loneliness.
And thinking about it, Tang Si was just looking out for her last night. Sometimes she was wild and careless with her words, but she had always been clean in actions, never crossing the line.
Perhaps Tang Si thought she was part of the entertainment industry and couldnโt be all that clean.
Licking her lips, she suddenly found a topic and spoke: "Did you see everything?"
The womanโs voice was gentle, clear as spring water, very light and soft.
He naturally knew what Song Yi was asking about.
Tang Siโs gaze was on the road ahead, and his lips moved slightly as he spoke faintly: "No."
"No?" Song Yi frowned, clearly displeased. This was a rejection of her feminine charm.
What kind of no was it? Was it that she had no chest, or did he not see?
Tang Si was a policeman, naturally sensitive and perceptive. He picked up on Song Yiโs tone and took a glance at her while stopped at the red light.
She was staring at him, clearly unhappy, cheeks puffed out, making her look a bit more adorable. Somehow, the air in the car seemed to be sweetened by her presence into a softer, more charming ambiance.
Tang Si curled his lips into a light smile, looking wild and unruly. One hand on the steering wheel, the other resting against the car window touching his chin, his eyes were fixed on the traffic light.
Casually: "Somewhere around a C-D, I guess."
The manโs deep, magnetic voice blew into Song Yiโs ears with the wind outside the window, lazily playful and teasing.
The sound passed through her ears, making Song Yi feel a tingling sensation as if an electric current ran through her body, causing her heart to flutter slightly.
The words also went straight past her mind to her heart, like a rogueโs banter, making one both angry and annoyed, yet feeling a girlish shyness.
Soon after, Song Yi felt the wind howling in her ears, making her mind a chaotic mess, as if blowing her thoughts away, leaving her flustered by his response.
He had a knack for throwing oneโs thoughts into turmoil and guiding people right into the trap of his words, a sly fox with a smiling facade.
In the midst of the light breeze and drifting clouds, he had already laid out his trap.
While Song Yi was stunned, he didnโt forget to toss in another line: "Did I make it to your satisfaction with my guess? Or was my estimation accurate?"
This voice, drawling and lazy to the core, jokingly posed the questions.
Song Yi had a resilient nature; she looked at the car window, with her luscious red lips gently curving up: "Why should I tell you?"
Pausing, she said: "If you tell me whether you have 18 centimeters, Iโll tell you if you guessed correctly."
In the womanโs voice was a blatant smile, playfully and provocatively so.
Song Yiโs saying something like this didnโt surprise Tang Si at all.
He merely glanced at Song Yi, as she sat in the passenger seat with arms crossed, her skin delicate, her side profile smoother compared to her dazzling front view, kind and gentle.
She encompassed both the allure and tenderness of a woman. But with her character, she gave off an impression of a striking enchantress, vivid and captivating, yet with thorns, not easy to provoke. Careless enough, one might fall for her hopelessly.
"I saw everything. Is it that important whether itโs a C or D?" He held the steering wheel, turned a corner, and said in a light and semi-joking tone: "President Song, donโt think you can take advantage just because you canโt lure people away."
