Chapter 1101: Chapter 740: We Were Wrong!

"Shadow Tribes..." π•—π«πžπ•–π•¨πžπ—―πš—π• π˜ƒπžπš•.πœπ—Όπš–

Eve’s voice was devoid of emotion.

The players gathered around, causing an uproar:

"What the heck? These demons turned into elves?"

"Where did these elves pop up from?"

Eve’s gaze swept over the corpses, then suddenly closed her eyes.

A faint glow converged on her body, and under the astonished gazes of the players, several elf corpses emitted a faint blue radiance that rose like photons.

They circled the corpses, then flew into Eve’s hand.

Eve gently grasped them, and her Divine Soul immediately projected some images...

These were memory fragments.

The memories were not complete, preserving only the last two days’ memories, quickly replaying in reverse within Eve’s Divine Soul.

Purified by Aurora, escorted by players, participating in battle on the battlefield, moving alongside the Demon Army...

The route of the Demonized Elves traced back continually to the past, and the ultimate origin was a majestic Demon Fortress, located behind it, with several rotating Plane Gates.

They... emerged from one of them.

At this point, the images ended, and Eve instantly understood what those Plane Gates were...

They were Plane Gates temporarily opened by the Abyss Myth to the subsidiary planes of the Abyss, used to transport demon soldiers from subsidiary planes.

Combining the news brought back by Hela, Eve easily connected the dots...

The Abyss couldn’t possibly have Shadow Tribe elves appear without reason.

They likely came from that unknown plane.

The Abyss Myths decided to invade Segis World, and apart from Azazel, all Demon Gods were massively expanding their armies.

It’s very likely that Leviathan decided to completely pull that plane into the Abyss for army expansion, transforming all life on the plane into demon soldiers for the upcoming war.

And almost instantly, Eve made a judgment...

Based on the timeline provided by Hela, coupled with the timing of these Demonized Elves appearing here, it can be deduced that the plane just began its descent into the Abyss.

And the elves inside... are mostly still alive.

At this moment, if a way could be found to enter that plane, there might be a chance to prevent its downfall and bring all Shadow Tribe elves back.

This judgment required no thought, instantly forming an answer in Eve’s mind.

Yet precisely because there was no need for thought, it made Eve a bit hesitant.

Hela received news of the Shadow Tribes, then immediately afterwards, players encountered Demonized elves... could it be too coincidental?

Eve instinctively felt things were going too smoothly.

Conspiracy?

This thought flashed through Eve’s mind again.

But quickly, she felt the likelihood was not high.

Aside from Evil Gods like Luria with the priesthood of lies, and Alisa with conspiracy priesthood, most Abyss Myths are actually quite straightforward.

Not sure if the Power of the Abyss influences their thoughts, many Abyss Myths are quite irritable and easy to understand.

Even Demon God Samael, who almost succeeded in invading the southern mountain’s underground regions, essentially took advantage of the Dwarf God’s corrupted Divine Soul, rather than orchestrating his own intricate plots.

Of course, everything should be considered from the worst angle; if this was news intentionally leaked by demons, then what’s their purpose?

"Lure? Ambush?"

Another thought floated in Eve’s mind.

This possibility cannot be ruled out.

The Abyss Myths wanting to invade Segis World now face the greatest obstacle not in the Heavenly Realm gods but in the fully empowered Eve within the Segis Plane.

With Eve and her army of players here, the Abyss attack would be hindered.

So... from this perspective, Eve is quite sure the Abyss Myths would be more than happy to see her fall.

And if so, should she go?

Quickly, Eve came to an answer.

"Of course, to go; knowing that my believers are in peril, why not go?"

"With the Reverse Gate, even if there’s a conspiracy, can it really trap me?"

"Furthermore, it’s not my true body going... At worst, I’d lose an incarnation; but if luck favors, a considerable number of believers might return, maybe even an additional Demigod!"

"Besides, since the plane is descending into the Abyss and is so concealed, perhaps... I might find a way to surreptitiously advance there."

Eve thought in her heart.

Her greatest advantage right now, aside from the bug-like Reverse Gate, is that no one knows her true body is the World Tree.

And of all these worst-case judgments, Eve considers their likelihood low.

There is risk, but she feels it’s worth taking.

Thinking of this, Eve decisively looked at Aurora:

"They should be the shadow elves who went to other planes a thousand years ago. I read their memory fragments and now know their origin."

Aurora’s spirit lifted:

"Lord Ling, what do you plan to do?"

"I intend to report this to Goddess and personally investigate."

Eve replied.

The players watched Aurora with a vaguely impressed, even respectful demeanor, and were taken aback.

What’s the feeling...

Big Sister’s status in the church seems higher than Aurora’s?
