Elder Kinston's Exclusive Sweet Wife-Chapter 784 - 814: It’s Not Time Yet
She nearly threw herself against his chest, causing her to instantly feel an aching pain.
"Kyle Kinston, what are you doing?" she said, instinctively trying to break free from his embrace.
But instead, he pulled her even tighter into his arms, his face buried in the crook of her neck, his breath tingling on her neck, making her shiver.
"Kyle Kinston, let go," she whispered urgently. This was the neighborhood, and even though it was late at night with barely anyone around, there might still be a few late passersby.
He suddenly lowered his head and bit the skin on the back of her hand, truly biting, making Mabel Quinn cry out in pain, barely stifling her voice.
But what truly made the hair on her skin stand on end came afterward. If it was just a bite, that would have been it, but he rubbed his teeth across it, sending a wave of goosebumps across her skin, every hair standing on end.
"It hurts... it really hurt just now..." he murmured, his voice carrying a slight, seductive rasp.
For heaven’s sake! She should be the one who was hurting, Mabel Quinn thought. "Please let go of me first, okay?"
"No," he directly refused her. "Let me hold you a bit longer."
Just now, the pain had suddenly spread throughout his body. It was a sign of the Full Moon Blood Curse, telling him of the full moon’s approach, and as soon as she got close to him, it was almost a reflex to hold her tightly.
The physical pain began to subside as he held her.
This was the power of life dependency. Like someone poisoned deeply, the antidote’s allure was unimaginable. The more one relied on it, the deeper the poison took root, yet it was impossible to abstain, because the longing was too intense.
Even though the physical pain had subsided now, he was still unwilling to let her go.
"Kyle Kinston, what happened just now? Is it your chronic ailment acting up again?" she asked.
"It’s not the real time for that," he said softly.
What did that mean? She was taken aback.
But then she heard his voice next to her ear, "Did I bite you hard just now?" His gaze was fixed on the spot on her hand where he had bitten. The skin wasn’t broken, but the bite mark was unmistakable.
"Of course it hurt," she said irritably. "Why don’t you try getting bitten?"
"Alright, then why don’t you bite me," he said, actually extending his hand to her lips.
Mabel Quinn was instantly embarrassed. His fingers were long and beautiful, the joints and nails seemed like works of art. At this moment, his fingers were practically touching her lips, clearly inviting her to bite, but did she really want to take a bite? To really bite, it felt like she was somehow at a loss here.
"Not biting?" his voice came from just beside her.
"No... I’m not," she turned her face away, inexplicably feeling a flush creeping onto her cheeks.
"Then let me do it," he said softly.
She suddenly tensed up, "What are you going to..." Before she could finish, his lips gently kissed the spot on her hand where he had bitten earlier, his eyelashes gently drooping, his expression so focused, yet so tender. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦
This side of him gave her a sense of unfamiliarity, as if he was different from usual, yet irresistibly attractive, making her unwilling to take her eyes off him.
