Earth's Alpha Prime-Chapter 275: Glimpse of Prehistoric Era’s End
Chapter 275: Glimpse of Prehistoric Era’s End
Meanwhile, Jay's unconscious body lay sprawled across the scorching desert sands, the heat radiating from the ground barely registering as his mind was pulled into the depths of his Spirit Space.
From there, it was pulled directly into his Innate Talent, a familiar yet enigmatic place, one he visited each time he neared a significant advancement in his mastery over ORIGIN ENERGY.
Unlike previous experiences—where visions instantly revealed the technique he needed to master, trapping him in an unending cycle until perfection—something entirely different unfolded before him. Instead of a technique, a vivid memory surfaced, one that did not belong to him.
Within it, he glimpsed the towering, awe-inspiring Eternal God Body of his predecessor, a figure that embodied unparalleled power. Yet, what he witnessed was not the cold, lifeless shell observed earlier.
The body was alive, emanating otherworldly power. The scene around the Eternal God Body was equally striking— the galaxy surrounding it had been utterly decimated—no longer the vibrant stretch of stars he had once known, but a shattered wasteland of destruction. The neighboring galaxies had also suffered, reduced to mere remnants of their former glory. frёewebnoѵēl.com
Orpheus stood amidst the ruin, his figure towering against the backdrop of a shattered cosmos. His gaze drifted over the broken remnants of once-thriving galaxies, sorrow deeply etched into the lines of his face.
A heavy sigh escaped him, laden with the burden of past choices. With a slow, deliberate motion, his hand reached for the immense Glaive hovering loyally by his side. The ancient weapon seemed to resonate with his touch, as though sharing in the weight of his grief.
"I should never have allowed it to reach this point," he murmured, his voice carrying the somber tone of deep lament. "There's no turning back now. It must be done."
After a pause, Orpheus turned his gaze toward the Glaive, his hardened expression softening with a rare tenderness as he continued, "Watch over my descendants while I am gone," he said quietly.
"Guard them, as you once guarded me, until the one who will succeed me arrives." His words carried a deep trust, a plea woven into the fabric of an order, but spoken with the intimacy reserved for a companion that had endured countless lifetimes by his side.
The Origin Glaive hummed in response, a low, resonant sound that vibrated through the silent void, as if acknowledging its master's request. The subtle tremor in its hovering stance betrayed a hesitation, an unwillingness to part from its master, as though it, too, mourned the necessity of what was to come.
Jay remained as a silent observer, watching the memory unfold before him, each moment revealing a glimpse into a past long buried in time. He could only bear witness to the monumental event that had transpired, events that seemed to mark the tragic end of the Prehistoric Era.
Though he watched with rapt attention, the reasons behind that era's downfall—the catastrophic forces that had driven it to ruin—remained a mystery to him.
His predecessor's words, filled with regret and sorrow, echoed in Jay's mind, but their meaning slipped just beyond his grasp. 'What had Orpheus lamented? What choices had led to such devastation?'
Jay could feel the immense weight of the loss, yet the deeper truths and complexities of the past slipped beyond his understanding. The burden of history hung heavily over him, its secrets tightly guarded, leaving him with far more questions than answers.
As Jay watched the scene unfold before him, a wave of shock gripped him when Orpheus' piercing gaze landed directly on him, as though his predecessor could see beyond the confines of the vision. It felt as if the ancient figure wasn't just part of a memory but was fully aware of Jay's presence, observing him from across time.
"Look after him for me, as he will do the same for you," the ancient voice echoed in Jay's mind. "Grow stronger and find the successor of LIMITLESS PRIMORDIAL. Together, save the OMNOS from its predestined annihilation, for all we managed was to delay the inevitable."
The weight of those words left Jay utterly stunned. It was the same voice he had heard when unleashing <HEAVEN BREAKER> against the Plasma Predator, that same foreboding presence echoing with power and purpose.
Yet, what shook him even more was the intense reality of the experience. Though it was merely a vision, everything felt incredibly vivid, especially the moment Orpheus locked eyes with him. It didn't feel distant or detached—it was as if the ancient being stood before him in the present, communicating directly with his soul.
Jay's mind spun in confusion. What annihilation was Orpheus referring to? And how was he supposed to find this mysterious successor of the LIMITLESS PRIMORDIAL? The answers seemed impossibly distant, lost in the vastness of time.
His chaotic thoughts were cut short by the voice of Orpheus once again. "You have many questions, and rightly so. As you cross each Universe Limit, fragments of my memories will reveal themselves. With each step forward, the knowledge you seek will come."
As those words resonated through his mind, Orpheus closed his eyes, his expression calm and resolute. A moment later, a colossal shockwave of Origin Energy surged outward from him, sweeping across the entire scene.
The immense force washed over everything, engulfing the spatial ruins in a brilliant silver light. The sheer magnitude of the energy overwhelmed Jay's senses, pushing him out of the vision, pulling his consciousness from the depths of his Innate Talent.
In an instant, Jay snapped back to reality, finding himself once again lying on the scorching desert sand. The memory had faded, but its impact lingered heavily within him.
The notification floating before him instantly shifted his focus, pushing the events of the vision to the back of his mind. His attention locked onto the message—it was about the weapon he had been waiting for, something he had long anticipated.

A sudden warmth spread through Jay's right arm. As he glanced down, he instinctively morphed the Centauri Kavach around his arm, allowing it to retract and reveal the skin beneath. The moment the armor peeled back, intricate markings began to take shape, spiraling from his shoulder down to his wrist.
The tattoo twisted around his bicep like a coiled serpent, its sleek design mimicking the elegant, lethal curves of a blade. Black and silver ink shimmered in the sunlight, forming the long, sweeping edge of the dual-bladed Glaive. The hilt rested near his shoulder, and the twin, gently curving blades extended the length of his forearm with razor-sharp outlines.
Jay could tell right away that it was no ordinary tattoo—but the Origin Glaive itself, bound to him just like the Centauri Kavach. Instinctively, he clenched his hand, thinking of summoning the weapon.
The tattoo responded immediately, the coiled serpent on his arm unraveling. The lines of the tattoo seemed to straighten, flowing outward as if the Glaive was coming to life.
With a pulse of power, the tattoo expanded, elongating and stretching into the air until the full form of the Glaive materialized, floating in front of him. The long, curved blade gleamed in the light, its sharp edges catching the eye, while the elegant handle remained balanced and sleek, perfectly mirroring his six-foot height.
The weapon hovered before him, almost as if it were studying him, its movements cautious, deliberate. A soft hum resonated from the blade, carrying a quiet but unmistakable sentience. Jay could feel it—not in words, but in emotion.
That was the Glaive's first meeting with its new wielder, and the subtle vibrations in the air conveyed its hesitance. It wasn't yet ready to fully embrace him, not until it understood more about the man it would fight alongside.
Jay extended his hand toward it, and though the Glaive drifted closer, there was a cautiousness in its movement, a hesitance that hung in the air. The soft hum it emitted shifted slightly, carrying a trace of curiosity through the vibrations.
ORIGIN GLAIVE wasn't fully committed to him yet, and Jay sensed its hesitation, the weapon still deciding whether to trust him. But it was more than just a weapon; it was alive in its own way, and its wariness showed in the slow, reserved sway of the blade.
Jay, sensing the uncertainty between them, spoke softly. "I'm glad to finally meet you," he said, his voice calm yet resolute. "I promise to honor my predecessor, and take care of you as he did. I hope you can do the same."
For a moment, the blade remained still, humming quietly, as if weighing his words. Then, almost as if taking a leap of faith, the Glaive drifted forward, flowing gracefully into Jay's outstretched hand.
The moment his fingers wrapped around the handle, he felt a surge of connection, stronger than before—a silent agreement between them. Jay didn't intend to treat it as just a weapon, but as a partner, ready to take the first step together on the journey ahead
