Dual Cultivation: Ying Yang is way to Chaos-Chapter 328: Weak Response
The man had a burly appearance wearing a robe which gave a full view of his arms. It was evident that he was also a body cultivator and Lin Feng could sense that.
Another disappointed voice sounded as the other man from the unknown faction shook his head. "Indeed it’s a disappointment... what should we do with him? Kill him."
"No, maybe he is here to join our side. So we can’t kill him yet senior." The woman from Yin Yang Harmony Sect spoke immediately and looked at Lin Feng. "State who you are and why you visited here."
They were told that there was a chance some factions might come to contact them if they successfully captured Lotus Bloom City and now that they had it might be the case. Not to mention this cultivator had come wearing a mask.
Lin Feng hadn’t crossed paths with any Heaven Ascension disciples of Yin Yang Harmony Sect so he didn’t know who she was.
Among the four the two who were from the unknown faction were at peak stage of Heaven Ascension realm while the two disciples were in late stage.
Overall they were using the cultivators of other factions as spearheads.
"What is there to state? You invaded Northern Region which I consider as my home. Isn’t it obvious I have come to take one or two heads as compensation."
Hearing Lin Feng created a tense atmosphere around them. The two unknown cultivators who were nonchalantly standing with relaxed posture got attentive before laughing.
"Hahahah... I thought there didn’t exist fools after reaching Heaven Ascension realm. After all, how can a fool with a fickle mind cross their Void Tribulations even if they were talent ed, but I was proven wrong." The burly man smirked but he was still on guard. Maybe this cultivator was just bait.
They couldn’t see through his cultivation realm but the previous spiritual sense they sensed was potent enough for him to be in Heaven Ascension realm.
"Maybe this guy is blessed by heavens and crossed his Void Tribulation in a single step." The disciple of Crimson Flame Palace spoke while shaking his head. "Sometimes heaven really is blind."
Lin Feng didn’t pay much attention to their words. His attention was toward the multiple gazes he had felt. It seemed there were many onlookers here.
He paid attention to only one gaze which had shown a little hostility toward him unlike the other nonchalant ones.
There was a possibility of that person being a Tribulation Ascendance realm to protect their disciples just in case if Frozen Heart Sect’s response was too aggressive.
Or maybe it was a trap. Were they trying to remove all kind of caution and use Tribulation Ascendance realm from the start?
It was a good thing he came or his aunts might have fallen into a trap.
"Heaven definitely is blind in some matters, I can agree with you but the scope of those matters is something you can’t comprehend." Lin Feng said and immediately activated his blood qi and before any of them could react, he was already in front of the Heaven Ascension disciple of Crimson Flame Palace.
The disciple’s eyes widened as blood drained from his face. He immediately tried to cover himself with a protective technique but before he could do so a hand covered in almost ethereal qi grabbed his neck.
Lin Feng didn’t kill him and controlled his qi to not harm him. Immediately he felt a spiritual sense of a Tribulation Ascendance and a cultivator clad in red crimson robe appeared above them definitely an elder of Crimson Flame Palace.
The other Heaven Ascension cultivators were still in shock. First seeing the explosive strength and second his cultivation realm... this person was only in Late Stage of Void Tribulation realm. Was this some trick to hide cultivation realm.
They all looked at him with trepidation and backed off a little. Nonetheless, now that their senior had decided to interfere they could just watch silently.
"Release him." The elder said calmly but Lin Feng could sense a little restlessness in his expression.
"Hmm.... why should I? You guys really are shameless. First you captured Lotus Bloom city without announcing that you are waging war and then you a Tribulation Ascendance realm cultivator interfering in the war..." Lin Feng’s voice was slow but since he used spirit qi those who were watching from far also heard it clearly.
Most of them were from Northern Region too. They wanted to see who had the upper hand in the conflict.
They didn’t care much about being attached to Frozen Heart Sect. If they felt that their future was more secure in the hands of Yin Yang Harmony and Crimson Flame Palace then they would support them.
They were surprised when no one from Frozen Heart Sect came to confront Yin Yang Harmony and Crimson Flame Palace. Even more surprising was this masked cultivator whom they didn’t know.
The elder from Crimson Flame Palace squinted his eyes. "Aren’t you also a Tribulation Ascendance cultivator? Just because you are using tricks to hide your cultivation doesn’t mean that others are fools."
Lin Feng was a little taken aback. He even wanted to clap at the shamelessness of this guy. He shook his head as he didn’t like playing games.
"I see, so that’s how you are trying to save your face. Alright, let’s say I am Tribulation Ascendance but the strength I used is definitely not in that realm. Well whatever
...here you go." Lin Feng let go of his restraint on his qi and immediately ethereal chaos qi covered the Heaven Ascension cultivator who had become a little relaxed after his ancestor had arrived.
"AHHH—" In less than a breath the disciple of Crimson Flame Palace disappeared from the world.
Everyone who watched this got stunned. The elder was in the same state but he instantly became furious. "DIE..."
Flames gathered around his hands and the whole area got heated around them. The other Heaven Ascension cultivators immediately ran far away.
Lin Feng gathered all his strength. After refining all his body and qi cultivation with chaos qi to the late stage no one in Heaven Ascension realm was his match. Even his aunt Lian wasn’t able to come close but he doubted he could win against someone in Tribulation Ascendance. Nonetheless he wasn’t totally helpless.
As the Tribulation Ascendance cultivator waved his hand the flame sphere arrived in front of him in the blink of an eye.
He immediately created a barrier of chaos qi around him and then...

A deafening sound of destruction echoed as flames roared everywhere in the sky. The common people in Lotus Bloom City trembled as they saw the burning sky. The whole city was enveloped by a suffocating heat which was hard to bear.
All the cultivators who were paying attention saw a blazing sphere moving toward the ground before it stopped at a certain distance.
As flames slowly vanished a bluish purple barrier became visible. Inside the barrier was Lin Feng and there was blood leaking from his mouth.
Lin Feng quietly wiped the blood and looked at the Tribulation Ascendance cultivator before gathering chaos qi in a similar attack as the one he faced just now.
The Tribulation Ascendance cultivator was in a shocked state right now. The strength he felt from the barrier Lin Feng had deployed was still in Void Tribulation realm but he wasn’t able to break it.
When he saw him gathering that ethereal qi which he still wasn’t able to figure out what it was he became alert.
"We will meet again..." Lin Feng waved his hand and the sphere of chaos moved toward the disciple of the Yin Yang Harmony sect. It wasn’t an attempt to kill her as he was sure that the elder from Crimson Flame Palace would protect her and that would be enough for him to leave quietly.
As he had expected the elder moved and created a wall of flames...

Another deafening boom echoed through the sky but the blue qi vanished quietly as Lin Feng hadn’t put much in this attack. It was just a distraction for him to leave.
The elder gritted his teeth. The Heaven Ascension disciple of his sect was dead and it happened under his watch. It would definitely ruin his image. The worst part was that the cultivator who did it seemed to use strength of only Late Stage Void Tribulation realm which was definitely some kind of trick or else it was impossible for this guy to survive his attack.
But accepting the fact that he got tricked was also a stain on his image. Dammit what kind of qi was it? Everything must be because of that qi.
Those who came to watch the conflict left quietly but they weren’t sure what they had just seen but one thing was clear that this cultivator was sent by Frozen Heart Sect.
No matter how strong this cultivator appeared the response from Frozen Heart Sect seemed quite weak.
