Dual Cultivation: Ying Yang is way to Chaos-Chapter 276: Time to Leave

"I will go now..." Xie Ruyue said as she still hadn’t submitted the mission and collected her rewards. After doing that she would deliver the parchment.

Lin Feng nodded, "Alright..." He stood up too. He had one last step left. It was to talk to Huo Meiling. He looked towards the dense spirit qi gathering in the array. It was already reaching the amount he needed.

He wore his robes and came to the spirit field. Today he wasn’t going to refine pills as there was no need to.

He just cultivated a little bit when Tang Zhi and Shen Yu arrived. They greeted him and went to their work in the field.

He continued cultivating while attending to some disciples who came to plant or take away their spirit herbs.

At noon finally Huo Meiling arrived.

"Here are your spirit stones senior brother Lin. They have bought all those pills at the rate of what you have gained from auctioning them..." Huo Meiling passed the spirit stones which Lin Feng took.

After putting the spirit stones away he stood up, "Let’s have a walk junior sister Huo."

Huo Meiling was surprised and nodded, "Alright..."

They came out of the spirit field and walked towards the forest. When Lin Feng was sure that no one was in the vicinity he spoke, "Junior sister listen carefully..."

Huo Meiling came back to her cave abode while in deep thought. She went inside and looked at Fu Zhen who was cultivating. She sighed and went near him, "Brother Fu..."

Fu Zhen woke up, "What is it?" It was unusual for her to disturb him like that.

Huo Meiling took a small breath, "I want you to go to the Northern Region for a few days."

Fu Zhen got stunned. It had indeed been more than a year now so going back to the clan was a really good idea but, "Why did you say that only I have to go? You aren’t coming?"

Huo Meiling shook her head, "It’s impossible for me to go out for a long time. You do know elder Yan had only allowed me to visit nearby places around the sect."

She didn’t want to tell him that she would be coming but in a little different way. Nor did she want to explain everything else she had listened to from brother Lin.

"Ahh... yes you are pretty restricted. Ok I am free. I will go tomorrow—"

"No... go today. I am feeling a little uneasy. Go and check if everything is alright there," Huo Meiling spoke immediately.

Fu Zhen was surprised at her persuasion, "Alright I will go." He doubted anything unusual would happen to their clans.

Huo Meiling nodded, "Then leave now."

Fu Zhen nodded and stood up, "If nothing major happened then I will be back in five or six days."

Huo Meiling nodded, "Alright..."

Fu Zhen left the abode and Huo Meiling finally sighed. She didn’t understand why brother Lin told her that the situation would turn grim for them if they stayed in this sect for even one day but she believed it.

She doubted that he was someone who would be doing this for fun. She sat down and waited for further instructions as she didn’t know how she would be allowed to leave... would she have to run? Would she be able to?

Inside the forest outside Tianping City Xie Ruyue who was covering herself in a veil and different robe took out the token she had gotten from Lin Feng and infused a little qi inside it.

An array got formed on the token and she followed it while also using her spiritual sense to see if anyone was nearby or not. After a while she came to a big tree and seeing that the arrow was pointing towards it while being slanted she knew that the array was here.

She flew down and looked thoroughly and as expected it was beside one of the roots of the tree.

Sensing no one around nearby she placed the parchment and left.

About 100 miles away inside a village a man looked at a similar token which vibrated a little when the array got activated due to the placement of the parchment.

He immediately went towards the forest to take the new information.

Xie Ruyue arrived at the spirit field and went to the hall. When she saw Lin Feng she nodded, "It’s done..."

Lin Feng nodded in understanding, "Alright then senior sister bring junior sister Huo to our abode... it’s time for you guys to leave."

Xie Ruyue took a small breath when she heard that, "Alright..."

Lin Feng also stood up and stretched himself. It was time to start everything. He went inside the spirit field and looked towards Tang Zhi and Shen Yu, "You two come here."

Tang Zhi and Shen Yu immediately left everything and came to him, "Yes senior brother Lin?"

"Go back to the outer sect and come tomorrow. I will handle everything here today..."

Tang Zhi and Shen Yu got stunned. They didn’t know why he wanted to do their work but they couldn’t question him.

"Alright senior brother."

"As you wish senior brother."

After bowing they left immediately.

Lin Feng flew up and came back to his abode and shortly after Xie Ruyue and Huo Meiling entered inside.

When Huo Meiling saw what was inside she got stunned. She didn’t know what one of the arrays did but the other one had gathered quite a lot of spirit qi and it was totally visible.

She was sure that these arrays weren’t simple and there was no way the sect would provide something like that.

"Senior sister you guys will be teleported about a hundred thousand kilometres. From there on just go to the Northern Region..." Lin Feng said while inserting spirit stones in the nodes.

Teleporting more than that would only cause spatial cracks which might even trigger the main protective array of the sect. Although he doubted those arrays could stop teleportation.

The only problem was that it would alert others before he could activate the array platform.
