Dual Cultivation: I Summon Villainesses of Mythic Era-Chapter 87: Dragonification
Suddenly, a surge of Qi of absolute purity, a remnant of Huojin’s Dao Authority, exploded from the ground and pierced the vault of the cave to soar toward the zenith. This column of light, half white and half violet, tore through the clouds of the Purple Mist, acting like a beacon visible for hundreds of leagues.
As a result, the unstable balance of this forbidden zone was broken. The Khao, that energy of hatred and decomposition unique to the Rakshasas, began to stir frantically in response.
"This beacon of light is going to attract all the putrefied vermin of this kingdom. We are at the center of a target."
BaiShe adjusted his sage monocle.
"You are right on that point Long Huang : your presence here has become a luxury I can no longer afford. Besides your black dragon constitution is too recognizable for the saint of the Temple who will not delay in returning."
He turned toward her, his expression suddenly becoming imperious, a gleam of the Celestial Demon piercing through the mask of the scholar.
"Leave now. Return to the domain of the Pride Clan. My mother, Xuan Sijin, will know how to perfect your convalescence..."
The dragoness clenched her fists, volutes of black smoke escaping from her hair.
"Do not think that I am obeying you... After all, I have not forgotten everything you bastard..." she murmured before transforming into a column of dark flames and disappearing into a spatial rift. 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚
"We will meet again in the Upper Realm..."
No sooner had she left than the ground began to rumble violently. Hundreds of massive silhouettes began to emerge from the petrified roots surrounding the sanctuary. The Rakshasas, driven by a primitive hunger amplified by the Qi discharge, converged toward the source of light. Among them, one presence stood out by its crushing malevolence.
A six-horned Rakshasa, an abomination three meters tall whose porcelain mask was streaked with scars of purple Khao, appeared on a rocky crest. He let out a guttural howl that made the last jade columns of the ruined palace collapse.
Yi Lan materialized at BaiShe’s side, her nine fox tails waving with morbid excitement. She rubbed her opulent chest against BaiShe’s arm, her pink sapphire eyes shining with yandere obsession.
"Oh, darling... Look at these impatient little beasts," she murmured, her peach blossom-scented breath caressing BaiShe’s cheek. "They all want a piece of the future sovereign of the Realms. Should I turn them into mirror shards to decorate our love nest?"
BaiShe did not let himself be distracted by the fox’s advances.
"No, Lan’er. We are not simply going to massacre them," he declared, a carnivorous smile stretching his lips. "We need a culprit for the death of the Executor. Zhi Mei must never suspect my true nature, nor yours."
Yi Lan giggled, her sharp nails tracing circles on her master’s tunic.
"I see... I love it when you are so Machiavellian, my love. What is the plan?"

The air south of the ruins had become unbreathable, not because of the altitude, but because of the extreme saturation of Khao, that putrid energy unique to the Rakshasas. Xuan BaiShe stood alone in the center of a devastated clearing, his hands clasped behind his back in his usual posture of a nonchalant young scholar. Yet, for the first time since his regression, a slight crease of annoyance furrowed his jade forehead. His sage monocle reflected the violet glow emanating from the depths of the forest, where hundreds of massive silhouettes were beginning to emerge from the shadows.
They were five-horned Rakshasas, elite specimens whose individual power rivaled that of a Law Master. Their porcelain masks shone with a sinister gleam under the moon, and the predatory instinct emanating from them created a spiritual pressure capable of crushing any ordinary cultivator.
"You seem quite impatient to return to nothingness," murmured BaiShe in a melodious voice that contrasted with the guttural growls of his opponents.
’My Dantian is still unstable after the massive absorption of the Executor’s essence,’ he thought, feeling an erratic heat circulate in his meridians. ’I did not have time to stabilize Huojin’s Qi, and these bags of putrefied meat are arriving at the worst moment, but it does not matter... ’
The pack leader, a Rakshasa whose mask was crossed by a scar of pure Khao, took a step forward.
Without waiting, the Rakshasas charged in unison. The impact was preceded by a rain of purple Khao lasers projected from their masks. BaiShe reacted with fluidity.
< Arts : Myriad Illusory Swords >
’ Strangely, I could use this art back then, I wonder what link I had with the Sword Demoness... ’
Hundreds of translucent blades, composed of silver Qi, materialized instantly around him.
They formed a protective whirlwind that deflected the Khao lasers in explosions of violet light, plowing the ground and pulverizing the petrified trees. However, the pressure was constant. The five-horned Rakshasas did not retreat; they used their own bodies as shields to reduce the distance
One of them managed to break a row of illusory swords and launched his claw toward BaiShe’s plexus. The latter dodged by shifting, but he felt a sharp pain cross his Dantian. The instability of his Qi limited his reaction capacity.
[Warning ! Dantian instability detected !]
[The celestial Qi flow is in conflict with the devoured essence.]
[Current power : 65 % of optimal capacities.]
’Tch... If I continue to restrict my original form, these insects will eventually exhaust me,’ coldly analyzed BaiShe while he sliced the throat of an attacker with a Qi blade.
He soon found himself surrounded. The Khao discharges were eroding his defenses one by one.
BaiShe froze, letting his illusory swords dissipate. He closed his eyes for a short moment, calming the beats of his Omega Heart. He no longer had a choice....
He had to use brute force, even if it risked attracting Zhi Mei’s attention.
"You want to see what this body can really offer ?" he murmured, his silver pupils abruptly turning to intense violet.
