Dual Cultivation God Returns-Chapter 984: (R18) Under the canopy of flowers

The Peach Garden was one of the gardens in the back of the mountain of the Main Mansion within Mystic Realm where a small portion of the Sweet Spirit Peach Trees that Wu Long brought in over-abundance from the Sun Shadow Secret Realm, were planted.

At the center of the garden were two very small hills, at the top of one was an old, giant Sweet Spirit Peach Tree and atop the other, a small pavilion.

The weather here was now warm and sunny, contrasting the harsh storms outside the Dream Realm.

Wu Long, walked the main trail of the Peach Garden leading to the pavilion with a smile on his face, anticipating giving the gift to the beauty. Before coming here he thoroughly cleaned and polished it, and even wrapped a big ribbon around it which made him feel a bit like a young kid trying to impress and delight his date.

But as he walked up to the two hills and saw her amid the slowly falling pink petals, all the thoughts about the gift completely left his mind.

Gong Cui stood under the big tree, and, seemingly completely forgetting she could fly, was on her toes, earnestly reaching for a particularly good-looking big peach hanging on one of the branches.

With her rather petite build, she was very far off from actually touching the peach, but her focused and determined expression was so adorable that Wu Long lost all the words he thought he was going to say.

Her Zither was left in the pavilion on the other hill, and he could just picture her practicing, and after by chance noticing this peach, taking a look at it more and more times, until she was so distracted she couldn’t hold back and went to get it.

She felt the familiar and beloved hands grab her thin waist from behind, and her body soared, easily reaching the height more than enough to get to the peach while being sat onto his shoulder.

"Wu Long!!! You’re back!", the pure delight mixed with surprise in her voice as she looked down made his smile even wider.

"Go on and grab it", he chuckled.

"Ah, um", she nodded and reached for the peach with both hands, finally picking it, and then redirecting all of her attention back to Wu Long, "How long have you been back?"

I couldn’t concentrate on my Zither for two hours because of it!", Gong Cui shook her head, proving what he imagined happened was indeed exactly how it happened, making him laugh, which made her giggle as well, "Hehehe, thank you for helping me finally get it... anyway, are you done with things outside?"

"Not completely yet", he shook his head with the same lighthearted and satisfied smile, "But it’s not pressing for now... aren’t you going to take a bite?"

She turned her green eyes to the peach, which made her visibly gulp down, but then she smiled brightly and lowered the peach near his mouth, "Hehe, how about we share it?"

"Sure, I’ll get a taste after you", he chuckled.

She smiled, bringing the peach back up again, and holding it with both hands in front of her, peeked from behind it at him, "You sure? I’ll take a bi~~g bite"

"Hahaha, go ahead"

She didn’t delay and bit into the peach, a drop of juice running down from the corner of her lips, "Mmm~! Sho~ shashty~!"

He waited until she chewed and gulped it down, and then slid her down from his shoulder while turning her to face him, causing her to exclaim in surprise and then laugh, her hands naturally found their way around his neck, and their lips met in a kiss.

The peach with a tiny bite mark on it was now forgotten, hanging in one hand behind his back which rested on top of another, as they kissed.

This time as their lips parted, there was a slightly different look in her green eyes that opened back up, as well as in his. They stared each other in the eyes, and then kissed again, this time more passionately.

He lowered her a bit further down, her feet landing on the ground, as she let go of the peach which fell but then stopped mid-fall, suspended in the air.
