Dreaming Worlds RPG : I'm the weakest one in another world-Chapter 27: Why Is She Always Here?! 26
The next few days, the elf girl became too attached to Nawfi.
She followed him everywhere—when he walked, when he trained, even when he tried to gather herbs.
No matter where he went, she trailed behind him like a silent shadow.
During one of their hunts,
Nawfi found himself surrounded by wild, vicious rabbits.Their red eyes glowed with hostility as they darted toward him with terrifying speed.
He narrowly dodged the first strike, feeling the sharp wind of its claws brush past his face.
[Wild Rabbit – Lv. 40 | Rank: Uncommon]
"Seriously... rabbits are this strong here?"
He stood calm.
’’All the slimes attacked at once.’’
He was commanding some elite slimes.
"Use skeleton card."
[You have used 4× Skeleton Card.]
Four skeletons appeared and rushed forward.
The skeleton wire shot out, piercing straight into the heart of the rabbits one by one.
[You have killed 3 Wild Rabbits.]
"That was dangerous."
All the cards returned to him in a flash of light.
He sighed. If I could use these skeletons more than once...
But he already knew the rule.
I can only use Elite and Epic or higher cards until they die. As for others... they’re one-time use only, he thought in his mind, a bit frustrated.
He looked at the fading bones of the fallen skeleton as they turned into particles and vanished.
"Tch... I need stronger cards."
Bush! Bush! The nearby bushes were trembling.
’’Skeletons, in position.’’
[30 minutes remain to reuse the elite slime cards.]
’’Damn, not now!’’
He raised his sword, staying on guard. Three skeletons stood with him—two at his sides and one in front. The bush ahead was shaking fast.
He was afraid and fully on guard. Suddenly, Elena’s head popped out of the bush and she said,
"Brother?’’
’’aaah! A gh-ghost!"He almost jumped out of his skin, "Elena?! Why are you here?"
"Why?!Elena wants to see you fight," she said with a pout.
"Ah, go back to the cave. It’s not safe here in the forest."
In the afternoon,
Nawfi was practicing very hard with Skull. Skull just stood there, easily avoiding and defending against his sword attacks.
Gulp... glup...
Nawfi was tired and drank a stamina drink.
Then he noticed Elena White hiding beside a tree, watching him. But she wasn’t really hidden—anyone could spot her easily.
During dinner,
she peeked at him from under the table, almost between his legs.
At midnight,
he was sleeping on the bed. He turned from right to left and suddenly woke up.
When he opened his eyes, Elena was there, staring at him from very close.
"Ah..." he gasped. A ghost...?
During another hunt,
he got some strong monster cards and laughed quietly to himself, a little creepy, due to the effect of his gloomy character ability . Then he noticed Elena hanging from a tree like a bat.
When he went to the toilet,
he saw Elena staring at him from above the door.
"Huh... Don’t tell me you want to watch your brother pee?" he muttered, exhausted from her behavior.
After hearing his words, she ran off, keeping both hands straight down, not a smile on her face.
What kind of creature is she...? he thought, irritated.
The next morning, he was practicing with his sword. Yah! Shoowh! Yah! Shoowh!
Skull stood nearby, quietly observing his training.
Elena, with her usual dreamy expression, was jumping around, trying to catch a butterfly.
Kek. Skull signaled him to stop.
"Is something wrong, Skull?" Nawfi asked.
Skull asked him to watch carefully, to see what he would do. Then Skull stepped forward and picked up Nawfi’s sword from the ground. He pointed it downward and stood completely still, his focus absolute. From his fleshless teeth, a faint red aura began to glow, as if he were breathing out pure power.
A heavy pressure pressed down on Nawfi. The sword suddenly shimmered with a red-like beam. Without warning, Skull sliced through the air—like he was cutting the air itself. Unrealistic... if this happened on Earth, no one would believe it.
Nawfi was both shocked and amazed.Skull asked him to try it.
Nawfi stepped forward and grabbed the sword. He closed his eyes and pointed it downward, just like Skull. He tried to focus, to concentrate.
Yah...! He struck the air—but nothing happened.
Yah...! He tried again. Still nothing.
He kept trying, over and over, refusing to give up.
It was evening, almost dusk. He was completely exhausted.
"Huh... hu... huh..." He panted, trying to catch his breath.
Skull watched his training quietly from behind a tree.
He started to walk away, feeling frustrated and useless.
No... I can’t give up now.
This time, he focused with all his concentration, determined to make it work.
In his mind, old memories began to flow.
Hey man, why are you so gloomy today? I mean... you seem gloomier than usual.
Elena stared at him blankly, like something was about to happen.
You’re alone, as usual. Let’s go.
The sword in his hand began to glow intensely. Skull looked at him.
Are you okay?
The aura of the sword shone bright azure. Both Skull and Elena stared at him, their eyes wide with awe. Nawfi was sweating, but he tried to calm himself.
Don’t worry... it will be fine.
The sword seemed to vibrate in his hand.
I like you too, Ichiro-san...
He poured all his strength and emotions into the strike, swinging the sword through the air.
Yah... swoohur...!
The strike sent vibrations through the entire space. The sword cut the air with terrifying force, leaving a trail of raw power.
He looked at Elena and Skull. Both of them were shocked. It was almost as if Skull’s soul had poured out from his eyes. Elena felt like she was seeing a dead soul in heaven.

[Your stamina is low.]
The world blurred around him, and he collapsed, unconscious.
Elena and Skull immediately rushed forward and caught him.
