However, Liam had already vanished by the time the Goblin swung its massive fist, narrowly missing its target. The blue hue dissipated, leaving behind an empty space where Liam once stood. The Goblin's enraged roar echoed through the chamber, a testament to its frustration at being denied its prey.

Just then, a purple-haired girl approached him, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. "Uh, hello, are you Liam Noir?" she asked, her voice sweet and melodious.

Liam's gaze swept over her, taking in her black battle suit adorned with armor plating and the insignia of a red bird-like creature with its wings spread emblazoned on her chest. His mind flashed with recognition - Phoenix Guild!

He struggled to maintain his neutral expression, not wanting to reveal his surprise or interest.
