Don't Mess with That Dragon-Chapter 460 - 14 Arcane Ruins
If it were possible to mass-produce strong individuals, especially those who have comprehended the Law and reached Half-Legendary or even Legendary status, it would undoubtedly be of enormous significance for the Dragon Nest Tribe.
However, this matter cannot be rushed and needs to be approached slowly.
Just the Law Origin alone is not something that can be easily collected.
After slaying the Snake Demon Leader, Austin did not leave.
In the previous great battle, all the Exotic Snakes within a ten-mile radius had been shaken to death, and the ground had collapsed, leaving a massive pit.
On the outskirts of Stone Peak Forest, the Dragon Nest Legion was advancing, sweeping away the Exotic Snakes running around like headless flies, shattering the obstructing stone peaks, and clearing a safe path.
Austin’s gaze suddenly focused on a particular spot at the edge of the pit below.
There, an aura of mystery lingered.
It connected to a giant opening.
At the same time, Austin sensed a vast Magic Power seemed to be hidden beneath the earth.
Austin’s eyes flickered.
The Exotic Snake group wouldn’t gather in a place for no reason, nor would a barren place easily nurture a Legendary level Snake Demon Leader.
Moreover, that Legendary level Snake Demon Leader seemed to have no intelligence?
There must be something strange going on.
Thinking of this, Austin descended.
As his massive body descended, it rapidly shrank, reducing to more than ten times smaller than its original size, becoming as small as a human.
However, even though his body shrank.
His strength did not diminish in the slightest.
The dark blue scales shimmered, possessing an indestructible defense.
The bulging dragon muscles contained explosive Power.
The shrunken body fell, cutting through the rising air currents and smoke, and flew into the giant mysterious opening.
Like passing through a series of underground caves, reaching the end of the cave passages, Austin arrived at an unknown metallic door.
This unknown alloy door had a massive hole broken into it, embedded into the rock layer behind.
The surrounding area was connected with jagged metal walls, as if a spaceship in space had been forcibly torn apart and then rammed into the earth, leaving only the jagged sections exposed.
"Hmm? These things...."
Austin’s form hovered in mid-air as if he had lost gravity, gazing at the unknown structure before him, his eyes flickering.
These constructs clearly could not be the work of the Exotic Snake group.
Moreover, he sensed a strong magical fluctuation from deep within the shattered metal door.
It seemed that the Snake Demon Leader’s ability to advance to Legendary, without a hint of intelligence, was significantly connected to this.
"Hard alloy, and this style, who could have built this? What is its true form?" 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂
Austin’s sharp claws scratched the alloy door’s massive hole, producing a piercing screech, but even with Austin’s mighty and sharp physical form, he could only leave fine marks on it.
Considering Austin’s current state, even real steel was as soft as tofu.
One can imagine the hardness of this unknown alloy.
"Could they have left behind ruins?"
A vague guess formed.
After that, without lingering, his form went through the hole in the door, flying inward.
Like an interstellar spaceship scene from a sci-fi movie from his past life, filled with a colorful sci-fi atmosphere.
However, the sci-fi space around had suffered severe damage.
Traces of battle were everywhere.
The central white metal pillars were all destroyed and collapsed; who knows to what extent the battles reached back in those days to cause such a scene today.
Searching around, besides the fragments on the ground, there were countless miscellaneous items scattered.
These miscellaneous items seemed to be Demonic Artifact items made with some unknown technology, somewhat akin to the few Magic Artifacts Austin seized before his rise.
Back then, during his rise in the desolate mountains, Austin seized a ring Demonic Artifact capable of releasing the Flame Burst Technique.
Later, using this as a clue, he found the ruins of a Gold Level archaeological Great Mage and found two other Demonic Artifacts within.
With the subsequent development of the Dragon Nest Tribe, these Demonic Artifacts gradually retreated from the forefront.
But Austin still remembered those things.
Now, the style of the scattered miscellaneous tools around seemed somewhat similar to those Demonic Artifacts.
This confirmed certain thoughts Austin had in his mind.
"Is this a ruin left by an Arcane Mage? But why is the surrounding area constructed like Space City..."
With questions in mind, Austin explored forward.
About thirty minutes later,
he found a relatively well-preserved room.
Somewhat like a command center in a spaceship, the furnishings around were evidently more luxurious than those outer rooms.
Opening the door, the surroundings were in chaos.
After being idle for countless years, even the flowing table was covered in dust.
Those screens like glass, their purposes unknown, were all shattered on the ground.
Austin looked around.
From the clutter on the ground, he found a notebook.
Flipping it open,
fortunately, he could understand the words inside.
"Arcane Era 3291, great, I passed Subject Four and am now considered an officially verified Arcane Mage..."
"Arcane Era 3298, Labrus University truly deserves its reputation as a world-class Arcane University; I still have so much to learn..."
It seemed to be a personal diary of an Arcane Mage, recording various trivial matters.
Starting from passing the exam to becoming an Arcane Mage, to entering university, then further studies due to outstanding grades... ultimately becoming a peripheral researcher of the Arcane Council.
The Arcane Council, an enormous organization.
Back then, they ruled over the Multi-universe, reputedly sharing the power under the Starry Sky with the Divine.
One can imagine how colossal this organization was.
During the thriving Arcane Era, the Arcane Council had almost over a hundred thousand peripheral researchers.
It is no wonder that they eventually clashed with the Divine, culminating in the great battle known as the Twilight of the Gods. Although the Arcane Era eventually perished, most of the Divine fell, and for millennia afterwards, the surviving Divine were in a state of slumber, disappearing from the world.
However, even though the Arcane Council was so mighty, Austin still had a deep sense of doubt about the Gate of Truth, said to embody the highest achievements of the Arcane Council.
Only by personally experiencing the Power of the Gate of Truth could Austin have a deeper understanding.
Multi-universe, Crystal Wall System,
are these two concepts the same?
