“Ah…ha!” William Griffith suddenly let out a painful grimace! His bloodshot eyes suddenly opened wide and stared straight at Cherish Turner, who was also looking at him!
Seeing his gaze, Cherish paused inexplicably and didn’t dare get closer.

When Julian Brown entered the room, he saw such a scene.

When William was sent to the hospital twice, none of the Griffith Family came.
The first time, she didn’t have the Griffith family’s contact information. The second time, she intended to have William receive treatment first, but soon after, this man appeared.
He said his name was Julian Brown.
This man exuded the same aura as William, fierce and unstoppable.
“Miss Turner, it’s getting late. I’ve asked the driver to take you home first. William won’t wake up anytime soon,” Julian said decisively, allowing no disagreement.
But leaving like this, Cherish was clearly worried.
“Mr. Brown!”
Julian’s gaze swept over her, causing Cherish to stop in her tracks.
This man was dangerous.
“What happened to him? Is it serious? When I called the ambulance, William’s face was pale, and he had completely lost consciousness. Can a grown man just collapse like this for no reason?”
Julian gave a shallow smile, “Don’t worry, Miss Turner. This is an old issue. When he wakes up, I’ll inform you first.”
It was not appropriate for Cherish to say anything more. Presumably, this man had a good relationship with William, so he appeared as soon as he collapsed, to visit him.
However, there were still doubts left unanswered in her heart.
“Mr. Brown, I never introduced myself. How did you know my last name is Turner?”
When he first appeared, he called her Miss Turner.
“William mentioned you.” With a simple explanation, Cherish felt relieved but still felt that something was off.
Did William really mention her? And if so, why?
Recalling his behavior towards her, Cherish’s thoughts were a mess. Was he serious about her?
Did he approach her not as a joke, but because he actually liked her?
With these questions in mind, Cherish had no choice but to leave; however, she couldn’t stop thinking about the photo in his study that was clearly of her younger self. How did William have that photo?
Had they known each other before? Or was he investigating her?
And if it was an investigation, why?

When William woke up, he saw a well-dressed man standing by the window of the VIP ward’s sofa talking on the phone.
He recognized the figure just by a single glance.
