With tears in her eyes, Nie Qiqi went to the front door and opened it. An old man appeared before her—it was her master.

The old man watched as Nie Qiqi cried her eyes out. He gently patted her on the head.

"What's wrong? Qiqi, why are you crying like this? Tell me, did someone bully you?" he asked softly. "If someone bullied you, I'll go sort them out!"
