Hearing this, Liu Ergou's hair stood on end. Since when did Lu Shuangyue learn such ruthless tactics? This is terrifying!

He immediately promised, "Don't worry! I don't need half an hour. I'll be there in 20 minutes, tops. Wait for me!"

With that, Liu Ergou hung up. He said a quick goodbye to Lu Xiaoyu, then turned and got back into his car. He started the engine and sped straight toward Orange Bear's company.

To avoid sleeping alone, Liu Ergou floored it, wishing he could ram the pedal right through the floorboard.

Racing against the clock, Liu Ergou managed to arrive at Orange Bear's company in just 15 minutes. Of course, even while racing against time, Liu Ergou didn't break any laws. His speed never once exceeded the limit.

Standing downstairs from Orange Bear's company building, Liu Ergou couldn't help but wipe the sweat from his forehead. I finally made it, and so much earlier than I had to.

With that thought, he headed straight upstairs and soon reached the top floor. When he reached the door to Orange Bear's office, Liu Ergou took several deep breaths to calm himself before pushing the door open and walking inside.

He saw Orange Bear, Lu Shuangyue, and He Mingxue sitting there chatting.

When Lu Shuangyue saw Liu Ergou enter, she said in surprise, "Er Gou, I'm surprised you got here so fast! I was sure you'd be late."

Liu Ergou replied with a smile, "How could I possibly be late? You said if I was, I'd have to sleep alone. The mere thought of that scared me so much I practically stomped the gas pedal into the engine! I rushed over so I wouldn't be late!"

His words made everyone laugh. After sharing a laugh, the four of them quickly got down to business.

Liu Ergou took a seat on the sofa and said with a serious expression, "Alright, jokes aside. It's time to talk about Snow Skin Cream. Shuang Yue told me on the phone that we need to start selling the second batch. So, do we have enough inventory?"

As he spoke, he turned to look at Lu Shuangyue.

Seeing his gaze, Lu Shuangyue immediately nodded. "I've already called the factory. After a stock check, our inventory is more than ample this time around. If we sell it like we did last time, we have more than enough stock. We could even go with a brick-and-mortar retail model!"

Hearing "brick-and-mortar," Liu Ergou shook his head. "We can't go with brick-and-mortar. The overhead is too high, and we could easily lose money if things go wrong. Selling online is better; the costs are much lower."

After discussing Snow Skin Cream, another thought occurred to Liu Ergou. "By the way, what about the other products?" he asked. "How's the stock for those?"

"I asked about that too. Everything is very well-stocked," Lu Shuangyue replied. "You can rest assured on the inventory front. There definitely won't be any problems."

Seeing Lu Shuangyue's confidence, Liu Ergou didn't press further and turned to Orange Bear instead. "Orange, I'm a bit worried about selling the new products. Do you think people will actually buy them?"

Orange Bear patted his chest. "Don't worry, Er Gou. I already thought about that, so I conducted a survey in advance. The survey responses show that many people are looking forward to our new items. When Liu Ergou heard what the issue was, he let out a long sigh of relief. "Hah, is that all? I was worried it was something serious! Don't worry about those online trolls. Our Snow Skin Cream is certified, so there can't be anything wrong with it. If they think there's a real problem, let them take it to a lab for testing. They can come to us when they have an official report!"

Hearing this, Orange Bear still seemed a bit uneasy. "Ah? Er Gou, are you sure that's a good idea? What if those people actually sue us? That could turn into a huge mess!"
