Chapter 674: Chapter 677: That’s it?

Of course, he had tried to stop him, but he had failed.

The only reason I failed is that the man before me is on a completely different level, he thought. That’s why I couldn’t stop him.

Besides, the shattered dice now proved the man was right about them being loaded. Even with a thousand mouths, One-Eyed Dragon knew he couldn’t talk his way out of this. As the thought crossed his mind, even more cold sweat beaded on his forehead.

Seeing One-Eyed Dragon’s expression, Liu Ergou had no intention of letting him off the hook and continued to press him.

"Hurry up! Open the dice cup and stop wasting my time. Everyone’s watching. What, can’t afford to lose? Trying to welch on the bet?"

Under the intense stares of the crowd and Liu Ergou’s relentless urging, One-Eyed Dragon could no longer stall. He gritted his teeth and lifted the dice cup.

Inside, the three dice had been shattered into pieces. Yet, even though they were broken, the faces showing six dots were completely unharmed and pointing upward.

Seeing this, One-Eyed Dragon was truly terrified. He had assumed the dice would be completely obliterated, but he never imagined that their faces would be preserved so perfectly. Just how powerful is this man?

Before One-Eyed Dragon could say anything, Liu Ergou pointed at the dice and announced, "See? The dice are broken, but all three are showing sixes. That means I win! All these chips are mine now!"

As he spoke, Liu Ergou opened his arms and swept all the chips on the table to his side. The other gamblers saw this and immediately moved to retrieve their own chips.

One-Eyed Dragon knew that if things continued, his losses would be irreparable. At this point, it was better to just have a showdown. With that thought, he slammed his hand on the table and roared at the crowd, "I dare anyone to touch the chips on this table!"

"This kid is a cheater! He didn’t just cheat this one time—he’s cheated for eleven straight rounds! All results are void!"

Holding the chips, Liu Ergou let out a cold laugh. So he’s finally showing his true colors. I’ve been waiting for this for so long. He’s certainly more patient than I would have been; I would’ve lost my cool and flipped out ages ago. I’m surprised he lasted this long.

Before Liu Ergou could think any further, One-Eyed Dragon had already pulled out a walkie-talkie. "All you experts, get out here!" he barked into it. "I’ve fed you for so long, it’s time you earned your keep!"

As soon as his voice fell, the casino doors burst open. A dozen men in black suits rushed over from the entrance. They went straight for Liu Ergou and surrounded him.

Looking at the men, Liu Ergou couldn’t help but roast them. "What’s with all the black suits these days? Don’t you guys own any other clothes? You think you’re 007 or something? Does wearing a black suit make you look cool? Seriously, I’m speechless."

Of course, no one paid any mind to his sarcasm.

One-Eyed Dragon watched him and said, "Kid, you still have time to admit you cheated. If you confess now, we’ll just take back the chips and let bygones be bygones. But if you don’t, I can’t guarantee what will happen next. I know you can fight, but you’re badly outnumbered. Two fists are no match for four hands. I suggest you think carefully before you make a move!"

As soon as One-Eyed Dragon finished speaking, the men in black suits tightened their circle, closing in on Liu Ergou.

However, Liu Ergou showed not a hint of panic. "Tsk, I’ve never seen anything like it. A casino owner who’s a sore loser... how interesting. Now you’re accusing your own customer of cheating? Looks like your establishment is on the verge of bankruptcy! Besides, I’ve already spent tens of thousands in here. Give me that money back, and I *might* consider your offer."

One-Eyed Dragon’s face darkened, and he let out a cold scoff. "Heh, you dare to bargain with me? No holding back! I want this brat completely crippled! Anyone who slacks off can get lost tomorrow!"

At his command, the men in black suits around Liu Ergou didn’t hesitate for a second. They swung their fists, rushing in to attack. The lead punch was so powerful that Liu Ergou could hear it whooshing through the air before it even got close.

But Liu Ergou had no intention of dodging. A punch like that could hardly hurt him.

Seeing Liu Ergou stand motionless, One-Eyed Dragon assumed he was frozen in fear. A smirk crept onto his lips. But his grin didn’t even last three seconds before he was left dumbfounded.

Just as the fist was about to land, Liu Ergou sidestepped it with effortless grace. Then, he launched himself into the air, driving a kick straight into the stomach of one of the men. The force of the blow sent the man flying backward, where he crashed against the wall, his head lolling to the side as he lost consciousness.

One-Eyed Dragon’s face twitched as he watched this astonishing display of power. Good thing I didn’t rush in myself, he thought. Otherwise, I’d be the one sent flying right now. Thinking this, he couldn’t help but wipe the cold sweat from his arms. 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶

After sending the first man flying, Liu Ergou didn’t stop. He raised his fists, delivering a single, precise punch to each of the dozen or so men in black surrounding him. With a dozen punches thrown, all of them lay on the ground, unconscious.

Only after Liu Ergou had finished did One-Eyed Dragon snap out of his stupor. But by then, it was far too late.

Flexing his wrists, Liu Ergou walked step-by-step toward One-Eyed Dragon. As he walked, he spoke, "Your men aren’t so tough after all. They can’t even take a punch. I barely hit them and they all went down. How boring. I thought you guys would be a challenge with all that bluster, but you’re just all show and no go. What a waste of those nice black suits."

By the time he finished speaking, Liu Ergou was standing right in front of One-Eyed Dragon.

Staring at the man before him, One-Eyed Dragon was so terrified he couldn’t help but swallow hard. Trembling, he stammered, "Kid, don’t think you’re so great just because you can fight! You’ve got some nerve causing trouble here. Don’t you know what this place is?!"
