Divorce, Please: The Young Master Does Not Love Me-Chapter 11: Reporters
Listening to Tristan Grayson, her eyes red, she retorted, "I didn’t contact any reporters."
"You think I’d believe anything a woman like you says?"
"Whether you believe me or not, I didn’t do it, and that’s that—"
Before she could finish yelling, he had already hung up.
She curled up on the sofa, hugging herself as she began to cry. ’Why does Tristan Grayson have to slander me like this? Just because I love him, does that mean I have to be inferior to him?’

In the hospital room, Maggie Monroe scrolled through her phone, her face growing increasingly pale.
She desperately didn’t want to believe it was true.
But Tristan’s recent behavior had indeed made her suspicious.
In the past, even when Tristan was on the phone with that woman, he wouldn’t leave the room to take the call. But now, whenever his phone rang, he would step out to answer it. 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺
’I don’t want to be suspicious. As a dying woman, I have no right to interfere in Tristan’s life. Sooner or later, he’ll marry someone else anyway.’
’I just never thought Tristan would spend the night at that woman’s house!’
’Aren’t they divorced? Why would Tristan still go to her house?’
"Maggie Monroe, look who’s here."
Tristan Grayson’s voice suddenly rang out. Her face pale, Maggie Monroe stuffed the phone under her pillow and pretended to be asleep.
’I can’t open my eyes. I’m afraid I won’t be able to stop myself from questioning Tristan.’
’I have nothing left now. I can’t lose Tristan. No matter what, I can’t lose him.’
"Maggie..."
Just as Aiden Avery peeked his head in, Tristan Grayson pushed him back. "Shh! She’s still sleeping. Let’s go talk outside!"
Outside the hospital room, Tristan Grayson and Aiden Avery sat on a bench in the hallway, discussing the paparazzi incident from earlier that day.
"Tristan, maybe she really didn’t do it."
"You’ve never even met the woman, so how can you be so sure she didn’t do it? A woman like her would do anything for money."
"I’m not saying I’m certain, I just don’t think she had any reason to do this. You said it yourself, she’s all about the money. If she wanted money, why wouldn’t she just ask you for it directly?"
"Maybe she wanted more money."
Aiden Avery didn’t want to argue anymore. He knew that no matter how he tried to explain, Tristan would remain convinced that woman was behind it.
’In Tristan’s eyes, there probably isn’t a single good woman in the world besides Maggie.’

Just as Mika Summers was grieving on the sofa, there was a knock at the door.
She got up to open the door, but then she heard Sheldon Rhodes’s voice.
She checked the security monitor and saw a crowd of reporters camped out in front of her door, with Sheldon Rhodes trying to drive them away.
No matter what Sheldon Rhodes said, they refused to leave.
Then, she saw Sheldon Rhodes take out his phone and make a call. A moment later, a large group of men in black arrived, looking menacing.
They seized the group of reporters and forcibly threw them out.
’I have to admit,’ she thought, ’seeing Sheldon Rhodes drive those reporters away, he actually looked quite handsome, very manly!’
"Miss Summers," Sheldon Rhodes suddenly said, speaking to the security camera, "Young Master Grayson said that you should not leave the house for the next few days."
"Oh, I know," she replied coolly.
Just as she was about to turn away, Sheldon Rhodes spoke again. "Young Master Grayson also said that if Miss Summers feels a hundred million isn’t enough, she can name her price. His biggest flaw, you see, is having too much money."
