Divine-level Base-Chapter 57: Slaying the King of Goblins

SWOOSH!

With the twang of a bowstring, Camilla loosed an arrow that shot toward the Goblin King’s eye like a falling star.

The Goblin King moved like lightning, deflecting Camilla’s arrow with a flick of its Steel Axe.

A Goblin Leader seized the opportunity to rush forward, swinging its battle-axe viciously at the Goblin King.

The Goblin King sidestepped slightly to dodge the Goblin Leader’s axe, then brought its own down in a smooth motion, cleaving the Goblin Leader in two from head to toe. A torrent of blood erupted from the fallen goblin’s body.

"Dizziness Technique!"

A Goblin Shaman holding a Magic Staff pointed it at the Goblin King.

A gray haze descended upon the Goblin King, but wisps of black Power of Void Demon emerged from its body, neutralizing the Magic’s effect.

Shu Feng frowned slightly. ’Its Magic Resistance is so high!’

That Goblin Shaman was too weak. Its Magic was not powerful enough to affect a strong creature of the Goblin King’s Level.

A Black Dog Void Demon took the chance to pounce, sinking its teeth viciously into the Goblin King’s calf. Its sharp fangs pierced through the armor on the Goblin King’s right leg.

A ferocious glint flashed in the Goblin King’s eyes as it swung its Steel Axe, slicing the Black Dog Void Demon in two with a single strike.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

Shu Feng switched to Armor-Piercing Bullets and fired at the Goblin King.

The Armor-Piercing Bullets slammed into the Goblin King’s body, penetrating its Protective Heavy Armor and kicking up sprays of blood.

An ordinary person would be critically injured, if not killed, by a single Armor-Piercing Bullet. But a vicious light flared in the Goblin King’s eyes. It withstood the attack from Shu Feng a hundred meters away, grabbed a battle-axe from its waist, and threw it with all its might.

’This is bad!’

A sense of danger welled up in Shu Feng’s heart, and he threw himself into a roll with all his strength.

Three Black Dog Void Demons guarding Shu Feng leaped into the air, intercepting the thrown axe.

The battle-axe smashed into one of the Black Dog Void Demons, driving straight through its body and crashing heavily into Shu Feng.

He felt as if he’d been hit by a siege ram, collapsing to the ground and spitting out a large mouthful of blood. If not for his physical constitution, which was comparable to a Spirit Warrior-level Black Dog Void Demon, and the fact that he had activated his Spirit Shield Technique, he would have been severely wounded, if not killed, even with the Black Dog Void Demon blocking for him.

CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!

A dozen arrows fired by goblins struck the Goblin King, only to be deflected by its Protective Heavy Armor.

SWOOSH!

An arrow shot out like a meteor and plunged into one of the wounds Shu Feng had inflicted on the Goblin King, causing a splash of blood.

"Spider Web Technique!"

A Goblin Shaman pointed its scepter.

A faint ripple of Magic flashed, and a white spider web materialized out of thin air, sweeping toward the Goblin King.

A savage glint appeared in the Goblin King’s eyes. It swung its battle-axe in a crazed flurry, channeling wisps of black Power of Void Demon to form short blades of light from its axe, which sliced the white spider web to pieces.

Three Black Dog Void Demons seized the chance to lunge forward, clamping their jaws fiercely onto the Goblin King’s calves and holding on tight.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

Shu Feng took the opportunity to open fire wildly, emptying his remaining Armor-Piercing Bullets and causing small sprays of blood to erupt from the Goblin King’s body.

The Goblin King swung its battle-axe in a mad frenzy, hacking the three Black Dog Void Demons surrounding it into pieces.

SWOOSH!!

An arrow streaked through the air like a meteor and pierced straight into the Goblin King’s eye. Blood splattered out.

The Goblin King let out a pained shriek and, in a berserk rage, swung its battle-axe, crazily slaughtering the goblins in its path as it charged toward Camilla.

An icy killing intent flashed in Camilla’s eyes as she leaped nimbly backward, putting distance between herself and the Goblin King.

"Slowdown Technique!"

Just then, from within the crowd, the Goblin Shaman protected by the Goblin Leaders suddenly pointed at Camilla, and a gray light enveloped her.

Camilla’s body trembled slightly. It felt as if a great mountain was weighing her down, and her movements became incredibly sluggish. She was not a true Hero, after all, nor was her Level high enough to possess the terrifying Magic Resistance of a High-Level Hero.

A vicious glint flashed in the Goblin King’s eyes as it pulled out a Hand Axe and threw it with all its might.

The Hand Axe shot like a meteor and slammed into Camilla from three hundred meters away, embedding itself in her body and sending her flying over ten meters. Her breathing stopped.

"Weak and Powerless!"

One of the Goblin Shamans under Shu Feng’s command pointed at that Goblin Leader. A gray light flashed, and the Goblin Leader’s body shuddered, its reactions becoming sluggish as it grew exhausted and weak.

A Black Dog Void Demon took the opportunity to pounce, tackling the Goblin Leader to the ground.

Another Black Dog Void Demon rushed forward, knocking the Goblin Shaman to the ground and tearing out its throat with a single bite.

The Goblin King let out a savage grin. It completely ignored the battle behind it, swung its battle-axe to cut down the monsters in its way, and charged straight for Shu Feng.

’Demon-breaking!!’ 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝘸𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝘰𝓂

Shu Feng gritted his teeth, took out a Demon-Breaking Bullet, loaded it into the magazine, and pulled the trigger on the Goblin King.

BANG!

A Demon-Breaking Bullet flew out and slammed directly into the Goblin King’s left abdomen. The Heavy Armor on the Goblin King flashed with a black light, which then immediately died out.

The Demon-Breaking Bullet pierced the Goblin King’s Heavy Armor and embedded itself in its body.

"No!! It hurts!!"

The Goblin King let out a piercing scream. Wisps of black smoke began to rise from its entire body as it struggled and trembled violently.

Demon-Breaking Bullets contain gold essence, a precious Anti-Magic Material refined from Gold. To Void Demons, it is the deadliest of poisons. It was also one of Shu Feng’s hidden trump cards.

An ordinary Spirit Warrior-Level Void Demon hit by a single Demon-Breaking Bullet would have absolutely no chance of survival. This was the terrifying power of a Blue Star Spirit Spear Master.

"Heart Moon Swordsmanship, Moon Flash!"

Ding Xiaoxue dashed forward, her Spiritual Power boiling. She swung her sword, and for a moment, it was as if a full moon had risen into the sky, flashing past the Goblin King’s head.

The Goblin King’s head flew high into the air before falling to the ground. A torrent of blood gushed from its headless corpse, scattering across the earth.

A Black Dog Void Demon immediately pounced, crushing the large spider that was crawling out from the Goblin King’s back in a single bite.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

With the Goblin King dead, Shu Feng immediately resumed firing, unleashing a volley of Blast Bullets into the army of Parasitic Spider Demons, blasting them to pieces one by one.
