The Labyrinth of Ashura collasped, ushering Lenny back into the Fallen Realm.

Lenny breathed in deeply, the sky was still dark, this was an eerie landscape, no fireflies were spotted.

The night remained cold and unholy as always.

The cave they had ventured into was already gone. With no trace of it’s existence found.

Lenny scanned through the vicinity, his eyes flickered "No Apocalypse creatures" He felt relieved.

He wasn’t the only one who had ventured into the Labyrinth of Ashura.

But was the only one who made it out alive from the D-tier Dungeon.

Naturally Lenny would have felt sad and angry for losing his teammates.

But he was empty inside.

He couldn’t care less about their deaths.

He was planning on killing them in the first place.

Lenny felt alive, having his body repaired to his peak condition by his Self Regeneration.

Journeying through the vast and ghastly mountains, his movements came to a sudden halt. 𝘧𝘳𝘦ℯ𝓌𝘦𝒷𝘯𝑜𝑣𝘦𝓁.𝒸𝘰𝓂

Lenny hesitated as he began assessing himself and his gains "Firstly I fully mastered the Shadow Clone and evolved it into Shadow Familiar"

"Secondly I accumulated the necessary SP to climb the three stages and prepare for my evolution to Rank 2"

"But evolving quickly isn’t too good, I will need to wait until I return back to Earth before evolving"

"Thirdly my mastery of the Rune of Flames has increased after I transferred it to X" Lenny exhaled a soft sigh.

"I can easily increase my Rune Mastery by having X do the hard work for me" His lips curled faintly.

Lenny lingered for a moment before continuing "And fourthly, I looted a total of a hundred and forty mana stones and mana crystals"

"Spoils from the Labyrinth of Ashura, I still don’t know what killed them but that doesn’t mean I shouldn’t enrich myself" Lenny giggled.

He raised his head, staring directly into the crimson moon "And lastly, it seems I don’t even know everything about my own family"

"The mysteries of the Night is as vast as the Fallen sea" He sighed.

"My Fallen Relics are still in their best shape, but I will should sell Myraid Shooters and purchase a more efficient grade 2 Fallen Relics for X"

Lenny had reaped alot of benefits during this short expedition, he had more than a hundred mana stones.

And tens of mana crystals kept in his dimension storage.

Ready to be devoured or sold to the Regulator’s Association or the black market.

Lenny resumed his journey, he could see the Forest of Anarky from the distance "Cultivating with this mana stones and mana crystals should gift me more than two hundred years worth of lifespan right?"

"But also more than $100,000 if I were to sell them all" He paused for a second, he could be seen scratching his bushy hair.

"Do I really need to live a long life?" Lenny’s eyebrows furrowed, "I really need that money"

He was still deeply contemplating how he should use this spoils.

The second he stepped into outskirts of the Forest of Anarky, Lenny was completely surrounded by Fallen Regulators.

All armed with their Fallen Relics.

Their faces hidden under the coverage of darkness but Lenny could see them clearly.

Despite the oppressive presence they unleashed against him, Lenny stood unfazed.

His expression remained indifferent "What is the meaning of this?" Lenny calmly asked.

’So fast’ Lenny thought calmly, ’I knew they would come rushing but I never expected them to be this quick’

’Do they have a means to detect their fellow Fallen Regulator’s death?’ Lenny wondered.

"Is it a Fallen Rune or a Fallen Relic?’

His voice reverberated through the air but no Fallen Regulator bothered to answer his question.

They were all members of the Buijun Guild.

They were colleagues to the K&B party, to them, Lenny Night is a stranger, someone who they don’t trust.

Lenny’s gaze assessed them.

’A total of forty-five Fallen Regulators, forty Rank 1 Fallen Regulators and five Rank 2 Fallen Regulators’ Lenny concluded with a smile.

’They’re all filled with bloodlust, one wrong move and they’ll all pounce on me’ He muttered.

"Your name is Lenny Night, am I correct?" A question was asked from the depths of the night.

The one who asked that question was a Rank 2 Fallen Regulator.

He stood as tall as Kennedy but not quite muscular, he held a firm black axe, a grade 2 Fallen Relic.

Despite being completely hidden in the dark, Lenny saw him clearly.

Lenny nodded with a smile "That’s correct, I am Lenny Night" He answered honestly.

The Rank 2 Fallen Regulator sighed softly "I believe you were contracted by the K&B party to participate in a scouting mission, is that correct?" He asked.

Lenny answered with a nod "That is correct"

The Rank 2 Fallen Regulator continued "And where are they?" He asked..

Lenny paused for a second, he was a professional actor, displaying sadness as he faked recalling the incident.

He sighed deeply "They’re dead, all killed by a boss monster" He answered.

"A boss monster?" Another Rank 2 Fallen Regulator interuppted. "What’s there a dungeon found by the K&B party?" He asked.

Lenny nodded "That is correct, Jay had found a D-tier Dungeon hidden in the unexplored region outside the Forest of Anarky"

"I was employed by him for this reason and we fought heavily against the boss monster" Lenny answered, not hiding his sadness.

Mumurs and whispers echoed through the air.

A Rank 1 Fallen Regulator of the Guild decided to speak "If I should remember, another Rank 2 Fallen Regulator joined the team"

"What about her?" The Rank 1 Fallen Regulator asked.

Lenny stammered for a second, "S...she...she’s also dead"

"Huh?" The hidden Fallen Regulators were all shocked by this revelation, not concealing their expressions.

Lenny sighed once again "I speak the truth, I know it’s a D-tier Dungeon but the boss monster also had a twin"

"While she was a Level 8 Wanderer rank Apocalypse creature, her twin was a Level 7 Wanderer rank Apocalypse creature" Lenny collasped on his knees, shivering in fear as he recalled.

He continued "Our calculations was flawed but before we realized it, it was too late"

"Jay and our hero had to sacrifice their lives, giving me a chance to take down the boss monster"

"That was only way for me to escape" Tears flowed down Lenny’s cheeks, as he pretended to shiver.

A sigh echoed from the depths of the night.

And the sounds of approaching footsteps resounded across the woods, emerging into the scene was a Rank 2 Fallen Regulator.

The third Rank 2 Fallen Regulator present.

An elderly man who seems to be in his early sixties, he stared down at Lenny who remained on his knees.

The baritone voice of the Elderly Rank 2 Fallen Regulator reverberated through the air as he spoke "Regardless of the outcome, our guild lost three Rank 1 Fallen Regulators"

"And two Rank 2 Fallen Regulators, we must conduct a thorough investigation regarding this situation"

"If you prove your innocence to us, we’ll release you back to Earth but if we decide you are responsible for the deaths of our people"

Lenny raised his head, he locked eyes with the intimidating Elderly Rank 2 Fallen Regulator.

The elderly Rank 2 Fallen Regulator’s lips curled into a dark grin "Then you’ll suffer a fate worse than death!"
