Chapter 4326 Connection To The Poison Treasure

Davis secluded himself in a chamber.

He brought out the Aurora Jade Soul Pearl and cast a good look at it. It was slightly bigger than the Jade Soul Pearl and radiated different kinds of light like an aurora. He was going to use this to store the Three-Eyed Chromatic Hex Arachnid's True Soul Essence that he plundered from the prisoner.

What he plundered was the true soul essence.

Technically, this soul was still alive, not in the sense that its unique ability could revive it but it is in a state of dormancy.

With his ability in Life Laws, he was sure he could awaken this soul.

It was just like how he once revived the Blazing Thunderlight Kirin's true soul when it was about to disappear, back in the cave where he got together with Niera. Although it was momentary, that was because the true soul essence had already been given away to Zenova Artoria long ago. Hence, the Blazing Thunderlight Kirin died.

However, this true soul essence was still intact.

With his powers, he could get it out of dormancy.

Nonetheless, he wasn't going to do that.

He took the Three-Eyed Chromatic Hex Arachnid's True Soul Essence from his soul sea. It was anchored to Fallen Heaven for the time being, so it did not lose its essence. He then casually inserted it into the Aurora Jade Soul Pearl and it accepted it without much of a disturbance.

'With this and the other Six Dreadful Poison Insects and the Six Grand Nightmare Poison Insects, the Hell Poison Gem's forged treasure should successfully activate...' Davis was intrigued by the poison treasure. Although he didn't get to take a look at it, he wondered why the soul essences of these poisonous magical beast insects were needed.

After he learned about these magical beasts, he did his fair share of digging- with Nightveil's help and learned more about these magical beasts.

The Heart-Piercing Nether Centipede that produced nether poison could be found only in the Nether Dimension like many other species that live there, one such magical beast being the Nether Orb Cobra, which was Azbel now since he had transformed into a Grand Saint Magical Beast.

Information about these beasts was very little.

As far as he knew, it was a dark, segmented centipede with hundreds of needle-like legs coated in corrosive black venom. It thrives in shadowed places, and its venom corrupts both flesh and soul, rendering even the most durable defenses useless. The second was the Soul-Devouring Ghost Moth, which produced yin poison.

It was a translucent moth with phantom-like wings that flickered between existence and illusion. Its body releases a chilling mist that feeds on the souls of living beings. Rumors have it that they exist in the entrance between the Dream Dimension and the real world but no one could tell for sure.

He was honestly surprised that the Six-Headed Hydra managed to find an Emperor-Tier being of this magical beast. He had to admit that he was a good hunter. The third was the Phantom Blood Scorpion, which produced blood poison.

A crimson scorpion with an ethereal tail that appears blurred. Its venom can corrupt bloodlines, erasing inherent talents and powers. This was very similar to the Blood Hex of the Three-Eyed Chromatic Hex Arachnid but much more powerful. It was said to be found mostly in the Asura Dimension but could also exist in other galaxies. As for the fourth, the Three-Eyed Chromatic Hex Arachnid, which produced hex poison, it was quite special.

These arachnids only came to exist in this galaxy from the knowledge of the Xylusc Clan. They didn't know how they came to be but Empress Hexena Xylusc claimed that. they regressed from the Evilbane Hexweaver Arachnid, which lived in the Asura Dimension after she evolved.

He couldn't tell if that was factually correct, but he supposed it was true since they both had hex abilities while other spiders didn't.

As for the fifth, the Devilflame Hell Wasp, which produced flame poison, not much was known about them.

A fiery wasp with six blazing wings, perpetually surrounded by a fiery aura of black and crimson flames. Its sting can ignite both the physical body and soul. It was said they existed in the Asura Dimension and other galaxies. There wasn't much information about them here.

Finally, the Nine-Death Bone Worm, which produced death poison.

It was a pale, almost translucent worm with nine segments, each capable of releasing a different form of deathly poison. It burrows into the bones and feeds on marrow while releasing its lethal toxins. It was one of the smallest magical beasts known to mankind.

It was feared a lot since it is said that they come from the Reincarnation Dimension, and ghost cultivators often try to search for them in order to have a chance at reincarnation. Apparently, it wasn't a sweet ticket for them since they would need to suffer the Ninefold Death Cycle, which causes nine layers of agony, each related to different aspects of death: pain, decay, corruption, exhaustion, paralysis, madness, silence, cold, and ultimate annihilation.

The ghost cultivators would need to endure this in order to become alive once again.

But for people who are alive, this would be a suffering worse than death.

Lastly, it was the Six Grand Nightmare Poison Insects, which were all Grand Saint Magical Beasts.

The King-Tier Evilbane Hexweaver Arachnid was one of them. It belonged to the Asura Dimension.

The other five of them were -

King-Tier Abyssal Netherbane Centipede, whose poison was said to even be capable of affecting Nether Devils and put them to sleep.

King-Tier Nightshroud Phantasm Moth, is a terrifying moth who can trap the victim's soul within a realm of nightmare, feeding off their despair.

King-Tier Bloodshackle Emperor Scorpion.

King-Tier Infernalblaze Sovereign Wasp.

And finally, the King-Tier Ninescourge Bonewyrm.

Not much was known about these beasts since the Six-Headed Hydra claimed that he had actually bought them from spirits or other races in the strangest of places. The same could be said about the Six Dreadful Poison Insects- that he had found them all roaming in other galaxies and not within any dimensions.

He said he had gotten lucky except for the Three-Eyed Chromatic Hex Arachnid, which caused him to wait for so long.

'Most or at least half of these creatures here are connected to the Asura Dimension... could it be that the Hell Poison Gem has some origin there...?"

Davis couldn't help but wonder, slowly descending into a dark hole, feeling that there might be more to this connection than it meets the eye.

========

A day passed.

"They have come."

Mingzhi approached Davis, who had been playing with Tianyu, Noctis, and Ragna.

These three sons of his were a lot to handle.

Davis soundlessly stopped and watched them play for a bit before he quietly disappeared. When the children finally noticed that he was gone, they shrugged and

continued to play.

In the Great Violent Wildlands, the Bloodvine Carnage Tree that occupied this territory for a long time was gone. It had been unearthed and gifted to the Divine

Emperor of Death.

It had gone to Schleya.

The skies above the Great Violent Wildlands were turbulent, streaked with fading red clouds like blood smeared across a canvas. The air, saturated with the scent of lingering death and torn earth from the battle with the Vacuous Beasts, stilled

abruptly.

*Ripp~*

A shadow tore across the heavens.

The massive battleship emerged from the clouds like a raven of doom, its silhouette

long and ghostly.

Pale black in color, it shimmered with a cold metallic sheen that seemed more lifeless than obsidian but not entirely devoid of presence. The ship's surface bore intricate. feather-like patterns, etched runes that softly pulsed with an ominous silver light, and its wings were serrated like reaper's scythes unfurled for war.

Its beak-like prow opened with a mechanical hiss, steam venting in slow, ghostly plumes. The ramp descended with quiet menace, no creak or clang.

From within, seven figures emerged.

They were all women, and each held an aura that bent the air around them as they were Autarchs. They looked regal, quite furious or determined, perhaps even scared as they masked their expressions.

Each of them wore a similar patterned robe, but their colors were different.

The first had white robes that fluttered like snow even in the absence of wind, her

gaze piercing and melancholic. Beside her, a woman in black armor walked barefoot, leaving trails of shadow on the ground. Another had pale green robes made of leaves that never wilted, while one behind her seemed half-shadowed, only glimpses of her

face visible through rippling veils.

All seven of them seemed burdened, as though carrying a cross on their backs as they knew they were here to sacrifice themselves.

They looked towards the distance and saw the Divine Emperor of Death and a black-robed woman waiting with calm and collected expressions. There was also a white-robed woman and a purple-robed woman. Their hearts shook as they recognized they were none other than the Hex Demoness and Fiend Myria.

To see so many of them gathered, their hearts sank.

"Welcome." Davis finally spoke as he saw the beauties. Each of them possessed a regal bearing, making him know that they were all of the nobility and had learned noble etiquette. He panned his gaze at them before his lips moved.

"Where are your seniors? Grand Elders? No one came to help you all?" "Unfortunately," The white-robed woman, whose beauty was plain yet ephemeral, opened her mouth, "The Ghostly Crow Lower Realm is embroiled in an internal dispute, and they have collectively decided to abandon the Ghostly Crow Realm Master. However, no matter what happens, we as his wives will follow him into the reincarnation cycle as our life and death are one."
