Divine Doctor and His CEO Wife-Chapter 116: Hurry up and speak, he’s not moving anymore
Zhu Baixi’s pretty face was deathly pale, and she had completely lost her previous calm and superior demeanor.
Chen Xiao said, "Since you’re so unwilling, it seems I’ll have to do it myself. However, an hour certainly won’t be enough if I have to take matters into my own hands."
With that, there was a loud RRRIP— as Zhu Baixi’s clothes were torn. Her entire body trembled.
"Chen Xiao! Don’t push me too far!"
Anger flared in Chen Xiao’s voice. "You were calling for my head earlier, and now you’ve stolen from me to try and divert the blame! Who’s really pushing things too far here? I am giving you a chance to atone. But you only get one!"
Zhu Baixi thought of her two subordinates, who would return in less than an hour, and her heart clenched violently. She took a deep breath, gritting her teeth. "What do you want?"
Chen Xiao patted his thigh and sat down beside her, his gaze landing on her fiery red lips.
Zhu Baixi swallowed hard. Amidst her humiliation and rage, there was an inexplicable hint of anticipation. Although this man was despicable, he was undeniably well-endowed, a fact she had experienced firsthand.
She lowered her head, her hands trembling slightly. Soon, however, she felt her body heat up, spiraling completely out of her control.
After all... since I’ve already accepted this, I can’t let him enjoy it all by himself!
Gritting her teeth, she finally climbed on top of him.
But Chen Xiao refused to let her have her way, saying coldly, "Did I tell you to do that?"
"You... Chen Xiao, don’t go too far!" Zhu Baixi felt a profound sense of humiliation. She was on the verge, but the man had cruelly stopped her, leaving her entire body aching with an unbearable need.
Feeling a droplet land on his skin, Chen Xiao sneered with disdain. "What a shameless woman. Did you deliberately provoke me just to achieve this result? Was it all premeditated?"
"You’re talking nonsense."
Chen Xiao’s words filled Zhu Baixi with humiliation and shame, but more than that, they sparked a different kind of thrill that came from verbal abuse. She sneered as she lowered herself. "You don’t get to tell me what to do! I, Zhu Baixi, am not some woman you can toy with at your whim!"
Yet, Chen Xiao held her firmly in place, preventing her from moving. Suddenly, her phone rang.
Chen Xiao smiled. "Someone’s looking for you."
Zhu Baixi glanced at her phone, and her breath caught. Her heart nearly stopped. The caller was none other than her husband, the Jiang Family Head, Jiang Zhengfeng!
Feeling as if her heart was about to leap out of her chest, she quickly steadied her breathing and pressed the answer button. If she didn’t pick up now, given the Jiang Family Head’s personality, he would definitely become suspicious. At the same time, she shot Chen Xiao a pleading look.
Chen Xiao merely watched her with a half-smile and patted her lightly.
After several seconds of deadly silence, a cold voice came from the other end of the line. "Why did it take you so long to answer?"
"I just heard it," Zhu Baixi lied, her face perfectly composed. "I was about to rest. Why the sudden call? Is there some—AH!"
Her delicate body suddenly went limp as a wave of fullness washed over her. A dense, numbing tingle spread to every corner of her being, so intense that the arches of her feet tensed up. She shot Chen Xiao a furious glare.
"What’s wrong?" the Family Head of the Jiang Family’s voice asked.
"I... I wasn’t watching where I was going and stumbled a bit," Zhu Baixi managed to say, biting her lip to form a coherent sentence.
The Family Head of the Jiang Family frowned. "You stumbled? But your voice sounded strange just now."
Zhu Baixi panicked for a second before composing herself. She replied coldly, "Jiang Zhengfeng! Have you lost your mind? You can’t perform, and I’ve been living like a widow for you all these years, yet you still have the nerve to suspect me? Fine! I’ll start a video call right now so you can see for yourself if there’s another man here!" Her voice was filled with rage.
Chen Xiao could feel how tense she was, her body constricting around him in a way that was both confining and oddly exhilarating.
"I’ll start the video right now!" Although she felt guilty, Zhu Baixi’s imposing manner never faltered.
This woman is ruthless. How can she be so confident? Chen Xiao’s heart sank.
Seeing how furious and indignant Zhu Baixi sounded, Jiang Zhengfeng lost his confidence. "Bai Xi, don’t be upset. I was just joking. Why are you so worked up?"
Zhu Baixi subtly shifted, leaning forward onto the sofa in a more relaxed-looking posture. She glanced back at Chen Xiao as if by accident, but the meaning in her eyes was unmistakable.
She spoke coldly into the phone again. "How can I not be worked up! Jiang Zhengfeng, you know perfectly well what you are, yet you dare accuse me? How much have I sacrificed for the Jiang Family over the years? And you... you actually suspect me..." Her voice broke as she began to cry, her words turning into choked sobs. Of course, she wasn’t crying out of grievance, but because of Chen Xiao.
Guilt gnawed at Jiang Zhengfeng. "Bai Xi! Don’t... don’t cry. I shouldn’t have doubted you! But that issue... I didn’t want it to happen either. I had a mishap in my cultivation... but it will be fixed soon."
"Fixed? I’ve been hearing that for over a decade. I lost hope a long time ago," Zhu Baixi scoffed. "Since you’re so eager to know if there’s a man in my room, I’ll start the video and let you see clearly! If there isn’t, you give me half the power in the Jiang Family! Do you... do you dare?"
Damn, this woman is something else, Chen Xiao thought. You really can’t believe a word that comes out of a woman’s mouth. She’s still on autopilot, yet her words sound completely genuine. To anyone who didn’t know better, she would seem like a paragon of virtue.
Jiang Zhengfeng sighed. "Bai Xi, I was wrong. I won’t speak to you like that again."
"Forget it. I can’t be bothered to argue with you. It’s only natural for you to be more sensitive, given your condition." Zhu Baixi bit her lip, struggling to form the words. "I’m hanging up." If I don’t hang up soon, I’ll give myself away, she thought.
"Wait!" Jiang Zhengfeng said. "I have something to tell you."
"What is it?" Zhu Baixi asked, biting her lip. Are you ever going to shut up? Do you have to hear me cry out before you’re satisfied?
A flicker of curiosity stirred in Chen Xiao, and he slowed his movements slightly. Seeing this, Zhu Baixi immediately shot him a look of dissatisfaction and pressed herself back against him, shifting from first gear straight into fourth.
"HISS—" Chen Xiao sucked in a sharp breath, though he felt incredibly displeased. What the hell... why do I feel like I’m the one getting the short end of the stick here?
He immediately vented his dissatisfaction forcefully, the muffled, heavy sounds making Zhu Baixi’s hand tremble so much she couldn’t hold her phone. She simply tossed it aside and put it on speaker.
"Go ahead, I’m listening."
Then, she flipped over, wrapping her arms around Chen Xiao’s neck and her legs around his powerful waist, savoring his strong physique.
Jiang Zhengfeng said, "There’s a new mission tomorrow night." He suddenly paused, as though he had heard something strange.
"Spit it out!" Seeing Jiang Zhengfeng go quiet, Zhu Baixi grew anxious and impatient. "What do you want me to do? Hurry up, I need to rest!" If he doesn’t talk, Chen Xiao won’t move.
