District 42-Chapter 364: Testing
Casper didn’t need to ask much about that "New power" to know how much stronger he had begun.
Wayland was probably expecting that he would sort it out by himself as well.
In truth, it wasn’t something difficult to understand. Particularly for the White warrior, who had been in touch with Yanke all this while to know very well about the capabilities of that little robot... that now was some kind of system... or another personality of his.
’I do not know how I can address you, Yanke. There is something you did like to be referred to?’
[ I think that the most suitable and popular definition for this new self of mine is: System. ]
’Oh... Ok. You seem to be a man of culture as well, I see... Well, I am good with it.’
Casper switched his attention to Wayland. They both had excited looks on their faces.
"You just put one of the most intelligent minds of District 42 into my brain, man... I can’t even imagine how many things I can do now... It is incredible!"
The Forger nodded excitedly.
"Yes, right? There are many things that I did like to say to you. Maybe it would help you when using Yanke, but I think that you comprehend the essence of your power, which is good enough for now. You just need to be creative and explore all the possibilities that you have with this new consciousness. Be sure that Yanke will probably aid you in whatever he can, so you are not alone in this discovery."
Casper nodded to him.
"I think that it is about time for me to go. I can’t wait for any further to do what needs to be done." The soldier spoke with a serious face.
Wayland nodded. He knew that the conversation couldn’t last for too long. Many things were happening in the outside world, after all.
"Don’t worry, White warrior. You are going to accomplish your duty. I can’t hold you for more time here." He smiled softly, approaching Casper and patting his shoulder.
"I have been watching you since the first day that you came here, Casper. I do not know what happened in your past to make you get like this, but, as a broken man myself, I can assure you that I understand you. And be certain that you have done more than any other person in your shoes would be capable to do, even though you had so many limitations."
The soldier nodded.
"Don’t worry, Wayland. I am no longer as broken as before. As I said, I have now a reason to fight..." He closed his hand into a tight fist, "and also the strength to fight properly. I can do this!"
Wayland nodded.
"Let’s see what your system got for you!" The Forger said.
’Hey, Yanke...’
[ Yes, Master ]
’Do you remember that you teleported me here a while ago?’
[ Of course, Master. ]
’Can you use it as many times as you want?’
[ As long as Indigo Energy is available around, I can basically do anything within my capabilities as much as I want. ]
’Ok, add one skill to the list, then! And let’s use it now. I need to go to the Support Base as fast as possible!’
[ Skill: Teleportation, added to the list successfully. ]
[ Activating ability... ]
A strong white light enveloped Casper’s body in the next moment.
He waved to Wayland before his body vanished and he got teleported to the Support Base again.

Casper appeared in the exact same place that he was before he got teleported. He was a bit disoriented, but it wasn’t as bad as when he used the Teleporting Pads for the first time in District 42.
He was sure that he would get used to it soon, anyway.
’A teleporting skill is certainly useful when battling against someone. It’s quite overpowered that you can use it as much as you want, to be honest.’
[ Overpowering you are the reason why I am here, Master. There are many other abilities that you will be able to explore in the future. The technology and possibilities of this world are way higher than in your original world as you may know. ]
The soldier nodded, smiling. He was excited to see the extension of his new strength.
"Yanke, can you track the Aesirs for me, please? I need to talk, at least, with MMA."

’Wow! Good thing! But... erm, will this message always appears when I use a skill? It somewhat gets in the way.’
[ No, Master. It will appear just when you learn a new skill. And, when you are doing something that focus is needed, the notifications will appear later. ]

Casper waited until Yanke reported to him. He was used to asking for the robot to track people for him and just waiting until something happens. Nonetheless, that day it was different.
When he was least expecting it, his vision got completely bluish.
’W-What!?’
He began to look around.
The buildings were outlined with white as if they were sketches of buildings drawn with a white pen. The people, though, were outlined with red, outstanding from anything around.
’Y-Yanke?’
[ Yes, Master. ]
’What is happening with my vision?’
[ That’s the ability, Master. That’s how I see things when I am Tracking. This skill allows you to distinguish ordinary things from important ones and eliminate the rest. You can zoom your range of visualization and even see things 360°. You will need to get used to it, but I am sure that you can do it quickly. ]
