Chapter 1505: Into the 100th Floor!

"How is this?" Max asked calmly as he looked toward the young primordial.

The battlefield around them was overflowing with terrifying power. Nine lightning needles floated around Max like silent weapons capable of tearing apart space itself. Behind him the four enormous divine beasts formed from devouring black flames stood like towering guardians, their bodies clad in radiant golden armor.

Above them the sky was filled with countless golden swords created from the Heavenly Luminance Divine Bloodline, forming a breathtaking sea of divine weapons that illuminated the entire arena.

The young primordial observed the scene quietly.

He nodded slowly.

"You are good," he said calmly. "You have certainly exceeded my expectations."

His gaze lingered on the manifestations surrounding Max as he continued nodding with genuine approval.

"If I were to evaluate your talent, I can confidently say that you belong among the finest geniuses within the Divine Realm. However you are only one among many. The Divine Realm is vast and there exist numerous geniuses with talent comparable to yours."

He paused briefly before speaking again.

"Anyway, you have already passed the trial of this floor."

Max frowned immediately when he heard those words.

"What do you mean?" he asked. "I have not defeated you yet."

The young primordial smiled faintly.

"To tell you the truth, this floor is different from the others," he explained calmly. "The ninety ninth floor is the penultimate floor of the Combat Tower and its rules are unique compared to the previous floors."

"As the guardian of this floor, I possess the authority to kill anyone who arrives here without having opened one of the Seven Divine Veins."

He looked directly at Max as he continued.

"However if someone who has already opened any of the Seven Divine Veins appears on this floor, then that person has already satisfied the requirement to pass the trial."

Max’s expression shifted slightly as he listened.

"The true condition for clearing the ninety ninth floor is not defeating me," the young primordial said. "The requirement is simply to have opened at least one of the Seven Divine Veins within the body."

"And you have already done that." 𝐟𝚛𝕖𝚎𝕨𝗲𝐛𝚗𝐨𝐯𝐞𝕝.𝐜𝗼𝗺

A calm smile appeared on his face.

"That means you have already passed the trial of this floor the moment you arrived here."

Max stood silent for a moment as he processed the revelation.

The young primordial continued speaking.

"I did not tell you this earlier because you carry the mark of the Primordial," he said. "When I sensed that mark on you, I became curious. I wanted to see your true strength."

His gaze shifted toward the lightning needles and the divine beasts behind Max.

"Now that I have witnessed what you are capable of, there is no longer any reason to continue this facade."

As he finished speaking, the young primordial’s body suddenly began to glow with golden light.

Max’s eyes widened slightly when he saw this.

Realizing that the primordial was about to disappear, Max quickly asked the question that had been lingering in his mind.

"Where can I find the Primordial Race?" he asked urgently. "I do not know which star realm they reside in."

The young primordial smiled lightly.

"Since you carry the mark of the Primordial, your fate is already connected to us," he replied calmly. "Sooner or later you will encounter the Primordial Race."

"You do not need to concern yourself with such minor matters."

His figure began to dissolve slowly into glowing particles of golden light.

"I only hope that the next time we meet, you will have grown far stronger than you are now."

With those final words, the young primordial’s body broke apart into countless motes of golden light and disappeared completely from the ninety ninth floor of the Combat Tower.

As the young primordial disappeared into motes of golden light, the scene within the Combat Tower shifted once again.

Outside the tower, the projections that had been clearly displaying Max’s figure suddenly flickered.

Then the screens went completely black.

The sudden change caused immediate confusion among everyone who had been watching the trial unfold with great anticipation. Just moments earlier they had been observing Max standing on the ninety ninth floor surrounded by terrifying manifestations of lightning, flames, and divine light.

Now there was nothing.

The projections had completely vanished.

"What happened?" one of the disciples exclaimed in shock. "Why did the projections suddenly turn black?"

Another elder stepped forward while staring at the blank screen with a frown.

"Could it be that some of the runes inside the tower malfunctioned and caused the projection array to stop working?"

"That does not make sense," another person quickly replied while shaking his head. "The Combat Legion Tower has been functioning perfectly for thousands of years. Not once has such a problem occurred before. I do not think the issue lies with the tower itself."

Murmurs quickly spread through the gathering.

Disciples and elders began speculating among themselves, each trying to determine the cause of the sudden blackout. However none of them could reach a clear conclusion.

The tower had always operated flawlessly.

There had never been an incident where the projection array stopped displaying the battles occurring within the tower.

For the first time in a very long time, uncertainty spread among the observers.

Joe remained silent for a moment as he stared at the dark projection screen with a thoughtful expression. His brows slowly furrowed as he considered the situation carefully.

Then he spoke.

"It seems that the tower spirit has blocked the projections," Joe said solemnly.

The surrounding elders immediately turned their attention toward him.

"My guess is that Max has already entered the hundredth floor of the Combat Tower," Joe continued. "The tower spirit must have deliberately blocked the projection arrays so that whatever is happening on the hundredth floor cannot be seen by outsiders."

The moment those words were spoken, a wave of surprise passed through the gathering.

Mathew Grimes nodded slowly as he considered the possibility.

"That explanation is highly likely," he said thoughtfully. "The contents of the hundredth floor must be extremely important if the tower spirit itself chose to conceal it from all observers."

The idea only deepened the curiosity among those present.

Everyone knew that the hundredth floor had never been reached before.

For thousands of years the highest anyone had managed to reach was the ninety first floor. Even the powerful geniuses from Violet Star Palace had been unable to defeat the guardian of the ninety eighth floor.

Now Max had surpassed all those limits and entered a realm that no one had ever witnessed.

"Elder Joe," Victor Veron asked at that moment while turning toward him, "do you know what exists on the hundredth floor?"

Joe slowly shook his head.

"Although my Violet Star Palace was the force that originally discovered two of the Combat Towers," he replied calmly, "no disciple from our sect has ever managed to reach the hundredth floor."

He paused briefly before continuing.

"Because of that, no one truly knows what lies there."

His gaze remained fixed on the dark projection screen.

"However since the tower spirit chose to hide the contents of that floor, I can only assume that it contains something extremely important."

Joe’s expression grew slightly thoughtful.

"It might be some kind of inheritance."

"Or perhaps something even more extraordinary."

The seven family heads listened quietly before nodding in agreement.

Whatever existed on the hundredth floor of the Combat Legion Tower was clearly something the outside world was not meant to witness.
