Devil Slave (Satan system)-Chapter 1198: Grand Dad Enel Does Not Care
The moment the battle signal sounded, Nate, Jay, Nerina, Aiden, Dana, and Lana launched forward, eyes gleaming with the thrill of battle and determination. Each of them commanded a combination of creation magic, the dark, fearsome powers inherited from their demonic heritage, and holy magic—a unique blend only bloodline of Lenny could command.
They were powerful, each at the Lesser Demon rank, with Nate leading at Rank 6 and Lana at Rank 3. Enel, standing at Rank 4, was both the youngest and, by all logic, the least experienced.
But Enel was far from ordinary. His memories of his past lives spent fighting in relentless wars had taught him harsh lessons, and he had long mastered the subtle but formidable art of rune control—a skill his siblings sorely lacked.
His gaze sharpened, his stance unyielding as the six stormed toward him.
Jay’s voice rang out first, a mocking taunt as he swung his fist. "Are you going to run, little brother?"
Instead of dodging, Enel’s hands flashed with symbols, and a barrier rune formed in an instant, deflecting Jay’s blow with a pulse of energy. "You might want to save the jokes for later," Enel replied, kicking forward to sweep Jay off his feet, only for Nate to intercept with a swift darkline shield, blocking Enel’s kick mid-air.
Nate sneered. "Nice try, Enel. You think a few ’Basic’ runes will save you?"
’BASIC?’ Enel thought in his head, ’this annoying child’.
Without a word, Enel activated another set of runes, commanding the ground beneath Nate to break and destabilize, sending Nate stumbling. Enel whirled, countering Nerina, who came at him from his left with a spinning kick, by catching her leg mid-air and twisting, forcing her back as he unleashed a burst of darkline energy.
Around them, the crowd buzzed in shock.
"Is he really holding them off?" a spectator murmured in awe.
"Look at him! He’s not even breaking a sweat!" another cried out.
Nerina spat in frustration as she caught her balance, summoning holy energy that shimmered in her palms, bright and lethal. "You’ll regret that, Enel!" she snarled, thrusting her hands forward. The holy energy spiraled toward Enel, but he swiftly conjured a warding rune, bending the light around him as he shifted to the side, dodging the attack entirely.
Dana and Aiden attacked in unison, their creation magic forming lances of pure energy. Aiden thrust his lance forward, and Enel ducked, sweeping low to trip Aiden. He followed with a swift backflip, landing with grace as Dana’s lance shot toward him. Enel extended a hand, casting another rune that shattered her lance with a burst of electric energy.
Lana, attempting to flank him from the side, growled as she formed a blazing whip of holy power, snapping it toward Enel. He leaped, dodging just as the whip cracked where he’d been. With surprising agility, he twisted mid-air and landed directly in front of her, delivering a rapid combination of punches and kicks that forced her back.
The crowd’s astonishment was palpable. "Is this… really Enel?" someone whispered in disbelief.
Even his siblings were bewildered by his prowess. Aiden muttered, "What’s gotten into him?"
Jay scowled, summoning darkline energy that coiled around his fists like smoke. "Enough games, Enel. Fight us like a real warrior!"
Enel just smirked, letting loose a blinding burst of holy power to temporarily stun them. In the moment of confusion, he released a command to the elemental runes surrounding the platform. Fire erupted from one side, forcing Jay and Nerina to dodge, while a gust of wind propelled Enel forward to meet Aiden with a punishing elbow strike. Enel followed up with a roundhouse kick to Dana’s shoulder, sending her skidding back.
Nate roared in frustration, charging with his own darkline magic flaring around him. "This ends now, Enel!" He brought down a powerful fist, but Enel sidestepped, his movements fluid as water, and struck back with a well-placed punch that forced Nate to retreat.
Despite the relentless assault from all six, Enel managed to hold them at bay, dodging, countering, and strategically using his runes to control the battlefield. The arena was filled with cries of amazement from the crowd, their shock mounting as Enel’s skill continued to outshine the combined might of his siblings.

Luca, facing the mysterious figure and watching from the sidelines, was stunned, his jaw clenched in frustration. "How… how is he doing this?"
Enel’s lips curled into a sly smirk, his eyes glinting with a dangerous excitement. "You thought this was my best?" he scoffed. "Guess it’s time I got a LITTLE bit serious..."
With a wave of his hand, intricate, gleaming runes appeared mid-air, each one taking the sharp, deadly form of a sword. The symbols pulsed with a raw, cutting energy as he launched forward, wielding them with a swiftness and precision that pushed his siblings back. He moved with ruthless efficiency, each strike of his rune-forged blades forcing them on the defensive, widening the gap between his ability and theirs with every calculated blow.
Nate grit his teeth, trying to hold his ground, but Enel’s relentless assault was overwhelming. Each movement was too precise, too fast. He barely had time to register Enel’s next attack—a powerful thrust aimed directly at his heart.
Nerina saw it in an instant. Without hesitation, she leapt between them, putting herself in the line of fire, shielding her brother with a desperate, defiant look in her eyes.
But Enel didn’t hesitate. His gaze was cold, almost vacant, his blade carrying a lethal resolve as it sliced through the air. In one swift, merciless motion, his blade struck, slicing clean through Nerina’s neck.
*Slush!*
A terrible silence fell over the arena as her severed head dropped to the ground with a sickening thud, rolling a few feet before finally coming to a stop.
Gasps and horrified murmurs rippled through the crowd, paralyzed by the brutal reality of what had just happened. Even Enel’s siblings stared in stunned disbelief, their faces drained of color....
