Devastating The Murim with My Little Sister-Chapter 135: At Yongho.
P.O.V - Diana.
" Welcome people of the Dang Clan." A man greets us as we stand in the large hall amongst thousands of people awaiting the commencement of the Festival.
He had no welcoming aura around him.
He looked like it was too bothersome to come greet us but he had to since it was his work.
’ So now even a mere steward dares look down on me? ’
" Yes, thank you." The First Elder, Dang Kal responds.
The steward says all needed to be said, giving us rules to abide by and leaves like he didn’t want people to think he was associated with us.
I could feel the eyes of this fuckers looking down on us.
I could here them whisper amongst themselves.
" Why do they still let trash like them participate in this Festival..." One says underneath his breath.
" ...It’s an insult to our name as fellow Orthodox Clans and Sects..." Another whispers.
’ If David was here and he felt like I was getting annoyed he’d have probably removed all their heads by now.’ I say to myself as I giggle with a smile lingering on.
" But I can’t do that..." I say out.
" Huh? what was that?" Rohli asks.
" Oh, it’s nothing, was just thinking of pulling out their tongues just now. " I reply.
" Hmmm, well let me know if you decide to do so, I’d like to join in the fun." She responds.
I chuckle a bit.
" Yhh, I’ll ensure I do that..."
" You both should please not do something crazy." Dang Kal says to us both.
" Do not worry, compared to their crazy reputation they both actually have some self control." Dang Woon says assuring Dang Kal, though Dang Kal didn’t look that convinced.
" Ohhh, Good day Patriach." A male suddenly greets with a bow.
The young lad wore exquisite clothing and had a number of guards around him, and that face, of course I remember, it was Hwang Jin, the Second Young Master of the Golden Manor Merchant Group.
" Ohh! Young Master, Good day, welcome to the Orthodox Murim Festival." Dang Woon greets with a smile.
" Good day Young Master!" The rest of us greet together politely.
" Good day Young Misses and uh...". He greets but looses words as he turns towards Dang Kal.
" I’m the First Elder, it is an honour to meet you." Dang Kal states as he greets Hwang Jin.
" Oh no, the honour is mine." Hwang Jin replies with a slight bow.
" Good day Patriach, Young Misses and esteemed Elder." Sea Sand, Hwang Jin’s duolo greets us with a bow of the head.
Guess they are both no longer as hostile as they were.
And Hwang Jin, his frame looks... bigger, did he start training and learning Martial Arts properly, he looks a lot more fit than the spoilt brat from three years ago.
" Its a pleasure to see you again, seems the Manor Master won’t be coming huh?" Dang Woon asks.
" Yes, he has a very busy and tight schedule so he wouldn’t be available to attend this festival..." Hwang Jin replies.
’ Of course, only snub people like Merchants would say they are too busy to attend the Orthodox Murim Festival.’ I say to myself.
" But the Manor Master extends his gratitude, ever since we allied with the Dang Clan, with your continuous supply of rare herbs and pills the Golden Manor Merchant group has Successfully solidified its position as the best merchant group in the East." Hwang Jin states.
" Ohh, its as a result as your hard work, we are only doing what we should." Dang Woon replies.
" Yes, the Manor Master knew you’d say something like that so he said this and I quote;
’ It is only natural we also do what we are supposed to do so from this day forth the Golden Manor Merchant Group is a brother to the Dang Clan and shall be with them through thick and thin, anyone who goes against the Dang Clan goes against the Golden Manor Merchant Group.’"
He says this with a loud voice.
After he had finished silence filled the whole eight stories hall as everyone around had just heard that.
The Greatest Merchant Group in the Orthodox Murim is siding with a mere Dang Clan?
’ Hahaha, I guess that old man has good eyes after all.’
I could hear people begin to snicker.
" How could they ally with a fallen Clan?"
" I hope this opens new doors for both the Dang Clan and the our Merchant group." Hwang Jin rounds
Dang Woon, Dang Kal and Dang Juro stood dazed.
Of course Dang Hyuk and Rohli remained expressionless though Dang Hyuk looked a little puzzled.
Everyone’s eyes turn to us, mostly with envy and spite though.
The Golden Manor Merchant Group being so great, a lot of people try to make deals or contact with them but as they are Great, they are also quite snubbish, even the Murim alliance doesn’t have a hold on them and yet here they are offering brotherhood to a fallen Clan?
" Hahahaha" I couldn’t help but burst out laughing.
Everyone turns to look at me.
" Ummm, is the offer not to your liking Miss Dang So?" Hwang Jin asks politely.
" Ohhh, no no no, sorry about that, I just suddenly thought of something.
The offer is greatly to my liking if you ask me but in the end, the Patriach has the final say." I reply.
" Patriach?" He asks Dang Woon for his opinion.
" Ohh...ohh umm of course, it’s an honour honestly, the Dang Clan will not forget this grace." Dang Woon replies.
" Ohhh, please Patriach, the honour is ours we’ve also brought gifts but I guess this wouldn’t be the right place to give them?" Hwang Jin says.
" Of course, thank you very much." Dang Woon says, his voice not excited, just calm and very composed.
" Well then, we will be on our way now, we still have some contacts to meet with, I hope to share a meal or drink with you all at a later time if that is alright with you." He says with a slight bow.
" Of course, anytime Young Master." Dang Woon replies.
" Alright then, it was nice meeting again." He says as he leaves after greeting us all.
Damn, the look from everyone around us, like they can’t wait to pierce our throats...
