Destroying My Own World-Chapter 388: After eons.
Mykel walked toward her while still in disbelief because there was no way for her to be able to get into that world. When he was close enough, he pulled her closer and hugged her tightly because it didn’t matter how she came to that world.
He knew it was Elena because of how familiar her scent was, and he couldn’t help but cherish the moment. He knew that Aevia would let this be and would come anytime soon to separate them both, or even worse to kill her.
Elestria and Elysande were shocked by Mykel’s reaction when he saw the woman. They observed the woman and she was beautiful and tall, someone that they had never seen before. They looked at the entrance and saw dozens of guards lying on the ground unconscious.
"I miss you so much..." Elena’s voice trembled in happiness because of how Mykel embraced her and showed how he missed her like she missed him. "I’m not going to let you go ever again. I’m not going to let anyone take you away from me anymore," she said as she was glimmering in tears.
Elestria and Elysande heard what Elena said and realized that she was someone important. They could feel the bond between Mykel and Elena was something special, more than what they both had.
"How did you get in here?" Mykel gently caressed Elena’s cheek and wiped off the tears that were about to fall.
"I can’t tell you that, but I’m here now and that’s what matters," Elena smiled as she held Mykel’s hands. "I waited for eons for this, and it was worth the price," she looked at him with a big smile on her face as she chuckled.
When they both were staring at each other, they realized the time had stopped moving. Their expressions changed drastically and immediately looked around to see where would Aevia show herself.
"I knew that something was off..." Aevia’s voice echoed throughout the hall. "But it doesn’t matter now. You finally showed your true intention and now I have a reason to erase you," she pointed out.
Mykel and Elena were separated by force and then Aevia appeared in the middle. She looked at Elena and tried to read her thoughts, but to her surprise that she could barely see anything. Something was off about Elena and her existence that Aevia couldn’t see it anymore even though she could see anything about her like clear water.
"You made a huge mistake coming down here, Aevia. You must have forgotten that I’m not the only threat to you since you spared two more lives other than myself," Elena warned and she looked confident about the situation she was in.
"Oh, you don’t have to worry about that. I still have someone that will help me over there. Thanks to someone who hasn’t killed Luciel for this simple reunion with his loved Queen and her sister," Aevia said as she looked over her shoulder at Mykel. "If you dare to get involved in this, you will regret this," she warned Mykel and took his power away.
Aevia knew that Mykel had nothing to do with Elena’s appearance and scheme since she could see everything about him. He was as shocked as Aevia and his genuine expression and reaction were enough to convince her.
"Don’t you dare speak to him like that," Elena appeared right in front of Aevia with her fist ready to punch Aevia in the face.
Aevia glanced at Elena as she used her power to stop Elena from moving, but she was shocked that Elena was unaffected by her power. She knew it was already too late and she got punched in the fast so hard that the time started to distort and almost started to move again.
Elena choked Aevia and slammed her to the ground so hard that the ground broke. She then threw Aevia away and made her hit the walls until she was sent out into the open.
There was no shockwave, there was no explosion, and there was no sound because the time stopped. But the moment the time moved again, all the accumulated pressures would burst at the same time. Mykel who knew about it immediately looked at Elestria and Elysande, thinking if they would be able to survive as soon as the time started moving again.
He lost all his power, and he was nothing but a normal human being where his strength was based on his muscles. But when he thought he could do nothing, he felt something inside him growing, something deep inside his chest. It felt warm and it got warmer that he felt like his inside was burning.
Aevia was floating in the sky, staring at the palace from the far distance. She realized she was almost thrown into outer space, and she never thought she would be overwhelmed by anyone. The power that Elena possessed was nothing like back when she first met her, and somehow the power within Elena’s body felt familiar.
"You fell for it," Elena said as she blinked in and appeared in front of Aevia. "Someone like you could be easily fooled," she added.
"Where did you get that power? There’s no possibility for you to possess something that resonates with my power," Aevia asked.
"Is it really that hard for you to find the answer? The answer has been always in front of you. I’m the result of love between Mother and Mykel. Do you think that the three of us have no connection?" Elena asked back.
Aevia squinted her eyes and tried to find the answer based on what Elena said. She could remember the beginning of time in Mykel’s world until its destruction in a split second. She found out what Elena meant by connection, and that was something as simple as an ability called [Bond].
"A mere made-up power can be this impactful..." Aevia furrowed her eyebrows in disbelief.
"You’re wrong. That’s not a made-up power, it was a made-up name for the system. The power itself is true and the bond between the three of us remains unchanged after all this time," Elena answered. "Thanks to you who brought my mother back and gave her a tiny bit of your power. She gave it all to me before she died, and Thanks to you who gave Mykel the ability to make her able to relive the past," she explained.
Aevia never calculated that kind of possibility and outcome because at that moment she thought there was no hidden motive from Mykel. The moment she thought that Mykel had a hidden motive, things started to make sense and blew her mind away.
"Enough with the talk, it’s time for both of us to have some fun," Elena released her life force and instantly wrapped around Aevia’s body.
Aevia couldn’t move her body by just using her strength, and so she used her power to free herself by reversing herself. She disappeared and reappeared a few seconds back, releasing herself from Elena’s grasp. But, when she thought she was safe from Elena, something lingered around her waist, a faint life energy that was attached to her.
"I have spent eons, and what do you think I was doing during that time? I used every second to think of the possibilities of your power and what it does. You gave me time, and I will show my gratitude," Elena pointed out and used her power to move both of them to a different world.
As soon as they both left, time started to move again, and at that moment, half of the Earth was flattened and bent quite deep. Everyone died in an instant, the shockwave and the pressure killed almost seventy percent of the population. Those who survived were either badly injured or unscratched by it since they were on the other side of the world. Explore new worlds at novelbuddy
Elestria and Elysande were confused as to where they were because they saw nothing but a void around them. They held hands and stayed together until suddenly Zachary, Melissa, Aston, and Javelin came out of the darkness. They looked at each other and had no idea where they were, and not to mention the void was so eerie that they couldn’t stop having goosebumps.
"Where are we? What’s happening?" Aston looked around and he looked anxious.
Javelin created a fireball on her hand, but it immediately got absorbed by the void. She was startled and noticed the place they were in wasn’t a normal place and they were in danger.
"We need to keep moving! This place might devour us if we stay here for too long!" Javelin hurriedly walked past the others and led the way.

They walked quite far away and they had no idea how long they had been walking since they couldn’t tell. They were terrified by the void and the ambient sound it produced as if at any second they might get devoured by the darkness.
"I see a light..." Zachary squinted his eyes and made she he wasn’t hallucinating when he saw a dim dark purple light in the distance.
"I see it too," Melissa nodded her head in agreement. "But are you sure that light is the way we want to go toward it? By the look of it, it’s kind of creepy and scary," she pointed out as she hid behind Zachary and held his forearm so tightly.
Everyone hesitated and thought about it thoroughly to see if it was the right decision to follow the light. But suddenly, Elysande walked toward the light and they were speechless when they saw every step she took was like a giant leap that covered hundreds of meters. They knew that the place was weird and extremely dangerous, but they couldn’t let Elysande walk toward the light on her own.
They ran toward Elysande to catch up with her, but they had forgotten that a short step was enough to travel quite far. They ended up going toward the light faster than Elysande and were exposed to the dark purple light.
"Aunty?" Jessie looked at Elestria and the others who came out of the void from her perspective.
"Jessie?!" Elestria ran toward Jessie and made sure she was okay.
"Henry? You’re here too?" Javelin looked at Henry who looked as confused as them about the place they were in. "Are you okay?" She asked and looked at Henry’s body.
Elysande came out of the void and saw Jessie and Henry with the others. She was worried about those two since they were trapped in that place with them.
"Looks like everyone is here already," A calm and soothing woman’s voice could be heard from the void. "Is everyone okay?" The woman came out and it was Amaryllis.
Zachary and Aston immediately walked to the front and protected everyone from Amaryllis. The reason was simple, they knew that all the Gods had been killed, and there shouldn’t be any God left. The woman in front of them wasn’t a God nor the eldest sister, which meant that the woman’s intention was unknown.
"There’s no need to be on guard..." Mykel’s voice could be heard from behind Amaryllis. "She’s with me," he appeared from the void and stood next to Amaryllis.
Everyone stared at Mykel and made the same expression with the same thoughts in their minds. Who was he and what kind of a being was he that he could create a world like that?
