Destiny Mission of game 'Star Ring'-Chapter 1541 - 1222: Mistake (First Update)
After three rounds of drinks.
Nan Qi and Su Mo were full and slightly drunk; the aftereffects of the bottle were quite strong.
"Brother, are you full and satisfied? Shall we go check out the supplies?"
Nan Qi asked with a cheerful smile.
"Let’s go!"
Su Mo got up without hesitation.
Not long after, Su Mo and Nan Qi took a small spaceship to the Freedom Fortress, chatting as they headed toward the internal storage.
"Brother, there’s something, as your big brother, I thought about it and have to give you a heads-up."
Nan Qi spoke cheerfully, fueled by the alcohol.
"Tell me."
Su Mo replied curiously. Although Nan Qi wasn’t very reliable, his words held value.
Nan Qi glanced around and said to Su Mo mysteriously, "Brother, if you really join the Royal Order someday, and I mean if."
"Yeah, and then?"
"Once you’re in, don’t take sides. Just do what you need to do, Big Brother guarantees your life will be cozy."
"Take sides for what?"
Su Mo’s eyelids flickered, and he deliberately asked. 𝐟𝚛𝕖𝚎𝕨𝗲𝐛𝚗𝐨𝐯𝐞𝕝.𝐜𝗼𝗺
"Just like Mecha or Laurel, neutrality is the most comfortable. Besides, if anyone bullies you, you can still lean to the other side."
Nan Qi said slyly to Su Mo. In fact, he was increasingly confident about Su Mo joining the Royal Order and wanted to gain favor by revealing some insider information early.
"I see, I’ll keep that in mind."
When Su Mo heard Nan Qi’s words, he immediately recalled the argument between Xia Weiya and Herbert, but he didn’t say much.
...
Soon after, Su Mo and Nan Qi arrived outside the internal storage.
"The things are inside."
Su Mo said to Nan Qi while pressing his hand on the identifier next to him, instantly opening the metal door.
Nan Qi looked at the opening metal door, his eyes shining as he eagerly stepped inside.
As Nan Qi entered the storage, a pair of crimson eyes lit up; Domak’s fierce head bowed to look at Nan Qi, then opened its bloody mouth revealing sharp fangs and roared thunderously, two sharp blades flashing with a chilling glow.
Nan Qi stared at the V-type Heroic Level Alien before him, frozen like he had fallen into an abyss, turning pale with terror, nearly dying on the spot.
He thought to himself in fear,
"It’s over, I’m really doomed this time! A V-type Heroic Level Alien, facing it without a Mecha, even God would fall flat."
Su Mo instantly reacted, rushing in to stand in front of Nan Qi and kicked Domak.
"Go, go, don’t scare my brother."
Domak, upon seeing Su Mo, immediately lost its terrifying aura, made a couple of noises, and then turned to walk away.
"Are you okay?"
Su Mo quickly asked about Nan Qi’s wellbeing, hoping he wasn’t scared to death.
Nan Qi gradually calmed down, forcing a weak smile as he asked Su Mo, "Is this your pet?"
"Yeah, it’s quite obedient, sorry I forgot to mention it earlier."
Su Mo replied cheerfully.
"I was really nearly scared to death. How dare you keep such a dangerous pet? Wait, haven’t you registered its Identity Card yet?"
Nan Qi’s voice trembled, still not over the scare.
"Uh, I just got it recently, haven’t had time to register. Might need your help with that later."
Su Mo said with a smile.
"We’ll see, but brother, you better keep an eye on your pet, don’t let anything happen. Judging by its size and presence, it’s definitely V-type Heroic Level, and if it goes wild, few could control it."
Nan Qi warned Su Mo with lingering fear.
"Don’t worry, it’s very well-behaved. Let’s not talk about this now, let’s look at the goods."
Su Mo said casually.
Nan Qi immediately recovered and looked toward the storage!
He was stunned by the countless supplies and minerals, shocked beyond words.
"Wow! Brother, where did you strip these riches from? So many good things, how much is it worth?"
"It’s okay, you think you can’t handle it?"
Su Mo replied in good spirits.
"No way, let me give it a valuation."
Nan Qi quickly tapped his electronic bracelet, projecting a virtual calculator. He began examining items corner by corner, occasionally using the bracelet’s portable scanner for a scan.
Then he started calculating rapidly.
Su Mo was a little surprised; he assumed Nan Qi would glance through and give a rough estimate.
Never thought he would start calculating meticulously.
But Su Mo didn’t interrupt, just followed behind watching.
Nan Qi kept moving, occasionally peeling away surface items to see what’s covered beneath.
The more he looked, the brighter his eyes became; these collected goods exceeded expectations, practically nothing worthless.
The minerals were of good quality, and the collected mechanical wrecks were all crucial parts of ships and weapons, highly valuable.
Nan Qi was grinning widely.
Time flew by.
A few hours later, Nan Qi was almost done totaling.
He ran to Su Mo with a big smile, saying, "Brother, your goods are really great."
"Of course they are. See how much you can offer."
Su Mo didn’t modestly respond; those Blade Mutants were shrewd, only worthy items get moved to their lair.
Nan Qi’s smile grew even wider; he held up two fingers, "How about 20 trillion Star Coins?"
"20 trillion? No way."
Su Mo immediately rejected without hesitation.
"Then 21 trillion, considering our good relationship, this price is absolutely top-notch."
Nan Qi said, rubbing his hands.
"I’m only selling to you because we’re close; 21 trillion is definitely not enough."
Su Mo shook his head vehemently.
Nan Qi, hearing Su Mo’s insistence, got anxious and quickly asked, "Then brother, what price are you thinking?"
"27 trillion!"
Su Mo directly quoted the creator’s Swallower suggested price, trusting it’s fair.
"Come on, brother, that’s too high. You know this is the frontline; shipping it back is troublesome and risky. Can’t you lower it a bit?"
Nan Qi was a bit anxious.
"No way, this price is very fair. I’m only offering it because of our relationship, otherwise, I could haul it back and sell for more."
Su Mo replied with a shake of his head. He had already considered that the goods were worth roughly 27 trillion. However, materials were indeed rising in price lately, and if Commander Nan Qi shipped them back and managed them well, selling for 32 trillion, earning 5 trillion, should be no problem. The profit would be quite high.
