Clearly, Wrath doesn’t like the kings and doesn’t care for their existence, but he is glad that they exist. Things could have gone really bad if the chaos continued to destroy the property of the demigod.

It is something he doesn’t want to see at all. But it is exactly what Wrath was looking forward to seeing. It is why she is so bitter about the sudden interruption.

Things calmed down after that, so he decided to return to the city. Nothing exciting or unexpected happened until a few days before he was set to leave. One of the four kings was assassinated.

He almost fainted when he heard about it. However, all of the training he had done to withstand the pressure of a demigod came in handy at that point.

He was able to manage staying awake long enough to pack his stuff. Then he left the city again.

His heart was in his throat throughout the car ride to the city gate. He felt that the ground would erupt at any time.

He groaned and said, "This is not good for my health."

Meanwhile, Wrath was howling in excitement. "Let’s go. Let violent things happen. Entertain me."

He ran away from the city as fast as he could. It was until he was well away from the city that he had the presence of mind to check the details of the situation.

Apparently, a villain had killed the king. It was the villain herself who told people that she did it. She wasn’t accused of the crime. Instead, she came forward willingly to claim credit for it.

This was odd because the police and the leaders had made no announcements about the death of the king. In fact, nothing remotely related seemed to have happened. The city was still running normally without a single change.

But the villainess claimed that she had played a part in escalating the war of words. She had planted people together with the peaceful protesters.

These fake protestors were the ones who first started destroying parts of the city. They served as the spark that turned the peaceful protests into violent riots.

But her influence didn’t end there. It was her people that led the attacks on the corpos and made the first attacks. It was these attacks that led to the lethal retaliation of the corpos.

She claimed that all of this was to make the matter big enough to involve the kings. Clearly her plan worked. The heroes joined in the fight to defend the people, which forced the kings to intervene to end the conflict.

She then used this opportunity when the Kings wielded their influence to discover the identity of all four of them. Then she blackmailed the four kings with their identity.

She promised to expose their identity if they don’t give her Villain League the right to control a part of the city. She wanted to be like the Thunderstorm Villain League and District 666.

The kings didn’t listen, so she killed one to show that she meant business. She claimed that the kings wanted to keep the matter silent, but she wants everyone to know of her deed.

She said with a smile on TV, "They can’t kill me, or their identities will be exposed when I die. They have to give me what I want, or they will die with me soon after."

She was proud as she said that. She didn’t look afraid of repercussions at all.

She spoke confidently, "Let this be the public debut of my Villain League. We are currently recruiting. If you want to be a part of our core organization, then sign up as soon as possible."

Kelvin saw this and shook his head in pity. "She is dead. She is so dead."

Wrath said, "Be that as it may, I bet that she won’t go down without a fight. Imagine all the chaos that this will cause."

He was still shaking his head in wonder. The day had gone dark because of the heavy rain clouds obscuring the sun, and it was raining heavily. The abandoned skyscraper he was in couldn’t protect him from the rain and the wind.

He was soaked from head to toe, but it was of little concern to him. If bullets can’t harm him, then some rain won’t be able to do much.

His mind was completely focused on the daring lady who thought it was a good idea to kill one of the caretakers of a demigod.

He said, "That could have been me without the extraordinary perception ability. I could be daring like that too if I knew that the kings were weak."

Wrath nodded in agreement. "Right? That’s what I said about them being weak. Only those who are aware of the power bestowed on them will fear them. As for ignorant people like her, they don’t give a shit about some weak people controlling the whole city."

Kelvin searched for information about her and said in wonder, "The surprising thing is that she is weak herself. She is only B rank with an ability to curse people. I thought it would be some S-rank or SSS-rank super that could be so daring."

Wrath said, "The world needs more daring people like her."

Kelvin couldn’t stand it anymore. He asked, "What was she thinking? She is just a B-rank super. If she thought that kind of power was enough to overthrow the city, why haven’t much stronger people done it?"

Wrath chuckled. "It is mostly ignorance. She is ignorant of a lot of things, while the information she has painted an incomplete picture. She took the picture to be the whole thing, that being that the four kings are weak and they hide their identities. She took that to mean that she could force her agenda."

He shook his head and eventually calmed down. Then he said, "Maybe this won’t be so bad. I might finally get to see what a demigod is capable of."
