With teary eyes, Gu Qingxin raised her head and went back to the bathroom. She put on her clothes one by one. If he indeed bothered by her presence, there was nothing left to do — time couldn’t be reversed, and all she could do was to leave.

Why can’t he just speak directly? Why is he always playing dumb with her? She’s not a clairvoyant; how would she understand him?
