Demi-human Girls Completion Manual-Chapter 980 - 52: Helair 2
"Pfft!"
Once more he silently apologized to Rafael, biting teeth as he seized the moment while Rafael was still locked in confrontation with Valentina, suddenly delivering a swift kick to Rafael’s abdomen, sending her flying. He then rolled violently on the ground, turning his gaze to Elizabeth who was poised to strike again. He dared not meet her blade head-on, instead twisting his head toward the direction where purple smoke engulfed the sky and sprinted madly.
"Fisher!!"
Elizabeth’s shriek behind him nearly shattered Fisher’s eardrums. For some reason, in this illusion, the behavior of the other ladies seemed flawed, but the heart palpitating sensation Elizabeth brought him was absolutely real. It felt as though even in reality she would commit such horrific acts.
The scorching blood dripping down his face reminded him of the perilous situation he was in. He dared not linger in this bizarre illusion any longer, sprinting frantically toward the direction the light was spreading.
"Mr. Fischer..."
"Tangze?"
Hearing a name that had not been used for a long time, recently awakened, the haunting voice seemed to overlap bit by bit with that of Tangze Asuka. Connecting it to the past he was in, Tangze Asuka was his first thought. But as soon as the name escaped his lips, he felt his body abruptly weaken, with all his life energy continuously draining into the outside world.
"Tangze? Who is Tangze? Is it the new student Mr. Fischer took in?"
Fisher struggled on as he coughed and collapsed onto the ground. As he looked down at the pure black liquid spreading on the ground, then looked up, he saw Moli whose silky blue hair had somehow turned pure black, calmly watching him. The very curse that drained Fisher’s life energy appeared to have been employed by her...
But, is it really so?
"Today is truly... lively..."
Fisher gazed at his palm, feeling his life energy gradually slipping away. The cause of all this was not the ladies pursuing him through the jungle, nor the death pursuing from future to past.
It was someone else who had truly made a move.
In Nali, he had felt the curse Moli used to drain life energy. That sudden aging experience was not pleasant to recall, yet it enabled Fisher to recognize the anomaly in Moli’s actions at that moment.
Suddenly realizing something, Fisher touched the face scratched earlier by "Elizabeth’s" blade, leaving a bright red trace on his hand. Staring at the bloodstain on his palm, he abruptly raised his palm upwards, exposing it under the light shining from the sky.
Following the glow of soft light, Fisher watched as the bloodstain on his hand gradually changed color, revealing layers of brilliant purple...
It appears he indeed fell into a trap.
Yet the illusion before him didn’t end, even as Fisher realized the tricks played by those who had laid hands on him, it was still to no effect.
In the primordial jungle the silhouettes of several ladies emerged, resembling those mesmerizing figures from his memory. They once enraptured him so, even now within this deadly illusion, Fisher couldn’t resist but admire everything about them...
"Fisher, care to explain to me who are they?"
"Fisher, I will no longer be lenient like last time... This time I only want your head, it’ll be good for everyone, thus ensuring we’ll never be apart..."
"Mr. Fischer, who is Tangze exactly?"
"Didn’t expect after all this time you’d turn out so greedy, worse than I, a demon. All I can say is, good riddance..."
Fisher smiled bitterly, feeling increasingly weighed down as the life energy bit by bit was devoured by the wound. The trace Renie left on his chest suddenly brightened, while the death it suppressed thirstily entwined his body, making him feel particularly cold.
"Renie..."
He muttered quietly, alone within a time without her, of course not met with any response.
"Renie?"
But in the very next moment, a playful and casual sound exploded at his ear. He immediately opened his eyes to find the illusion still present before him, yet now crouched before him was a beautiful golden-haired lady, encased in a thin warm morning light.
She stood barefoot, treading the soil without a speck of dust adhering to her. Between the gaps in her white robe, her fair lotus arms were exposed. With one hand supporting her cheek, she jestingly watched him, chuckling as she inquisitively asked,
"Who’s Renie? Another of your lady friends?"
"Helair, how could you... wait no, you’re not even female, appearing here is far too untimely, isn’t it?"
In a daze, Fisher swept his eyes over the group of ladies approaching him menacingly, shaking his head muddled, and spoke thusly.
Helair paused slightly at his words, then after a second as though having heard something unbelievable, she clutched her stomach and laughed heartily, extending her pristine foot to lift Fisher’s chin, raising his dim gaze inch by inch until he looked at her.
