Death Mage with an SS-Rank Talent-Chapter 226
Chapter 226: Chapter 226
Days went by, weeks went by, before anyone noticed, not until a notice for the second-year students appeared. This was a moment that everyone in the second year knew would happen sooner or later.
In these past few weeks, Aaron and the girls improved a lot, as they knew that sooner or later, they too would be deployed somewhere. Though they might not be placed at the front lines, but as support and who can say that the support lines don’t see war.
Enemies always attack the logistical sections of an army, rather than face the army directly. They would disrupt the supply lines in order to destabilise the army.
This was one of the most used tactics in warfare and one of the most effective strategies to win, without losing much.
What would happen if the supply lines that bring food, medicine and other basic supplies for the army were disrupted? The supplies would become scarce, and that means not everyone would be able to get the supplies.
It would create a scenario for the rise of mutiny or desertion, which would mean the enemy’s strength would be reduced and could be easily defeated later on, without many losses.
With patience and time, one can easily dismantle the enemies without losing much, and disrupting the supply lines and waiting for the inevitable to happen is a good tactic, which the cults are sure to use.
So, they needed to be strong enough to survive. So, all three of Aaron, Erika and Diana didn’t take much rest, and gave their undivided attention to levelling up. Of course, unlike girls who had to hunt monsters from morning till evening, Aaron, with his boost, doesn’t have a need to.
He would allot morning for levelling up, while the noon for getting as much knowledge as possible from the academy. There were many things that he was able to learn.
One such thing was why the so-called Human Gods don’t get involved much in the alliance. This was because of two reasons.
There was a pact made between humans and monsters.
The high-ranking monsters, as it turns out to be as smart as humans and also powerful. A fight between such forces would cause severe damage to the world. No matter how greedy one is, this is still the world they have to live in.
So, no direct involvement in battles.
Also, human gods were guarding a dangerous place called the Death Lands. It was said that if the way to those lands opened fully, then the world would be doomed. Though the details are a bit sketchy about that matter.
Aaron didn’t think much about that. He knew not everything that happens out there would be available to the public, even if they are a top-ranked student in a top academy. Most of that was because any leak of such knowledge might be disastrous for the alliance or the world.
Even with such restrictions, the books that were available for him to peruse through, gave him a lot of knowledge that he lacked before. It was more than enough for him at this point. It’s not like the fate of the world would be on his shoulders from this point.

In the last few weeks, Aaron’s status has improved a lot.

Aaron reached level 445, a five levels short of moving to next rank, Rank-4.
Fourty five levels gave him 180k of FSPs and 72k of SPs. The SPs were added to the previous ones. He is almost close to the required number there.
Once he crosses 200k of SPs, he can increase the Summon Ghosts in a single swoop. Once he does that, he would have more than 20k undead army. It would be like an army of a small country.
Coming the attributes, except for the luck attribute, he didn’t invest in any other attribute. Luck was increased by 4 points, reaching the value of 29.
"As I increase my luck to a higher number, there won’t be any random but only the best", Aaron muttered as he thought about the random skill scroll he has.
This was not the only thing in his position that would spit out something randomly. He has a lot of skills and the wealth he poccess is also great. What he needs was true strength, a good proper foundation.
Having a number of skills would mean shit if those skills are basic. If it was a well known skill, then others have a way to counter that skill easily.
For example, most Fire mages has Fire Ball or Fire Arrow skills.
What people know is that Water is a weakness of Fire. So, as long as one has water skills, they can counter fire skills, but that’s not always possible. If the opponent’s mana is high, then the water would dry before the fire was put out.
Of course, that doesn’t mean there is no way to overcome such a situation.
Those skills are very basic skills and most mages would know how to break them with minimum consumption on their end.
So, even though everyone knows what the opposite of the element one poccess, as long as they don’t know how the skill works, it won’t be easy to counteract them. The only way would be if there was mana differnce between the opponents.
So, Aaron was not just interested in skills anymore. He wanted to get skills that others have no idea about. This way
