DB: Legendary Super Saiyan Bloodline at the Start-Chapter 27: A Good Beating
Chapter 27 - A Good Beating
Goku and Piccolo said their goodbyes to Nail and quickly followed in Cado's footsteps.
"Damn it, let me go! I said let me go, didn't you hear me!?"
Vegeta raged as he yelled at Cado.
Being carried like baggage was an absolute disgrace for the proud Saiyan prince.
But no matter how hard he struggled, he couldn't break free from Cado's grip.
"You'd best behave yourself—save yourself a world of pain."
Cado said calmly.
He was in a great mood right now.
On top of that, his intense battle with Frieza had pushed his energy to a new level.
He could feel it—his power level had increased by about five million.
Which meant his base power level now sat around 21 million.
Before long, Cado arrived at the ship. The large spacecraft still stood firm where they'd left it.
"What the hell are you going to do with me!?"
Vegeta shouted, seething with rage.
Being completely at someone else's mercy wasn't something he took kindly to.
Hearing this, Cado casually let him go.
"Frieza's dead. You don't need to serve him anymore." Cado said plainly.
"I avenged the Saiyan race for you."
Vegeta looked stunned.
"Y-You... What did you say? How do you know we Saiyans had a grudge against Frieza?"
"Heh."
Cado chuckled.
"Doesn't matter how I know. You can fly a spaceship, right? Later, I'll need you to take Goku and Piccolo back to Earth."
Since he had just mastered Instant Transmission, Cado didn't plan on taking the ship himself.
Sure, the technique could transport multiple people.
But since he'd only just learned it, there was a chance of mishaps.
If they ended up floating through space, he might barely survive thanks to his Legendary Saiyan bloodline—but Goku and Piccolo definitely wouldn't.
"Hmph. And what if I refuse?"
Vegeta scoffed with disdain.
He was the Prince of all Saiyans—he wouldn't just take orders like some errand boy.
"That's none of my business. If you can convince Piccolo and Goku, go ahead and do what you want."
Cado replied indifferently.
"Tch."
Vegeta sneered.
Convince them? Easy—just beat them into submission.
'As if I can't handle those two trash bags?'
Roughly three minutes later, Goku and Piccolo arrived.
Cado briefly explained his plan to them.
Although both were hesitant at first, they reluctantly accepted his suggestion.
Originally, Cado intended for the two to fly the ship back themselves.
But remembering how they struggled just driving a car in the original timeline, letting them pilot a spaceship seemed... unreliable at best.
Just to be safe, he'd let Vegeta be the driver.
"Oh right, Cado."
Goku suddenly asked,
"When you were fighting that guy earlier, you used the Kaioken, didn't you? How do you know that move?"
"Huh? Oh, that..."
Cado paused for a second.
"Yeah, I saw you use it when we sparred. It looked interesting, so I tried it out. Next thing I knew, it worked."
He hadn't expected Goku to ask about that, so he just made something up.
"Whoa, that's incredible, Cado! It took me forever to learn it!"
Goku said admiringly.
"You saw it once and picked it up like that?"
He was clearly in awe.
To Goku, Cado was already a godlike figure—capable of anything.
After a bit more casual chatting, it was time to prepare for the return trip.
"Alright, Prince Vegeta, looks like it's your turn to work for once."
Piccolo said with a mocking grin.
"Sorry, but I refuse."
Vegeta said arrogantly.
He still had his pride. If not for Cado's presence, he would've already taken these two out.
"You're Vegeta, right? Hey, don't worry—we're not gonna hurt you. Just need you to take us back."
Goku said kindly, unaware that Vegeta was also a Saiyan.
"Hah! Kakarot, you're just a low-class warrior. You and this Namekian think you can hurt me? Dream on."
Vegeta sneered.
He had recognized Goku's identity long ago—he looked exactly like his stupid father.
No idea how someone like that gave birth to him.
"Oh, so you are a Saiyan? That's awesome! I've been wanting to spar with you!"Goku exclaimed excitedly.
He hadn't met Vegeta before, so he didn't know the details.
"Hmph. You're not worthy."
Vegeta dismissed him coldly.
A prince like him wouldn't sully his hands by fighting a low-class warrior.
"Tired of talking. Guys like him, a good beating does the trick."
Piccolo said, cracking his knuckles.
He hadn't forgotten how arrogant Vegeta had been back on Earth.
Now was a good time to settle the score.
"Heh. You both want to fight? Fine by me. I'll crush you both. You think two pieces of trash can challenge me?"
Vegeta sneered with contempt.
Clearly, he still didn't realize how outmatched he was.
He still believed Goku and Piccolo were weaklings.
Piccolo's lips curled into a smirk.
In a flash, he appeared in front of Vegeta.
Vegeta hadn't expected such speed.
Before he could react—
WHAM BAM BOOM BANG.
He got absolutely clobbered.
In no time at all, the proud prince lay on the ground, bruised and battered.
"Damn it... When did he get so strong?"
Vegeta cursed in his heart, unwilling to accept defeat.
But he didn't dare shout it out loud.
He was afraid Piccolo might give him round two.
"Piccolo, wasn't that a little much? What if you broke him?"
Goku frowned.
But the real reason he was upset... was because Piccolo got to him first.
He'd wanted a turn too!
"Kakarot, no one asked you. Who the hell do you think you are?"
Vegeta suddenly stood up and snapped.
His royal pride couldn't stand being lectured by a low-class warrior.
With that, he threw a punch at Goku.
He needed to vent, and this idiot was the perfect target.
"Geez..."
Cado sighed, shaking his head.
'Looks like Vegeta still doesn't know his place.'
Seeing this, Goku's eyes lit up—he'd been itching for a fight.
And so they went at it.
BAM BAM BAM!!
Another round of royal Saiyan beatdown.

Though both Goku and Piccolo held back, Vegeta still ended up flat on the ground again.
Thankfully, it was nothing serious—just some bruises.
A solid lesson in humility.
