Chapter 135: Chapter 133: Grand entrance...

Athena didn’t choose anybody. Especially with the fact that Rhydric was on her side.

She did the only thing her sanity allowed, and what Rhydric expected from her.

Walked away.

She moved with her head down. Her feet moving faster and faster until it was practically a run.

She didn’t dare look at Theo. Didn’t dare look at Eryx. Didn’t dare glance at Azrael either. None of them make any sense.

She bolted straight into the house.

Behind her, the reaction was immediate.

Theo’s smile stretched, slow and smug, like a cat who knocked something off the counter on purpose.

Not because he was jealous. But, because he loved watching the look on Eryx’s face. It’s precious.

And Eryx...Oh God, he looked like he’d just been stabbed in the ego.

His jaw clenched so hard, that it almost cracked. His entire body tensed. He stared at the spot Athena had just fled from like it personally offended him. Maybe it did. Perhaps, if the floor had glued her on it, she wouldn’t have to move at all.

Then he turned that murderous glare at Theo. And Theodore grin widened.

Eryx moved Fast.

Theo burst out laughing and sprinted across the compound.

Eryx exploded into a full chase. "THEODORE! GET BACK HERE...YOU DEAD MAN WALKING!"

Theo wheezed from laughing while running, looking over his shoulder just to taunt him more.

"Calm down Eryx."

"She didn’t pick me because of YOU, you bastard!" Eryx roared like a rabid wolf.

Theo dodged a flower pot fast. But Eryx didn’t, he crashed into it, and it shattered into pieces.

"LOOK WHAT YOU MADE ME DO!" Eryx’s anger exploded even more.

"Correction...look what your feelings made you do!"

Eryx lunged, but Theo was faster. "You’re dead! You’re DEAD, Theo! When I catch you!"

"You won’t! You have SHORT LEGS!"

"No I don’t...!"

Rhydric watched them, the reaction on his face said enough. ’How on earth did he encounters fools as friends?’

Azrael didn’t even pretend to be the main disaster in the family. A silent disaster. He folded his arms, leaned casually against the pillar, and poured every drop of petty gasoline he possessed onto the fire.

"Eryx, he does run faster than you," he called, deadpan.

Theo perked up. "He knows!"

Eryx threw one of his shoe at Theo.

Theo dodged again.

Azrael continued, voice smooth and wicked. "If Athena had to pick who she’d run toward first, she’d definitely pick Theo. He’s... safer."

Eryx’s growl was feral.

"AZRAEL...SHUT YOUR FUCKING PRETTY MOUTH BEFORE I—!"

"Too slow, Eryx!" Theo yelled from ahead

"You two are dead," Eryx barked. "I’ll kill both of you!"

"Rhydric!" Theo called dramatically. "Aren’t you going to help?"

Rhydric didn’t even turn around as he began to walk away. "No."

Theo gasped. "You’re heartless!"

Azrael smirked evilly. And Eryx picked up speed.

But unfortunately, Tripped and fell. Eryx crashed on top of Theo and tackled him into the floor.

Theo howled dramatically, "MOON GODDESS DO SOMETHING...I’M BEING MURDERES!!!!!!!"

Azrael clapped and burst into laughter.

And Athena, peeking from behind the living room curtain she was hiding behind, and she couldn’t help the smile that pulled wide across her lips.

=====================

Gravecreast Academy.

By the time Athena arrived at school, her heart had barely recovered from the madness she left at Theodore’s house. All of them together are chaotic, and somehow she liked it. See

Well... "arrived" wasn’t accurate. She pulled up, in the same car with the phantom fours.

The moment the sleek black SUV rolled into the school gates, the atmosphere changed.

Students outside paused mid-conversation, mid-step, mid-breathe as they recognized the car.

Whispers started immediately. "Is that...?"

"No way. are they... all together?"

"Who’s in the front seat?"

"That’s Rhydric’ s car, right?"

The door opened before the rumors could fully form.

Athena stepped out first. Her thick white hair was tied into a perfect ponytail, the curls framing her face making her look unfairly soft and heartbreakingly pretty. The morning sunlight hit her like she was made for it.

Her white uniform was perfectly ironed. She walked with a confidence that made people looked at her twice. Or three times

And then... The Phantom Fours stepped out after her like her own personal, deadly entourage.

Eryx straightened his jacket last, eyes instantly locking onto any guy who dared stare too long at Athena.

Theo slid his hands into his pockets, wearing that lazy, beautiful smirk that always spelled trouble.

Azrael adjusted his tie with a slow elegance, his eyes never leaving Athena.

Rhydric simply walked quietly, but unmistakably intimidating.

And the hallway? Athena felt dozens of eyes on her back as she walked but she refused to acknowledge a single one.

Her steps were soft, almost graceful, and every echo of her heels was amplified by the four shadows trailing directly behind her.

She didn’t have to be dramatic. Her presence was loud without her trying.

The whispers exploded the moment they entered the building:

"Holy shit...she’s walking in front of them?"

"Why are they following her like that?"

"Is this... is this a new gang?"

"No, this looks like a cult—"

"Shut up! Phantom Fours don’t walk behind anyone!"

"So why are they walking behind her?!"

"Is she dating one of them? Or maybe all?"

Athena’s expression didn’t change. She kept her gaze straight ahead, pretending her heart wasn’t thrashing in her chest.

But the boys? 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂

Oh, the boys were not subtle.

Azrael’s eyes were glued to her ponytail, like he wanted to tug it.

Theo watched the sway of her hips like he was memorizing it.

Rhydric kept his gaze ahead.

And Eryx? He was watching her legs. Like he just noticed the skirt was short.

Theo leaned in from behind her, voice low and amused enough to curve heat along her spine.

"Looks like you’ve finally become a celebrity, kitsune."

Eryx shot him a glare.

Azrael frowned.

Athena swallowed hard, refusing to turn back and look at the chaos following behind her. But she could feel it.

She could feel everything, the weight of their eyes, the stares of the school, the fire, the jealousy, the protectiveness. And strangely...It didn’t scare her.
