Dating the Heartthrob Superstar-Chapter 56: The Sweet and the Bitter
Chapter 56: Chapter 56: The Sweet and the Bitter
Chapter 56: Bittersweet
As soon as Meng Chao finished speaking, he raised his fist to punch Fang Minghui.
However, his hand was stopped mid-air by Lin Qin.
Meng Chao turned to look at Lin Qin, suppressing his anger. He couldn’t understand why Lin Qin stopped him.
Lin Qin shook his head at Meng Chao and said, "Brother Chao, it’s not worth it."
This person isn’t worth the slightest trouble you might get into. Even hitting him would dirty your hand.
"Alright." Meng Chao withdrew his hand, not because of whether it was worth it, but because he could feel Lin Qin’s hand trembling slightly as he held him.
He suddenly realized that this was not the time to teach Fang Minghui a lesson. Lin Qin needed him more.
Meng Chao grasped Lin Qin’s hand in return, half-hugging him, and didn’t even give Fang Minghui another glance as he took Lin Qin back upstairs.
Fang Minghui couldn’t notice them either; his lower body hurt so much that he curled up entirely, veins bulging on his forehead, cold sweat dripping.
The show’s staff, alerted by the noise, rushed over, understanding what had happened. No one went to help Fang Minghui; it was just his own doing after all.
Fang Minghui felt the gazes falling upon him filled with disdain, and he shouted at the onlookers through gritted teeth, "What are you looking at? Get lost!"
His face was twisted, truly quite frightening.
Eventually, a staff member fetched Yi Ran to take Fang Minghui to the hospital.
Judging by Fang Minghui’s actions tonight, it wouldn’t be a loss even if he was rendered impotent. However, since this happened during the show’s filming, the team still had some humanitarian concern.
Lin Qin and Meng Chao were unaware of what happened downstairs afterward.
Back in the room, Lin Qin couldn’t hold back his emotions any longer. He flung himself into Meng Chao’s embrace, holding him tightly, as if trying to meld into Meng Chao’s bones and blood.
He didn’t even dare close his eyes, because the moment he did, Fang Minghui’s grotesque face would flash in his mind, pulling him back into that previous trauma.
Meng Chao’s large hand gently patted Lin Qin’s back, softly comforting him, "Qinqin, it’s alright, I’m here."
Meng Chao’s own palms were sweaty, and looking back, he was deeply frightened. He never imagined that in the time it took to answer a phone call, Lin Qin would be subjected to such harm.
If he had arrived just a moment later...
Meng Chao didn’t dare think further, only managing to hold Lin Qin tightly in his embrace, feeling Lin Qin’s presence, slightly easing his fear.
After that, they both remained silent, comforting each other with their warmth.
Perhaps it was their deep feelings for each other, or maybe a simple embrace was no longer enough to console them. Before they knew it, their lips and tongues intertwined, limbs tangled.
They embraced and collapsed onto the bed, clothes slipping off amid caresses.
As a kiss ended, Meng Chao looked at Lin Qin pinned beneath him, feeling a surge of heat and pain below, the fiery passion spreading everywhere. Yet he restrained his impulse, planting a kiss on Lin Qin’s forehead, asking, "Qinqin, is this okay?"
Lin Qin raised his arms to circle around Meng Chao’s neck, initiating a kiss, "Brother Chao, take me." Take me hard.
This sentence snapped Meng Chao’s taut string of reason. Like a raging storm, kisses swept over Lin Qin, mountainous and oceanic desires engulfing them, instantly plunging them into the abyss of desire.
...
Chu Hong heard about Lin Qin’s situation from the staff and hurried over.
When she arrived at Lin Qin’s room door, she found it ajar due to Meng Chao and Lin Qin’s hasty return. As she was about to knock, she heard unbearable noises leaking through the gap.
Her knocking motion swiftly turned to closing the door. With good room soundproofing, once the door was shut, the sounds were blocked out.
The director was also concerned about Lin Qin and ran into Chu Hong as he was coming upstairs.
"How’s Lin Qin doing?" the director asked with concern.
Chu Hong replied calmly, "He should be fine, he’s already asleep. We shouldn’t disturb him."
"Alright." The director didn’t press further and left with Chu Hong.
As they were about to part, the director called out to Chu Hong, "Please convey my apologies to Lin Qin. It was our oversight, after all."
Chu Hong was initially angry when she heard about it. Where were the show’s staff? How could they let this happen?
In retrospect, she realized it wasn’t entirely the crew’s fault. No one expected Fang Minghui to be such a person. Even Chu Hong believed Fang Minghui would at least have some dignity and conscience, at least not forcing himself in public view.
And yet, Fang Minghui was that disgusting.
"It’s not your fault." Chu Hong remained reasonable, "This incident isn’t related to the crew. Just, in the future, if we need evidence, I hope the crew can stand up."
Chu Hong wouldn’t let this slide. Since Fang Minghui acted this way, they hadn’t to blame when old and new scores were settled together.
The director gladly agreed, "Of course, of course."
It’s already good enough that Lin Qin’s side isn’t pursuing their mistakes. Just coming out to provide testimony when the time comes is not hard at all.
...
A wild night of passion ended only in the latter half, with Meng Chao carrying Lin Qin to wash away the stickiness in the bathroom. When they returned, Lin Qin showed no signs of sleepiness, his eyes wide open, unblinkingly gazing at Meng Chao.
Meng Chao kissed Lin Qin and asked with a smile, "What’s up?"
Lin Qin shook his head, "Just felt that it’s really nice to have you around."
In the boundless darkness, he found his light. His world began to brighten. The wall built around his heart, isolating him from communication and interaction with the world, collapsed because of Meng Chao. No longer isolated and helpless, he finally had the courage to say hello to the world again.
"You’re great too." Meng Chao held Lin Qin in his arms, his hand caressing Lin Qin’s delicate skin with fondness.
If he hadn’t considered it was Lin Qin’s first time, Meng Chao wouldn’t have stopped so early.
Outside, the night was pitch black. The sounds of insects and flowing water were particularly loud, almost noisy.
But to Lin Qin, everything felt peaceful, a peace that brought tranquility to his soul. He tightly hugged Meng Chao’s waist, pondering for a long time before opening up, "Brother Chao, have I ever told you about my childhood?"
"Hmm?" Meng Chao lowered his gaze to him, raising an eyebrow slightly, "Qinqin, do you want to share with me?"
Lin Qin nodded.
"Then I’m all ears."
In the relatively noisy night, Lin Qin, with his clear and pure voice, narrated the sweet and bitter past, including that period of extreme darkness during high school.
