The Wang Family Elder smiled, yet the other elders subtly sealed off all directions around them.
Chong Xiao, with the most volatile temper, glared angrily, "What if we refuse?"

As his words fell, Chong Xiao immediately soared into the air. A flash of light appeared in his hand, revealing a heavy Big Halberd, which he fiercely slashed down at the pig-like Wang Family elder.
A roaring Gang Qi about ten feet long tore through the air, instantly arriving in front of the elder.
The obese Elder Wang Xu’s cultivation was only at the Second-Layer Golden Core Realm. His true strength might not even match that of Chong Xiao at full power, but they had numbers on their side.
Wang Xu opened his mouth, spitting out a beam of gold light that landed in his hand, swelling up into a golden brick. The brick was densely carved with runes and emanated powerful energy waves.
Seeing the Gang Qi descending, Wang Xu immediately sacrificially summoned the brick like a shield in front of him.
"Boom!" The Gang Qi collided with the brick, shattering upon impact, leaving only a shallow mark on the golden brick.
"Hmph, refusing a toast only to drink a forfeit. You’re asking for this!"
Wang Xu snorted coldly, chanting an incantation, causing the golden brick to continue growing, expanding to a size of one yard long and wide, which he then hurled at Chong Xiao.
Chong Xiao’s expression changed, and he likewise summoned his Long Halberd, holding it horizontally in front of him. It blocked the falling golden brick with a "clang," but the tremendous power still made Chong Xiao’s body sway.
Both men poured their mana desperately into their spiritual artifacts in mid-air stalemate, the light from the Long Halberd and the golden brick intertwined, with mana waves washing over the surroundings like ocean waves.
"Is that all?" Chong Xiao thought to himself, a bit disdainful.
Though there were five elders here from the Wang Family, the strongest was only at the Third Layer of Golden Core Realm, as this was just a branch of the Wang Family.
In this bloodline, the most powerful was the patriarch, with cultivation at the Golden Core Realm Fifth Layer.
Chong Xiao felt he could take on the pig-like elder before him, yet before he could strike, a blue bead emitting a blue light suddenly smashed into his waist.
"Despicable, you dare ambush me!"
Chong Xiao cursed furiously as the mana in his body became chaotic. The golden brick took advantage, harshly pressing down, knocking away the Long Halberd and pounding Chong Xiao heavily into the ground.

Meanwhile, Zhang Yunyi was not in a good situation either. As Chong Xiao made his move, he immediately summoned three talismans that revolved around him, forming a golden mana shield.
The attacks from the Wang Family elders only caused ripples to appear on the shield.

Wang Xu held the golden brick spiritual artifact, shouting as he summoned it, its golden light fiercely smashing into the talisman shield.

Zhang Yunyi’s eyes grew cold, his Peach Wood Sword flew out from his back. Although it was a wooden sword, it emitted a sharp Sword Qi. With a point from his finger, the Peach Wood Sword turned into lightning, stabbing towards one of the Wang Family elders.
"Hmph, still resisting, these so-called prodigies are nothing special!"
The elder targeted by the Peach Wood Sword had a white beard and hair, with a leopard head and round eyes, clearly a hot-tempered person, his angry bellowing sounding like thunder.
He glared furiously, massive mana on top of his head condensed into a tiger head phantom, ferociously biting at the Peach Wood Sword.

Both Zhang Yunyi and Chong Xiao bled from the corners of their mouths, their arms tightly bound by black chains.

Elder Wang Tuo retrieved the saber, suspending Zhang Yunyi and Chong Xiao with chains, flying them far away from Yaoxing City.

Chong Xiao’s body was bound and immobile, mainly due to Wang Xu previously using the golden brick spiritual artifact twice on him, making him feel like his bones were broken.
Zhang Yunyi shook his head, lightly saying, "It’s not the right time yet."
The two were flown in the air for a full hour before finally stopping at the entrance of a valley.
The valley was shrouded in mist, evidently blocked by an array.
Chong Xiao and Zhang Yunyi exchanged a glance, knowing they had finally arrived at the right place, not surprising they couldn’t find clues within the Wang Family, as everything was hidden outside!
Wang Xu unfastened a token from his waist and waved it outside the valley, opening a passage through the array, the five slowly walked in.
After entering the valley, Zhang Yunyi and Chong Xiao were dumbfounded, as they smelled a strong stench of blood, and the valley was suffused with blood energy.
On either side of the path lay numerous bones, casually discarded on the ground, forming a thick layer, even human skin-made demon artifacts planted in the ground emanated terrifying blood light.
In the middle of the valley was a massive Blood Pool, and above the pool hung dozens of cultivators bound to pillars, chains piercing through their scapulas.
