Bell completed the Status update. The new sheet included a skill called "Hope" and an additional Development Ability, "Time."

"Time" was easy to understand, but this new "Hope" skill was simply too abstract. Judging from its short description, the skill looked like a straight-up bug.

The description ignored the usual rule that the fewer the words, the stronger the skill.

Despite its implications, "Hope" expressed everything in just two lines:

"What is completely impossible does not exist. Anything with even a sliver of possibility can absolutely be achieved."

Only the final line—"can be judged as High Luck"—left Bell confused. Everything else seemed clear enough, practically spelling out "the power of me thinking really hard."

But Bell didn’t believe the skill was that exaggerated.

That "Luck judgment" clause was probably the biggest limitation imposed on the other two lines.

And speaking of Luck... Bell looked up the sheet again.

There, plain as day, sat "Heaven’s Luck." A high Luck judgment didn’t sound like much of an obstacle for him.

Still, Bell didn’t think "Hope" was something he could use casually or arbitrarily.

This "alternate version of thinking power" definitely had restrictions.

’Turning the impossible into the possible... Why does this feel more and more like that concept?’

Naturally, the "thing" he meant was the embodiment of miracles — the kind of principle used to describe the origin of the gods or even the structure of the world.

"If that’s really the case, then this ’Hope’ certainly gives me the greatest hope."

"Bell, this ’Hope’ skill is ridiculous!"

Hestia’s words echoed Bell’s own thoughts. The skill truly was absurd.

"Indeed. Turning the impossible into possible, making the possible inevitable... even the power of gods can’t do something so outrageous."

Freya also sensed something off.

"I don’t think this skill can be judged freely."

Hephaestus shared her opinion.

"With a skill of this level, of course not."

Loki added.

"A skill this abnormal clearly has a limit on how many times it can trigger. If it didn’t, Bell would have become broken beyond reason already."

"Or... maybe this skill exists solely for Bell’s promotion."

That conclusion drew unanimous agreement from the other goddesses.

Bell’s ascension was close. No one could predict what path awaited him. If this skill could break boundaries, it might well be a "Bell-exclusive Promotion Skill."

Of course, whether it truly was exclusive would only be proven with time.

And Bell wasn’t going to stop training just because of a possibility like that. If it were that easy, he would’ve been winning effortlessly already.

So Bell simply ignored the skill’s implications altogether, pretending it didn’t exist.

"For now, let’s not think about it. No matter how you look at it, it’s difficult to judge."

"I’m not going to stake anything on something so vague. It’s better to keep following my original plan."

Bell’s nature rejected any shortcut to power that didn’t require effort.

No matter how convenient, it felt unreliable.

Thus, he chose to disregard it.

Treat it like any ordinary skill — nothing more.

The goddesses understood and dropped the topic.

Following Bell’s original path was the right choice. Time was tight, but not hopeless.

And compared to relying on "Hope," Bell himself was far more dependable.

They had also considered another issue:

"When Bell ascends and loses the Falna... will this skill even matter?"

Clearly not.

At that realization, the goddesses exchanged glances.

They all saw the same question in each other’s eyes, yet none spoke it aloud.

Because Bell himself wasn’t influenced by the skill at all.

Should they be thankful he’d always been this kind of person?

Each of them sighed internally.

’Although his cautious, overthinking nature causes problems sometimes... in moments like this, it’s incredibly valuable.’

Which was why none of them brought up the skill again.

"Bell, you should be heading back now, right?"

"Yeah."

Bell hadn’t noticed the earlier shared glances. He had been deep in thought about timing.

Loki’s reminder snapped him back to the present, and Ais’s face surfaced in his mind.

"I need to hurry back."

"When we killed the ’Corrupted Spirit’s Fetus’ on the 80th floor, the commotion drew out Juggernaut. I was worried Ais might try to lure it out, so I explained its traits and weaknesses in detail earlier."

"I need to keep an eye on her now, so she doesn’t do something dangerous at such a critical time."

Just mentioning his student gave Bell a slight headache. 𝕗𝐫𝚎𝗲𝘄𝐞𝕓𝐧𝕠𝘃𝕖𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝚖

Though months of training had tempered Ais’s temperament, remembering her past impulsive tendencies meant Bell could never fully let his guard down.

"Then get going."

"Right..."

Bell steadied his mind — a Dungeon student required close supervision.

But before leaving, he lifted his head and looked at his goddesses.

In one swift motion, he flashed past them, lightly brushing his lips against each of theirs.

"I’ll be going now."
