Damned Healer-Chapter 105: Healer’s Cheat!
Chapter 105 - Healer’s Cheat!
Matteo and the woman roared, charging straight at the Primordial Beast. Their bodies looked like they were wrapped in intense orange flames. They knew their blessings alone were useless against something like that. So, they channeled all the energy from the rings they carried into a single, brute-force attack.
The plan was simple — go all in at once. Every bit of their power went into the strike. Matteo's spear and the tank's axe shot forward like lightning bolts toward the target.
The beast locked onto them, furious, and tried to gather some power to strike back. Its claw moved—
*CLANG!*
But this time, it slammed into a wind barrier and stopped cold. Gregor's team's support used her blessing, burning with fury.
Leander opened his eyes.
"Rise!"
He shouted, unleashing his full power. Right as the two tanks were about to reach the enemy, the beast's eyes went wide.
Gravity around it seemed to flip. Its feet were ripped from the ground, and its massive body lost balance.
*CRASH!*
The tanks smashed into it head-on while it was wide open.
The impact launched it through the air, slamming the Primordial Beast hard into the hall's wall. Its body sank into the structure, kicking up a thick cloud of dust.
The whole underground hall shook like it was about to collapse.
*ROAR!*
A deafening roar echoed, followed by an explosive, invisible wave of energy that blew away the dust and shattered the entire wall.
The beast didn't take any real damage, but—
"I'm in!" Veyle shouted excitedly.
No one could see her mist, but using the opening, Veyle managed to slip inside the enemy's body.
"Now!" Gregor ordered.
In that exact moment, two shadows burst from the void, already inches from the target.
Red hair whipped through the air, followed by a slash that could cut anything in half.
**SLASH!**
"AH!!"
A deep, guttural scream tore through the air, followed by the sharp, dry sound of meat and metal-like bones breaking.
Harper, pushing her blessing to the limit, broke through the enemy's defenses in a single clean strike.
Her blade cut deep, slicing a three-meter gash across the monster's chest. Before the violet blood even had a chance to spurt out, Eric came in from the side, taking advantage of the opening. His attack hit right in the wound, increasing the damage with surgical precision.
They had both been cloaked under Eric's blessing — invisible until the very last second.
That demon basically dug its own grave by setting up that trap inside the hall. Even though Gregor had sealed the Demonic Mantle, its presence still lingered in the environment, blocking natural elements. That's why Eric's stealth blessing could be used at full power.
And Harper... her offensive blessing was devastating, but it only lasted for a few seconds. Her blade was made for one cut only.
They waited for the right moment — the one perfect moment.
Gregor was stunned. The battle unfolded naturally, but it was only possible because of their skills... and the healer's cheat!
First, the artifacts exploded, throwing the target off. Then came the sudden loss of its power. At the same time, the tanks went in, forcing a fast reaction.
The beast was insanely strong and did counterattack, but it failed... because of a healer. Then the mages made it go full defense mode.
That's when the healer showed divine power by restoring both tanks in seconds. They came back in full force, now knowing exactly how to hit it.
That pressure forced it to open up.
That was all it took.
The enemy never noticed the two assassins moving in — and even if it had, it trusted its monstrous defense way too much.
In the end, it got hit with a deep slash, almost splitting it in half. Violet blood gushed out like some kind of profane fountain, painting the floor and walls.
But...
The Primordial Beast's eyes narrowed.
A twisted smile crept onto its blood-covered face. There was mockery there — it still had something left. A hidden trump card.
*Pshhk!*
A dry, subtle sound reached everyone's ears.
A blade tore through the air at insane speed — so fast no one saw when it was thrown or even moving. They only heard the delayed sound of flesh being pierced.
"Rhaaagh!!"
The beast roared, coughing up blood, eyes wide in shock.
The mockery vanished — replaced by confusion and pain.
Everyone looked at its chest — and saw.
A dagger. Buried straight into its heart.
Only one person came to mind, and everyone turned toward Darian. He had a completely blank expression... which somehow looked exactly like an unhinged maniac!
Eleven daggers floated around him, hanging in the air like snakes ready to strike.
It was definitely him who struck. But how the hell did he do it so fast? Everyone there was experienced, and this was already the second time. The only way he could've pulled that off... was if he'd sensed the hidden intent before the beast even acted...
Him? A healer? They all thought the same thing.
"Oh?" he mumbled with an innocent look. "He was gonna use a trump card, right?"
Silence.
Of course he was.
'Those daggers... they don't have any offensive power... they shouldn't be able to kill it like that... let alone pierce its skin.' Gregor was the most shaken. He recognized those flying weapons. That metal was weird, not something that could fuse with anything to boost its strength.
'Shit, I gave myself away,' Darian thought, tense.
While the silence thickened in the devastated hall, the enemy's body began to twitch. It started groaning in deep agony. Black lines spread across its skin like living veins.
Leander stepped forward, everyone's eyes locked on the sight — the lines digging deeper into the creature, corroding it from within.
It was like a living poison, sadistically eating it alive, slow and deliberate.
"Did we win?" Veyle murmured.
Then, suddenly—
Darian froze.
'Pfff...'
He heard it — a soft, melodic exhale.
*RUMBLE*
The ground shook violently.
A deep, thunderous sound ripped through the underground like the earth itself was collapsing from within.
At the same time, a blinding light — white and black — burst out behind them like a second sun.
Everyone turned, and pure, primal fear gripped their souls.
At the center of the altar... it was the book.
It hovered a few meters above the ground — the source of everything.
The lights weren't colliding, but spinning around each other, weaving together — like the perfect balance between birth and destruction, light and shadow.
Darian staggered a step forward, his whole body reacting. Something inside him pulsed hard.
The twin lights spiraled around the book... then began to merge.
The energy took shape.
First, a thin, translucent hand emerged from the light...
...long, ethereal fingers gently grasped the book.
Then, like a divine veil weaving itself into the air, a sacred silhouette slowly materialized.
Tall. Elegant. Subtle curves, perfectly proportioned. Definitely feminine.
But her face, her body... everything was covered—no features, no flesh. Just a silhouette.
The only thing clearly visible were her hands... two symbols. One white. One black. Glowing like stars.
Everyone held their breath.
No one could move a single muscle.
It was suffocating.
It was divine.
It was impossible.
For a moment, they felt like ants under a sky that had decided to fall to Earth.
Five seconds. Maybe less.
And then—
A voice filled the hall.
Soft, melodic... and indifferent.
"Vanish."
**BOOOOOOOOOOM!!!**
The world shattered.
The underground imploded.
There was no time to scream. No time to think.
The explosion didn't come from her body, or her fists — but from reality itself twisting and breaking apart.
Their minds went dark.
They were just... swallowed by annihilation.
