Chapter 360: Chapter 360: Companionship Is the Deepest Confession of Love

"Hello Grandpa, hello Uncle Evan."

The two little ones obediently greeted Hunter and Benjamin.

"Hello to you both."

Hunter and Benjamin faced the camera, smiling broadly.

"Wow, my grandsons are really adorable. Let Grandpa guess, who’s Charlie and who’s Bea?"

Hunter couldn’t get enough of the twin brothers.

He looked at this one and then that one, starting to guess who’s who.

Dominic and Bea exchanged a glance. Bea’s big eyes darted around before quickly wiping off his playful expression, putting on a serious face.

The two of them looked practically identical.

With Bea deliberately putting on a serious face, he looked exactly like Dominic.

"You’re Charlie, right? You’re Bea, right?"

Hunter smiled knowingly at the two little ones, correctly stating their nicknames.

"Wow, Grandpa, you’re so clever. How did you guess?"

Bea sweetly asked with wide eyes.

Hunter laughed even more, "I heard your mommy say Charlie is a bit more reserved, and Bea is more lively. I wouldn’t have guessed if you didn’t smile just now."

"So Mommy analyzed it, huh? But Grandpa, you still have sharp eyes. Right, brother?"

"Yeah, old but wise."

"..."

The two little ones praised Hunter, making him delightfully happy.

"Elly, I really love these two little grandsons. How about bringing them home to raise? Anyway, that Hawke kid doesn’t remember you now, we don’t need him."

Upon hearing this, Amelia paused slightly, then looked at the two little ones with a smile and a tear.

"I have no objections; what do you two think?"

The two little ones exchanged glances, and Dominic solemnly said, "Grandpa, sorry, we can’t leave here for now. Dad loves Mommy very much, but he’s currently being controlled by bad people. We need to stay and watch the bad woman until Mommy figures out a solution."

"Mm, brother is right, we must wait for Dad to recover and then visit Grandpa together."

Bea agreed.

Hunter looked at the two little ones and pretended to be discontent, "Your dad is so useless. How can he be controlled by a bad woman? When he recovers, I won’t let him bring your mommy home too quickly; I’ll put some obstacles."

The two little ones exchanged glances and blinked.

"Grandpa, it’s not Dad’s fault; he didn’t mean to."

"Grandpa, how do you plan to put obstacles for Dad?"

Upon hearing this, Hunter raised an eyebrow.

He was just joking, teasing the two little ones.

But since they asked, he...

"Your mommy is so great, of course, I’m going to find her a man better than your dad!"

The two little ones: "..."

Amelia: "..."

Listening to everyone’s conversation, Benjamin’s lips curled slightly.

"Uncle Miles, don’t tease the two little ones; they’re getting anxious."

Benjamin stepped in to mediate.

"Ahem, Dad, the food’s getting cold, shall we eat first?"

Amelia quickly agreed.

Hunter looked at Benjamin, then Amelia, and then back at the camera, his grin widening.

"Kids, see that? A man better than your dad is right before you!"

Amelia: "..."

Benjamin: "..."

The two little ones: "..."

So, Grandpa wants to take this opportunity to match Mommy with Uncle Evan?

No way!

"Alright, Dad, stop teasing them."

Amelia saw the conversation getting more inappropriate, quickly turning the phone camera on herself.

"Charlie, Bea, where are you guys now? Have you eaten?"

"We’re in the kids’ room, Mommy..."

Dominic looked at Amelia, hesitating to finish.

Amelia understood the kids’ concerns and chuckled softly, "Grandpa was just joking with you earlier! Has Dad not returned yet?"

"Nope, he’s still at the company."

Dominic nodded.

"Mommy, don’t worry, although that bad woman is also at the company, brother and I know they haven’t been together all day."

Bea said quickly.

"Brother is right, Mommy. I put tracking devices on their phones."

Dominic said.

Amelia smiled knowingly, "I know, with you guys around, Mommy isn’t worried about Dad at all. Okay then, I’ll have dinner with Grandpa."

"Okay. Goodbye Mommy, goodbye Grandpa, goodbye Uncle Evan."

The two little ones politely said goodbye to everyone.

After hanging up, Bea blinked, "Brother, call Dad and remind him he must stay in touch with Mommy."

Dominic nodded, "Right, I’ll call Dad now."

They can’t really let Uncle Evan take advantage of the situation.

Dad needs to keep in touch with Mommy.

Dominic dialed Damon’s number.

At Hawke Group, the phone rang while Damon was still busy.

Seeing it was his son’s call, he raised an eyebrow and answered.

"Hello?"

"Dad, are you still busy?"

"Almost done, what’s up?"

"Dad, while you’re working, don’t forget to secretly keep in touch with Mommy."

Through the line came the sweet voices of the two little ones, taking turns to speak.

Damon’s eyes twinkled slightly with interest.

"Did you meet Mommy? Did you discover anything?"

Why, out of the blue, did the two suddenly remind him to contact Amelia?

It somehow felt like much ado about nothing.

"Dad, we didn’t find anything, just reminding you. Mommy’s very popular; if you don’t stay in touch, we’re afraid other suitors will attract her."

Dominic said seriously.

"Yes, Dad, remember, girls need to be pampered. Accompaniment is the longest love confession."

Bea’s big eyes fluttered, quoting words from an ad on TV.

Damon couldn’t help but chuckle, "So young, where did you learn these things? Don’t worry, your Mommy loves me very much. Even if I don’t contact her, she’ll still keep me in mind."

He couldn’t forget the way the little woman looked at him.

Full of admiration and affection.

For his sake, she even firmly said she’d find him medicine.

She would never be tempted by anything else just because they were temporarily apart.

"Dad, you’re so confident."

Dominic frowned slightly and said.

"Not confident, narcissistic." Bea corrected him.

Damon felt the urge to laugh again, "Alright, I heard someone calling you to eat, hurry and have your meal, I’ve noted your advice."

"Okay, Dad, come back soon." Dominic responded.

"Dad, remember, Victoria’s a bad woman, Mommy is the one you love most."

Bea reminded him anxiously again.

Damon laughed lightly, responded with a hum, and hung up the phone.

Looking at the dark screen phone, his fingers tapped the desk subconsciously.

Amelia went to visit the Miles family today; could there still be someone from the Miles family there?

Otherwise, the two little ones wouldn’t be this anxious.

When he gets back, he definitely needs to thoroughly question someone.

Ping, a message came in on his phone.

A message from Chase Quinn.

Damon opened it at a glance, his lips curling into a cold smile.

Victoria went out today, and it turns out she met Henry Harris!

And she brought back a package!

Looks like she plans to do something to him?
