Daddy is too Strong-Chapter 254
Seoul City Hall, Fissure Management Division.
Do-Jun was reading an official document from the Hunter’s Bureau. It was a request to submit the name of the person responsible for the National Hunter Academy’s Fissure field trip scheduled for April, a program that offered students from the Academy a chance to tour a Fissure.
Although Do-Jun had previously led a field trip to an F-rank Fissure for first-year students last year, this time it was for third-year students. To make things even more challenging, the Fissure they were scheduled to visit was an A-rank Great Fissure—significantly more dangerous.
After a brief moment of deliberation, Do-Jun wrote down his own name.

The next day, at Behemoth Guild office, Jun-Yeol enjoyed a relaxed afternoon playing a dating simulation game on his smartphone. After exhausting himself hunting in the Core, he found comfort in the cheerful voices of the virtual girls, their sweetness easing his tired mind and making him smile.
⌜Oppa, I really really like you!⌟
One of the virtual characters shyly confessed.
Jun-Yeol glanced around, double-checking that the office was empty, then cleared his throat and read the protagonist’s lines aloud.
“I like you t...”
At that moment, the door swung open with a bang, and someone walked in.
“...too.”
The intruder was none other than Kang-Hyun. They looked at each other. Then, Kang-Hyun casually sat down on the sofa across from him, clearly unfazed. Feeling awkward, Jun-Yeol quickly exited the game, opened MeTube, and played a video on current affairs and economics.
“The exchange rate went up, huh,” he muttered in a stiff tone.
Kang-Hyun sighed softly and pulled out a document from the stack of approval files he had brought. He handed it to Jun-Yeol.
“What’s this?” Jun-Yeol asked.
“It’s the schedule for the Fissure field trip this April.”
“Hm.” Jun-Yeol barely glanced at it before putting it down.
“You’re in charge of Class 3-A.”
“Tsk. What a hassle.”
“It’d be better to prepare ahead of time,” Kang-Hyun suggested.
“Prepare for what? All I have to do is walk them through the Fissure and bring them back.”
The Fissure field trip was an annual event. For Class 3-A, made up of the academy’s top students, the program was elevated to a high level: they would explore an A-rank Great Fissure with an S-rank Hunter as their guide.
Jun-Yeol’s face showed his complete lack of enthusiasm.
“By the way, Supervisor Lee is in charge of Class 3-A’s field trip,” Kang-Hyun remarked.
Jun-Yeol, who had been practically lying down on the sofa, immediately sat up straight. He rechecked the document to confirm Kang-Hyun’s words. The supervisor assigned to Class 3-A’s trip to the Great Fissure, Dark Ogre’s Forest, was listed as Lee Do-Jun from Seoul City Hall, not a Hunter’s Bureau staff member.
“Oh my...”
“The Fissure’s located in Daehyeonsan Mountain Park. Make sure to scout the area beforehand. There’s still plenty of time, but if you mess up on the day, Supervisor Lee won’t be pleased,” Kang-Hyun reminded him.
Jun-Yeol hurriedly grabbed his coat, and seeing that, Kang-Hyun tilted his head and asked, “You’re going right away?”
“Senior, this is an extremely urgent matter that requires immediate attention.”
“There’s still time, you know?”
Ignoring him, Jun-Yeol stormed out of the office, slamming the door behind him.

For the students of Hunter Academy, S-rank Hunters were nothing short of idols. As some of the world’s strongest Hunters, Korea’s S-rank Hunters were internationally renowned, especially Behemoth Guild, whose fame was soaring due to their recent efforts in the Core.
The students of Class 3-A gathered in the small auditorium, buzzing with excitement. The reason? Word had spread that Jun-Yeol, also known as the “Spear King,” and ranked second among Korea’s Hunters, would personally visit them.
“I bet it’s about the Fissure field trip.”
“Yeah, what else could it be?”
“Hey, if we make a good impression on this field trip, do you think we would have a shot at getting into Behemoth?”
After graduation, third-year students officially started their Hunter careers. Their first step was to join a guild or management agency, which was why they worked so hard to get top marks at the academy. Everyone wanted to catch the eye of an S-rank Hunter and secure a place in a prestigious guild.
“He’s here!”
“Quiet, everyone!”
Jun-Yeol stepped onto the stage. His model-like stature, even visible through his thick coat, and his handsome features made the students admire him even more.
He tapped the microphone a few times to confirm it was working, then gripped it.
“Is everyone here?” he asked.
His first words were blunt and informal, but none of the students complained—Jun-Yeol was one of the First Hunters, a legendary senior to them all.
“Yes, sir!” they answered in unison.
Jun-Yeol nodded, scanning the eager faces of the students. Their eyes sparkled with anticipation.
“Good, then, let’s get started.”

Class 3-A gathered with Jun-Yeol at Daehyeonsan Mountain Park. Inside the park was a restricted area where the entrance to the Great Fissure, Dark Ogre’s Forest, was located.
Jun-Yeol smiled as he looked at the students dressed in their Hunter suits. Well, to be precise, he was smiling at the cleaning tools each of them was holding.
A male student, Kang Min-Sung, the class president, cautiously approached Jun-Yeol, broom in hand. “Excuse me, Hunter Ryu...”
“What?”
“What are we supposed to do now?”
“Clean.” Jun-Yeol shrugged as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
The students were dumbfounded, each and every single one asking in their minds, Why?
Gathering everyone only to make them clean a Fissure? It felt like a terrible prank.
Seeing their disheartened faces, Jun-Yeol narrowed his eyes. With a cold, intimidating gaze, he said, “Raise your hand if you don’t want to clean.”
The students exchanged glances, hesitating. While they wanted to impress the S-rank Hunter, this task of literal cleaning felt absurd. A few brave students slowly raised their hands.
Jun-Yeol looked at each of them silently, making eye contact with them one by one. That was all he did. He just stared at them.
The students started feeling awkward, and eventually, those who had raised their hands lowered them sheepishly.
When everyone put their hands down, Jun-Yeol nodded in satisfaction and said, “Good. Now, let’s get started.”

The third-year students, under Jun-Yeol’s leadership, were tasked with cleaning up Dark Ogre’s Forest.
In truth, the “cleaning” was nothing more than clearing the forest paths. Still, the students had to sweep the trails and collect debris into burlap sacks. Occasionally, when a Dark Ogre approached, Jun-Yeol would teach the students effective strategies to take it down and demonstrate them himself.
While doing all of that, Jun-Yeol didn’t just focus on the students. He also carefully observed the surroundings of the Fissure, checking for protruding rocks or hidden traps along the paths.
“Sorry, Hunter Ryu, but... why exactly are we doing this?” The question came from Min-Sung, drawing the attention of the other students.
At that moment, a Dark Ogre roared and charged at Jun-Yeol. With a swift kick, he sent the ogre flying. The students, witnessing the scene, gawked with their mouths open.
Jun-Yeol turned back to the students as if nothing had happened and asked, “You really want to know?”
“Yes, we do...”
“It’s because someone more important than the president of our nation is coming to visit.”
The students froze, their minds racing. Who could possibly be more important than the president?
Min-Sung hesitantly raised his hand and asked, “C-could it be the Chief of the Hunter’s Bureau?”
“No, this person is above the Bureau Chief.”
“Huh...?”
Who in the world could that be?
It didn’t make sense. The Chief of the Hunter’s Bureau was rumored to wield the most influence across the entire globe. Yet Jun-Yeol claimed there was someone who could leave even the Chief flustered.
“Well, even if it’s not for a grand reason, it’s nice to keep things tidy, right?” Jun-Yeol asked.
He avoided giving any more explanation. He almost fell into the trap of overselling the greatness of “that person.” Doing so could have put his own life at risk, so he chose to hold back. In truth, the only reason for all this effort was to make sure the upcoming visit went as smoothly and safely as possible, without any accidents or incidents.
Jun-Yeol chuckled in satisfaction.
There was no man more desperate for Do-Jun’s praise than Ryu Jun-Yeol.

The next day, and the day after that, the third-year Class A students continued their work at Daehyeonsan Mountain Park.
Jun-Yeol handed out notebooks to the students gathered in front of the park. The notebooks' contents were simple: maps of the entire Dark Ogre’s Forest, a list of the monsters they might encounter, and strategies for dealing with them.
“Whenever there’s spare time, we’ll keep exploring the Fissure. The goal is to get so skilled that you can handle Dark Ogres with your eyes closed. Basically, you’re all stuck with me for the time being. Anyone with complaints, raise your hand now.”
No one raised their hand. They knew it would be pointless.
On the contrary, the students were secretly delighted by Jun-Yeol’s words. After all, a Ranker was taking time out of his schedule to help them gain practical experience in an A-rank Great Fissure.
“Yes, sir!”
The students responded enthusiastically, which brought a sly grin to Jun-Yeol’s face. What a bunch of fools—so gullible.
All of this was part of his plan to earn Do-Jun’s approval. Unaware of this, the students eagerly followed him, like baby birds waiting to be fed, oblivious to the true motive behind his actions.
Jun-Yeol chuckled to himself.

Finally, the weekend came.
Do-Jun left his house early for Daehyeonsan Mountain Park. Although the Fissure observation season in April was still far away, he decided it would be wise to update the map of Dark Ogre’s Forest in advance.
When he reached the entrance of the Fissure, he noticed a notebook lying on the ground titled Dark Ogre’s Forest Guidebook. He was about to open it to check its contents when he saw a teenage boy running toward him.
The boy stopped in front of Do-Jun and pointed to the notebook in his hand. “Excuse me... I think that’s mine.”
Smiling, Do-Jun handed it back.
“Thank you!”
“Are you a student at the Hunter Academy?”
“Yes, I’m a third-year... Ah!”
Min-Sung’s eyes widened when he noticed the government ID around Do-Jun’s neck.
“Lee Do-Jun, Fissure Management Division, Seoul City Hall.”
This was definitely the person in charge of the upcoming Fissure field trip in April.
“Wait... Are you the person overseeing the observation trip?” Min-Sung asked.
Do-Jun nodded. Then he looked at the notebook in Min-Sung’s hand and asked, “Did you make that guidebook yourself?” 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖
“No... Hunter Ryu Jun-Yeol made it for us.”
“I see.”
“Yes! You wouldn’t believe how kind he is. Even though he must be busy, he takes the time to teach us! I mean, making us clean is a bit much, but...”
“Cleaning? What kind of cleaning do you do?”
Min-Sung hesitated but then started explaining. They used different cleaning tools to clear debris, trim overgrown vegetation, remove rocks from the paths, and level the ground.
“Oh, and there’s something I’d like to ask...” He trailed off.
“Go ahead.” Do-Jun encouraged him.
Min-Sung swallowed nervously and asked, “We heard that on the field trip, someone very important will be coming. Do you know who it is?”
“Someone important?” That was news to Do-Jun.
“I heard even the Chief of the Hunter’s Bureau is intimidated by them. Apparently, that’s who all this cleaning is for.”
“Ah...”
Do-Jun sighed and rubbed his temple.
