Chapter 119: 119 I’m not sleepy!_1

Huo Jinnan yanked Che Huan over, facing him, and placed the tie in her hands, "Just tie it however."

"..."

She already said she couldn’t, yet he still wanted her to tie the tie. Was he deaf to human speech?

Che Huan had no choice; if she didn’t tie it, she feared she would have to stand like this indefinitely!

Suddenly, a powerful force gripped her waist, and a dangerous voice whispered in her ear—

"Can you do it or not?"

"I can!"

Che Huan bit her lip, instantly subdued.

Huo Jinnan let go.

Feeling the hand move away from her waist, Che Huan quickly picked up the tie, looked up at Huo Jinnan, and on tiptoes, struggled to hang the tie around his neck.

Huo Jinnan’s eyes darkened as he obligingly lowered his head.

Che Huan’s hands climbed onto his shoulders as she looped the tie through the shirt collar.

Huo Jinnan looked down at the woman’s fair neck, his eyes growing increasingly intense.

Che Huan quickly arranged the tie and collar, took a deep breath, lowered her heels, and with her fingers pinched both ends of the tie to make a loop.

Feeling her warm breath on his Adam’s apple then trailing downward, Huo Jinnan, with his head bowed, furrowed his brows even more deeply.

Che Huan finally tied the tie properly, glanced at it, adjusted it a bit, and quickly let go, "Done."

Huo Jinnan cast his eyes down for a glance; the Windsor knot looked very neat.

He sat to the side, rolled up a shirt sleeve, put on his watch, and with a glance at Che Huan said, "In the future, don’t just tie ties for men."

Che Huan was startled, "This is the first time; I hope no one else makes such unreasonable requests in the future!"

In the past, Gu Jizhou never asked her to help him tie his tie!

Huo Jinnan looked at her, his expression softened considerably, and after a while checking the time he asked, "Hungry?"

To say she was hungry wasn’t accurate, to say she wasn’t was also off, so Che Huan stood there in silence.

Huo Jinnan glanced at Che Huan, with a deep look in his eyes, "Aunt Shen will bring it up in a while."

Che Huan awkwardly sat to one side, at the foot of the bed, at a place far from Huo Jinnan.

Huo Jinnan lay on the bed, feet propped to one side.

Che Huan glanced at him; such a tall figure, he appeared even more slender lying down like this. No wonder it was such a struggle to tie his tie.

Height has one advantage: it’s pleasing to look at!

Huo Jinnan closed his eyes and lay there to rest.

Che Huan sat to the side, uncomfortably fiddling with her bangs.

After a while, Huo Jinnan opened his eyes to look at Che Huan, "If you’re sleepy, you can sleep next to me, the bed is big enough."

Che Huan shook her head, "Can you take me out now?"

"What do you think?" Huo Jinnan retorted, seemingly disinterested in further conversation.

Che Huan looked to the side at the team leader, who was biting her skirt and pulling her towards the bed.

Che Huan frantically covered her skirt, "Team leader, I’m not sleepy!"

The team leader released the skirt, settled down in between Huo Jinnan and Che Huan, resting its head on Che Huan’s legs.

Che Huan sat for a while, bored, she couldn’t just sit there watching the man on the bed and his pet dog sleep, could she?

Half an hour later, knocking sounds came from the door, followed by Aunt Shen’s voice, "Second Young Master, lunch."

Che Huan looked in Huo Jinnan’s direction, seeing his eyes closed, unsure if he was asleep and whether she should wake him.

Suddenly, those deep, thick eyes opened, and their gazes unexpectedly met.

Che Huan quickly averted her gaze, her voice barely a whisper, "It seems Aunt Shen you mentioned has brought lunch."

Huo Jinnan’s brow pinched, he sat up, slipped on slippers, and with a chill about him, walked to the door.
