Cyberpunk: Ultimate Cyborg System-Chapter 520: Smart Decision.
A wave of terror rolled over Red Bolt. His first reaction was to leap back, but it was already too late for that. His hands shot up, grabbing the bionic arm, reaching for his face. Try as he might, the arm refused to budge, and the fingers clasped around his face pressed harder, threatening to break his skull.
Dante stared at him for a moment, then turned to his muscular companion.
"Hey, did you really have trouble with these freaks?"
Riot stared at him in stunned silence, and as if his brain processed the question a bit late, he snapped back to his senses and cleared his throat.
"They… they aren't much on their own," He said. "It's their leader who got me, and they can be annoying when they work together."
"When they work together, huh?"
Still looking at the muscular man, Dante held up his free left hand and caught something. He appeared to be holding nothing but air, but the way his hand trembled slightly made it seem as if something was struggling in his hold. His gaze turned to the masked woman a few steps away. No sooner had he seen her extended arms and the grimace on her face than a shadow fell over him.
BAANG
A cloud of dust exploded from the spot where Dante had been standing. Red Bold emerged from it as if he had been blasted by the impact, and as soon as he landed, hatred filled his eyes as he glared back at the dust.
"You freaks really don't understand, huh?"
The dust cleared in a few seconds. At its center, Red Boulder was bending down, his fists planted in a small crater in the ground, cracks spreading from it like spider web. He looked like he had just delivered a devastating strike, but that image is immediately shattered by the sight of the red-haired youth standing on his back and the bulky pistol he pressed to the back of the hero's head.
"Should I send you to your leader?" Dante said. "Maybe that would teach you a lesson."
"Wait!"
The shout came from the woman in red, and it startled even her team members. Dante spared her a glance, but he kept his pistol pressed to the boulder's head. The woman, Red Band, held a hand to her ear and grimaced. Red Bolt did the same, but his face was consumed by anger more than anything else.
As the silence stretched, the aerial vehicle that delivered them landed a short distance away. Red Bolt glanced at Riot, then turned his gaze to Dante, clicking his tongue before walking away.
"Our mission was to stop the mutants," Red Band said, drawing Dante's attention back to her. "You are free to go."
"Smart decision,"
Dante pulled his pistol and jumped off the boulder's back. The heavy hero rose up and looked down at him, then walked away without saying a word.
"I'd better not see you around here anymore!" Red Bold shouted, looking at Riot. "It won't go like this next time!"
The aerial vehicle took off soon after, and Dante heaved a long sigh.
"What… what the hell was that?" Riot asked. "What did you do?"
"Nothing," Dante replied.
[The members of Team Crimson Watch have just received an urgent transmission.] Volcan said. [It contained an order to focus on the objective of their mission and not antagonize Dante Sokolov, a.k.a the Cybrpunk.]
"Ugh…"
"What?" Riot asked.
"I said it's nothing…"
Dane tried to rub the back of his head, only to be reminded of the existence of his MLP. Blaring police sirens drew his attention in a certain direction, causing him to click his tongue.
"Let's get out of here."
"... huh? Oh, right…"
An instant later, the two vanished from the site of the incident.

"FUCK!!!" 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎
A helmet with pointy horns slammed into the floor, then bounced off a wall after being kicked by its owner. As his veins bulged with suppressed rage, Red Bolt could only fume as his fire threatened to consume him. He had tried to restrain himself during the flight back, but even after, he still failed to calm down.
His teammates watched him from the sides but didn't try to do anything to him.
"Was it that bad?" Red Bullet, a short guy with a case twice his size on his back, turned to Red Band with the question. His teammate responded with a sigh.
"I'm gonna kill them…" Red Bold said between gritted teeth. "I'm gonna fucking kill them…"
It has been more than a year since they had been stationed at Red Hill, and in that time, Crimson Watch had fought countless villains and gangsters. Though they struggled from time to time, they had dealt with everything that came their way and came out on top. Even today, they managed to finish their mission with ease, but then-
"I'm gonna kill him!"
"Whoa there! How about you calm down a little?" Red Bullet said. "We got our orders, remember? We are not to mess with that guy."
Red Bolt turned a glare in his direction, but the short guy didn't even flinch.
"You think just anyone could have tamed that Riot? Besides," Red Bullet glared back. "You couldn't even react to his speed. Give it up."
The last words were like fuel spilled into fire, causing Red Bolt's anger to flare once more. The others just ignored him and dispersed, so he was left to burn in the changing room alone.
The feeling of the alloy fingers clamping around his mouth was still fresh on his skin. It was the first thing he sensed. Not the sound of approaching footsteps, not the sight of the red hair moving. His sense of touch was the first thing to warn him, and that alone was enough proof that he had been in a situation beyond what his abilities could handle.
"Fuck…"
Gritting his teeth, Red Bolt tapped the bracer on his left arm and brought up a hologram. Dante Sokolov, that was the name of the man they were told not to mess with. Performing a quick search in the BEO's database, he quickly came across a profile. As soon as he read through it, anger faded from his mind, and only confusion remained.
"Pondering investigation," he muttered. "Threat Level Unknown?"
