Chapter 2059: Arriving at the Eighth Heaven

"He finished the trial in just two weeks? There’s no way that’s possible..." Tian Yuexing mumbled with a bewildered expression on his face.

"Y-You’re lying! There’s no way anyone could’ve finished that trial in just two weeks! Unless he took a different trial than I!" he exclaimed a moment later, refusing to believe such an outrageous result.

Senior Bai merely shook his head and responded calmly, "What would I gain from lying to you? If you don’t want to believe me, you can watch the recordings later."

Tian Yuexing fell silent.

"I really lost...? To a mere mortal? But I am the Heavenly Son..." he muttered, his voice distant, as if trapped in a waking nightmare.

Though this wasn’t his first defeat, he’d never experienced such a crushing defeat before from anyone, much less to a nobody like Yuan, who had seemingly crawled out from nowhere.

He was the Heavenly Son—born to stand at the pinnacle, number one in nearly everything he did. He had always been the one ahead, the one others chased endlessly. But now, for the first time, he found himself in pursuit of another, and he finally tasted the frustration and helplessness that others had felt trying to catch up to him. It was a surreal feeling.

Eventually, Tian Yuexing accepted his defeat and asked Senior Bai, "Where did he go?"

"I don’t know." Senior Bai shook his head.

"Do you know how I can contact him? I want to pay my debt as soon as possible."

Senior Bai wanted to lie and say he didn’t, but with Yuan having already revealed to everyone that he was part of the Celestial Overlords, it would be far too easy to catch him in a lie.

"I’ll let him know that you want to speak with him," Senior Bai said.

"Tell him to find me at the True Heaven Sect or the Tian Family. If he cannot reach me for some reason, I’ll go to him," said Tian Yuexing.

"I understand. Now, do you have a word for the audience?"

Hearing this, Tian Yuexing turned to face the crowd. Yet his eyes didn’t truly see them. Instead, his gaze seemed fixed on some distant place far beyond their reach.

After a moment of silence, he spoke in a loud and clear voice, "I may have lost this time, but it will not happen again! Mark my words, I will defeat you the next time we cross paths!"

It was clear to everyone there that Tian Yuexing was addressing Yuan, who may or may not be watching from afar.

"Do you have a name in mind for your new title?" Senior Bai then asked.

"I don’t care what I am called, but I will only respond to the name Heavenly Sword Emperor," he spoke in an adamant tone.

"Congratulations, Heavenly Sword Emperor. Regarding the Sword Emperor Ceremony, it will take place at a later date once all of the participants are done."

Tian Yuexing narrowed his eyes slightly at the mention of the ceremony. He had little interest in it himself, but realizing that Yuan might attend, he said, "I’ll be there."

Without saying another word, he left the platform and flew directly to where his sister was.

"I’m heading home."

He knew that his sister would mock him for losing, so before she could even open her mouth, Tian Yuexing turned around and sped away.

"What a loser," Tian Jinhui muttered before leaving as well.

Meanwhile, after passing his trial, Yuan arrived at the Eighth Heaven.

"Eighth Heaven, huh? Now I am only one away from reaching the Supreme Heaven..." Yuan muttered.

"So, which clan will you be visiting first?" Feng Yuxiang asked him a few moments later.

"Probably the Rising Phoenix Clan," he said.

"Are you going to disguise yourself as a phoenix like you disguised yourself as a Dragon Emperor for the previous Ancient Seals?"

Yuan smiled and said, "That’s only because I have the resources to disguise myself as a Dragon Emperor. But as for pretending to be a phoenix... I don’t think I have what I need for that. Other than my Heaven Freezing Flame and your movement technique, I don’t really have anything that could help me pull off a phoenix disguise."

"What about your Fire Harmony? That’s something even phoenixes have a hard time achieving. Also, I have plenty of things that you can use to pull off the perfect phoenix disguise."

Feng Yuxiang emerged from his Dantian and began looking through her spatial ring.

A few moments later, she pulled out several items, and Yuan recognized them, as he’d peeked inside her spatial ring during his time at the Primal Expanse.

"The Ancient Phoenix Robes? But only those with a phoenix bloodline can wear it," Yuan said.

"Hm? You know this treasure?" Feng Yuxiang looked at him with a surprised face.

Yuan scratched his head and explained in an apologetic tone, "I forgot to tell you, but I looked through your spatial ring in the Primal Expanse to find anything that could help me approach the phoenixes there. I wore the Ancient Phoenix Robe and even used it to train my fire resistance."

He revealed everything to her, including what treasures he’d used.

Feng Yuxiang listened to every word with a calm expression. When he finished, she said softly, "There’s no need to apologize, Young Master. You did it for my sake, after all. And even if that weren’t true, I still wouldn’t mind—because everything I have is already yours, including my body and soul."

She continued, "Also, I am aware of the Ancient Phoenix Robe’s effect. However, that can easily be fixed with this."

Feng Yuxiang showed him the small bottle that contained a single drop of blood within.

"Isn’t this..." Yuan instantly recognized this treasure.

"Yup. This is the Primordial Phoenix Blood Essence. If you consume it, you should acquire the power and bloodline of a phoenix."

Yuan swallowed nervously, but he didn’t dare to accept it so easily.

"Are you sure?" he asked.
