There was no evil in Seraphim anymore.

Slavery was dead.

Temples were built and people prayed to Gods daily.

Pablo had done what the Gods had asked him to do. Pablo did his job.

Now it was the turn of the Gods to do their job.

They had promised Pablo that if he managed to eradicate evil from Seraphim and made the people believe in Gods again, then the Gods would make sure three wishes of Pablo were fulfilled.

Now was the time for that.

He asked Andrezj to bring Sera out from wherever he had kept her and the male angel did just that.

He then stood beside Pablo.

Cupid stood on the left side of Pablo and she had her palms joined. She was praying to the Gods.

Pablo paid her no mind and focused only on the strongest Angel.

And now that, according to Pablo, everything was done, Pablo asked the main question:

"How to call the Gods?"

"They already know what is going on here. The thing is, we don't call them, Pablo..."

Andrezj closed his eyes.

"They call us."

SHWISHH!

Pablo's surroundings changed.

He wasn't in the dining hall of the King anymore.

He was seated in a chair and in front of him was a throne. A throne bigger than any throne he had seen.

The air smelled of nothing and Pablo looked around.

It was a castle and it was bright. It glowed with golden lights and Pablo could see everything clearly.

Pablo was seated in the middle of thrones.

There were thrones to his left and right and the biggest throne was in front of him.

Pablo would have been surprised by all this if not for him knowing where he was.

On his right, Cupid floated and she had her head hung low.

Andrezj and Sera were nowhere to be seen right now but Pablo knew this took priority more than anything.

All the thrones were empty and Pablo noticed there were ten thrones in total.

Five thrones were on his right and four thrones were on his left.

He was in a simple chair and it was the same chair that Pablo had sat on when he was here in the first place.

The only change he found was the ambience. Last time, it was gloomy and dark but now it is bright. It was as if the whole mood changed.

Pablo thought of this as good news as it meant his workings had produced some fruits and now he only waited for things to get started.

He placed his palms on his knees and straightened his spine.

The next second, what he was waiting for, happened.

The ground rumbled and in no time, all thrones became filled again.

They weren't empty anymore.

But Pablo didn't look around at other thrones as his business was only with the Being sitting on the biggest throne.

"How are you, Pablo?" God Altor said.

He was the same God who was in the biggest throne and he had a smile on his face. He was the King of the Gods. God of death he was called.

"How do I look?" Pablo replied with a question of his own.

Altor raised his shoulder. "I didn't know one girl could make Pablo Castillo like this. How you arrived here and how you became now. That's some change."

"Cut that out. I am only here for one thing." Pablo barked.

Altor smiled. "I know. It seems only your appearance changed. You are still the same."

Pablo rolled his eyes.

"Let's get this over with, Altor. You summoned that Chief to punish me and you won. He did punish me. But I am not angry at you and the other gods. I don't blame you all for it. But now, I have done your work. I cleared the Evil from your world and all the Ten Gods have been restored as well. It's time you give me what I want."

Altor smiled again and said something that wiped the floor off Cupid's feet.

"What if we go back on our words? What if we just kill you and enjoy the world that you have given us?"

Cupid shot his head straight at Altor just as she heard this. She forgot her place and looked straight at Altor with wide eyes.

Of course Altor felt nothing because of Cupid. He didn't pay her any mind and only kept his eyes on Pablo with the same smile.

But Pablo…

He was a man of a different caliber.

Just because he was in grief doesn't mean he wasn't in the game.

Just because a lion is in a cage doesn't mean it won't gobble the hand that would enter his space.

Pablo's face was hidden by his hairs as he had dropped his head down at Altor's feet after hearing God say all that.

But when he felt that all the Gods had a smile on their faces…

Pablo raised his head.

And when he did, the smiles of the Gods vanished.

Now they looked at him with surprise like Cupid looked at Altor.

The reason for such faces of the Gods was simply because…

Pablo was smiling.

Altor had just told Pablo that he wouldn't fulfill his promise. So instead of anger and curses, why the hell was Pablo smiling? Did he finally lose it?

Cupid wasn't surprised at Altor anymore as she found Pablo stranger than the God.

Also, during this one year, Cupid saw such a smile of Pablo for the first time.

It was the same smile Pablo uses when he feels proud of something. When he feels that he did something genius that might look sinister and evil in other's eyes.

"What is it?" Altor asked.

Pablo kept his smile. "I can't believe my mind still works right even after I have become a wreck."

Altor and the other Gods frowned. "What do you mean?"

"I had a feeling what if you people refused? What if you go back on your words to fulfill my wishes. So for that case, I came up with something."

Altor leaned forward. "What did you come up with?"

Pablo flashed his teeths.

"Your death."
