Chapter 201: Chapter 1: Holly Sutton in High School and Lynn Joyner in Middle School

"Hey, bro, look, doesn’t it look familiar?" Mia Sutton said casually, she was completely calm now; was her brother trying to mislead her first?

She took this photo using her secret phone account, sneaking in to capture it, just in case her brother denied it, she could compare it herself.

Holly Sutton opened the photo Mia sent, zoomed in for a closer look. Mia had captured the picture from a good angle. The person in the photo still appeared with a cold expression, but the corners of the lips were slightly lifted, making it hard to notice without careful observation.

A few seconds later, Holly long-pressed on the screen to save the photo, then continued speaking, "Yeah, it does look quite similar."

"Could it be your place?" Mia’s tone was serious this time; one was her brother and the other a friend, naturally she hoped both were doing well. 𝑓𝘳𝘦𝑒𝑤𝑒𝘣𝘯ℴ𝘷𝘦𝓁.𝑐𝑜𝑚

Holly chuckled softly at the words and then openly admitted, "Yeah, you knew that."

There was nothing to hide, as it was indeed his place, and he had personally invited the person over.

Moreover, the person he liked had a great relationship with his sister, which was beneficial; not making use of such a relationship would be foolish. So, why not admit it?

Holly’s gaze became distant, recalling the time he unknowingly saw Lynn Joyner and his sister during a live stream. At that moment, his mind was blank.

It felt like someone unseen for a long time suddenly reappeared in his world, bringing confusion.

For quite a while after, Holly was not himself, even colleagues from his department noticed and asked if something was wrong recently.

The story of Holly and Lynn was rather simple. Holly met Lynn when he was in high school; Holly attended a combined middle and high school, and he was in the second year of high school while Lynn had just entered the first year of middle school.

After school, Holly liked to go to a small shop near the school to buy some snacks; it was a habit of his. Returning frequently, he noticed a girl at a little table directly across from him, consistently doing her homework there.

While others were eating, she focused on her homework, her face always tight, appearing fierce.

Until once, near the school, he saw her again, not alone this time, surrounded by a group dressed in their school uniforms. Holly recognized them as high school students; their uniforms were worn improperly, sloppily, with open zippers.

These girls wore makeup, some even holding cigarettes, embodying a tough social demeanor, while Lynn stood amid them, her face calm, expressionless, as if unaware of her current situation.

After a while, a girl reached out her hand towards the one in the center, "Hand over the money, and we’ll let you go."

Lynn raised her face and said flatly, "I don’t have any."

Holly Sutton: "..." So, she isn’t just arrogant when doing homework but also when being confronted. She looked like she wanted to fight.

Holly glanced a few times and eventually walked over. Though they weren’t acquainted, he had seen her often and felt compelled to help; how could a young middle schooler with small arms and legs fight off several high schoolers?

Holly strode over with one shoulder carrying a bag, "Yo, is there a fight going on?"

Then he looked at the high school girls with his flirtatious eyes, presumably first-years, and kindly advised, "Fighting and extorting is not a good habit, wouldn’t you agree?"
