Chapter 187: That’s Just How It Is With Younger Ones

Mia Sutton looked up from her phone for a moment and saw Jensen Sterling standing not far away, his eyes deep in thought, as if pondering something.

Noticing this, Mia turned off her phone and waved at him, "Mr. Sterling, come over!"

Jensen paused for two seconds, then walked over with his long strides, "Have you been waiting long?"

Mia shook her head, "Not really." She had just come down a short while ago.

Jensen opened the car door, letting Mia get in first, then walked over to the other side.

He stepped on the gas, and the car started, driving out of the garage.

Mia sat in the passenger seat, feeling great, having accomplished a major task.

Jensen could see Mia’s happiness too, her eyes were crescent moons filled with stars.

"Was the contract signing smooth today?"

Mia nodded, "Pretty smooth. After signing, I even took a tour around the company."

One has to admit, entertainment companies are great, with beautiful people everywhere, both guys and girls, and even younger guys, it’s like a beauty contest.

And being a top-notch agency, Prosperity Group definitely signs artists of a higher calibre, with higher looks too.

Entering the company, you see all sorts of beauties, with diverse and complete styles, truly a paradise for beauty lovers.

If she has time in the future, she definitely wants to come look around more, it’s just fabulous.

"There were a lot of seniors in the company and some cute trainees too."

Upon hearing this, Jensen paused for two seconds holding the steering wheel, and asked in a calm voice, "Do you like younger ones?" 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮

Mia casually replied, "They’re not bad, aren’t younger ones cute?"

Then there was silence next to her.

Mia: "..." She turned to look at the person seriously driving next to her. What happened, why is he not talking?

Jensen thought of the trainee earlier. Indeed, they were quite young, but their looks... were just so-so, not exactly cute.

Seeing Jensen quiet, Mia didn’t speak again. She was engrossed in her phone when she heard, "Don’t look at your phone in the car, you might get carsick."

Mia looked up, just about to say she doesn’t get carsick, but seeing the man’s serious expression, she obediently said, "Oh," and put her phone away.

"Can I listen to music then?"

"Sure."

Mia turned on the car’s music and was surprised, "This... is this me singing?"

Indeed, it was a song she sang during her third performance, a very soothing one.

Jensen paused, not expecting this song to play, then calmly responded, "It sounds great."

Mia’s eyes turned into crescents, her voice full of joy, "Right, right? I think it sounds great too, I really liked this song back then."

Jensen: "Mm."

Mia, feeling happy, relaxed into the song, complimenting herself inwardly for her good singing.

Delightful!

After about an hour, they arrived home.

After Jensen stopped the car, he saw the person next to him quietly leaning back on the seat, eyes closed, with long lashes casting shadows, her head slightly tilted, asleep.

Mia, asleep, seemed even more well-behaved, just delightful.

Jensen looked at her with deep eyes, frowning a bit.

So adorable, she’s too easy to attract others.

Mia woke up, opened her eyes to see the person next to her looking at his phone, rubbing her eyes, her voice soft from sleep, "Why didn’t you wake me up when we got home?"

Jensen put down his phone hearing this, "We haven’t been here long, let’s go up."
