After a morning of trouble, Serena Jennings finally realized her wish to become a VIP at Sunstone Hospital. She strutted around like an inspector, her chin held high, on the VIP-exclusive twelfth floor.
Exclaiming repeatedly, "It’s truly different from the regular ward area; no wonder everyone wants to be a VIP of Sunstone Hospital."
When she reached the other corridor at the corner, a security guard stopped them, "Sorry, this is our top-level VIP area, no entry allowed."
Serena Jennings was instantly stuck like someone swallowing chaff, arrogantly saying, "I am a top VIP!"
The security guard glanced at her, "Sorry! You’re not!"
They recognized top-level VIPs at a glance, and only one had checked in these days, a friend of the director.
Jasper Hawthorne quickly pulled his about-to-fly-off-the-handle wife, "Alright, since we’ve finished the four-dimensional ultrasound, we should head back. I still have a lot to deal with in the afternoon."
Serena Jennings was full of reluctance, "I want to be a top-level VIP!"
Jasper Hawthorne rolled his eyes, "Can’t you stop comparing everything with others? Do you know that by insisting on becoming a VIP here, we’ve already owed third uncle a favor?"

Jasper Hawthorne took a couple of steps and saw his cousin following behind a woman, looking very close.
Justin Hawthorne reflexively turned his head upon hearing the voice, and upon seeing his cousin and cousin’s wife, he greeted them with a smiling face, "Hello, Jasper, hello, Serena."
Mary also knew the Hawthorne family was complicated, so she asked the accompanying Guard Grant to take the food inside first, smiling at the couple opposite as a greeting.
Serena Jennings had met Justin Hawthorne twice and was a bit puzzled about why he was here, especially when the blonde beauty beside him ordered the nurse to bring the food into the top VIP area where the guard didn’t allow her entry!

Jasper Hawthorne also knew his cousin had a godfather and godmother, seemingly the hospital director and his wife, so the blonde beauty must be the director’s wife?
"Twinkle, where’s your dad? Is he okay with you being here alone? Why not come back with Jasper? Grandpa would be happy to see you."
Justin Hawthorne shook his head, "No, Dad knows I’m here, and I’ll go back in the evening to have dinner with Grandpa and Grandma."
Serena Jennings’ focus wasn’t there; she warmly turned to Mary, "Twinkle’s godmother, I’m Twinkle’s sister. Do you know the patient in the top-level VIP area? Can you take me in for a visit?"
Mary looked at her puzzled, "We don’t know each other. Why would I take you to visit my friend?"
Her refusal was evident.
Serena Jennings felt a bit awkward but quickly justified herself, "Actually, I’m hoping to become a top-level VIP at this hospital; do you know any shortcuts?"
Mary shook her head, "Top-level VIP spots are limited, all booked for the coming years."
Serena Jennings’ complexion turned ashen, "..."
Jasper Hawthorne quickly pulled her, "That’s enough! Let’s go home!"
Serena Jennings still wanted to say something, but Mary had already led Justin Hawthorne away.
