The cubs were furious. They jumped again.

Across the cave floor Shi Feng suddenly raised his hand without opening his eyes. "...Too loud."

Han Jue groaned. "...My head hurts."

On the stone bed Xuan Long quietly turned over and pulled the blanket over his head.

Rong Ye watched the scene with amusement before he took a huge bite of a giant roasted leg.

He was so busy with Lan Lan he didn’t get to eat food... but it’s not like he regretted it... he just missed the opportunity to get drunk and flirt with his female.

But does he really need to be drunk to flirt? Absolutely not! He was Rong Ye!

Rong Ye’s chest puffed up as he praised himself endlessly in his mind.

Meanwhile, Su Qinglan sat frozen on Hu Yan’s lap with a completely blank face.

Three grown men were lying on the ground in all kinds of messy positions, sleeping as if they had absolutely no worries in the world.

It was none other than Hu Yan, Han Jue, and Shi Feng.

Hu Yan was lying flat on his back with one arm thrown carelessly over his face. Han Jue had somehow rolled halfway onto his stomach, one leg stretched awkwardly behind him.

And Shi Feng... well... Shi Feng looked like he had fallen asleep in the middle of arguing with the ground itself.

None of them had even bothered to move to the bed. They had simply collapsed wherever they fell.

Compared to that chaotic sight, the scene on the stone bed was much more peaceful.

Su Qinglan slept quietly with the three cubs. The two tiger cubs had squeezed themselves tightly against her sides like small furry pillows.

One of them had wrapped its tiny paws around her arm, while the other had buried its face deep into the blanket, breathing softly.

Between them, Su Qinglan slept comfortably and peacefully.

Rong Ye was also there, snuggled close beside her. On the other side of the bed, Xuan Long lay quietly with one arm loosely resting around Su Qinglan’s waist, his breathing slow and calm as he slept.

As for the smallest one, Xiao San did not sleep directly on the bed. In his tiny snake form, he had curled himself neatly inside a small basket placed near the head of the bed between Su Qinglan and Xuan Long.

Apparently, he preferred that spot. After all, if he slept directly on the bed, someone might accidentally roll over and squash him.

A small snake like him had to think carefully about survival.

The cave was quiet. Everyone slept deeply.

But soon, someone stirred.

Shi Feng slowly groaned as he shifted on the cold stone floor. "Ugh..." He pushed himself up sluggishly and sat there for a few seconds with messy hair and half closed eyes, looking completely dazed.

Then he frowned.

Something felt wrong.

His head hurt. Not just a little either. It felt like someone had taken a huge stone and was gently but repeatedly knocking inside his skull.

"Why does my head feel like someone is pounding something inside it..." he muttered hoarsely.

Rubbing his temples, he forced his eyes open properly. The bright light coming from outside the cave made him squint painfully.

Slowly, he staggered to his feet and walked toward the cave entrance.

Outside, the forest was already bright with morning light.

Shi Feng blinked once... then twice.

His eyes suddenly widened.

Morning!!

It was already morning!!

The sleepiness vanished instantly, and his gaze became sharp. His eyes were slightly red from last night’s drinking as his mind slowly began to wake up.

He quickly turned around and looked back into the cave.

Everyone else was still asleep.

Hu Yan and Han Jue, both of them were still lying on the ground like two fallen trees.

Shi Feng ignored them and hurried toward the stone bed.

Then he saw it.

Su Qinglan was sleeping peacefully. The cubs were curled comfortably near her. Rong Ye was sleeping quietly beside her, and Xuan Long lay calmly on the other side with his hand resting gently on her waist.

Everything looked warm, peaceful and beautiful. Shi Feng stared at the scene.

And then, the memories of last night suddenly rushed back into his mind like a violent flood.

The drink.

That strange, sweet drink.

That cheerful young boy proudly handing them the fermented palm sap.

"Just try it! It’s very good!"

One cup.
