Chapter 955: Chapter 955: Suddenly So Romantic

Ji Wei felt a bit perplexed, but still turned her head as instructed.

Gu Moqian, wearing a beige thin sweater and casual pants, stood in front of the garden bushes, holding his phone in one hand, with the other hand behind his back.

Ji Wei found his actions a bit puzzling, "What are you doing?"

Being so close, he could have just walked over, yet he called.

"We should go home," the man’s deep and magnetic voice sounded in her ear.

"Okay, I’ll tell dad first."

Gu Moqian watched as the woman hung up the phone, then walked over to Gu Zhizhou’s wheelchair, squatting down and saying something to him.

Her clear and elegant face always carried a gentle and warm smile, holding Gu Zhizhou’s hand while talking, her eyes curved in a smile.

Soon, he saw Ji Wei walking over step by step, holding the child.

"You got off work quite early today, is there something going on?" Ji Wei asked as she approached.

Just as she finished speaking, a large bouquet of vibrant red roses suddenly appeared before her eyes, leaving Ji Wei momentarily speechless.

Even though she and Gu Moqian had been married for two or three years, it seemed he had never seriously given her flowers.

Suddenly so romantic, Ji Wei felt a bit unaccustomed to it. Still holding An An, she didn’t reach out but blinked and smiled, "Why did you think of giving me flowers?"

"Don’t like it?" Gu Moqian’s dark eyes looked at her, deep and profound.

"I like it—"

Just as she said this, An An’s chubby little hand suddenly reached out, grabbing a few blooming red roses with force, marveling, "Pretty flowers! Give to grandpa!"

Completely ignoring the bewildered expressions of mom and dad, the little guy swiftly slid down from Ji Wei’s embrace, grasping a few stems of roses, and toddled back to Gu Zhizhou, offering the flowers to him like a treasure.

Gu Zhizhou couldn’t help but laugh, glancing at the couple standing not far away, then lowered his head and said a few words to An An.

An An scratched his little head in confusion, glanced towards his parents, and then pushed the few roses into Gu Zhizhou’s arms, "There are lots of flowers, grandpa take them!"

Gu Zhizhou was taken aback, having no retort for his little grandson’s clever remark.

Watching this, Ji Wei couldn’t help but smirk, "You should buy a bouquet for my little sweetheart too, he loves flowers so much."

Gu Moqian raised his eyebrows but didn’t say anything in response.

Suddenly, he stepped towards Gu Zhizhou.

Ji Wei saw him place the whole bouquet of roses into An An’s hands. An An struggled to hold the flowers, which were half his size, looking extremely excited.

After Gu Moqian returned, he didn’t say much, just grabbed Ji Wei’s hand and walked forward.

"Heading home? Not taking our son?" Ji Wei thought Gu Moqian’s behavior was unusual today.

"I spoke with dad, An An will stay at the manor tonight, I’ll pick him up tomorrow," Gu Moqian replied, suddenly stopping and looking at Ji Wei intently for a few seconds, "The rest of the time belongs to just us."

"Why?" Ji Wei couldn’t understand why he was so impulsive.

Gu Moqian raised his hand and tapped her smooth forehead, "Don’t you know what day it is?"

Ji Wei frowned, looking at the man’s handsome features while covering her forehead, pondered for a while, and then suddenly realized.

Today is February 14th.

Gu Moqian drove, taking Ji Wei back to the high-end apartment in the city center.

Upon opening the door, Ji Wei found that the maid who usually cooked for them was absent, and the whole apartment was incredibly quiet.

She stood at the entrance, reaching out to grab the slippers, but Gu Moqian was one step ahead and handed them to her.

Watching the man naturally squat down to put shoes on her, Ji Wei felt a bit embarrassed and said, "Moqian, I’m not a child. Doing this might spoil me."
